This location located at the methuen loop, is very clean and nicely organized. The employees are friendly polite and eager to be of assistance. I do need to say the clearance section is extremely well put together from sizes to cost. The fitting rooms are lovely with the perfect size room and shiny mirror. Customer service is appreciated with their knowledge and exquisite. I give this location a 5+stars, they deserve so much more. The management should be proud of this team. read more

Every thing is so picked over. I watch people look at things and just throw it on the floor not brothering to put it back where they got it. There are also large groups of unsupervised kids running through the store knocking things over and into people. There were two men just trying on pants on the sales floor. LOVE this place. They have great active wear, cute yoga pants and zip up hoodies to wear to the gym. Their shoes are hit or miss, and their flip flops? Who doesn't have like 8 pairs? They come in every color of the rainbow and they're only 5 bucks. Lately they've begun carrying more and more accessories too. They have cute, cheap bags, jewelry, and sunglasses. They're not the best quality, but if your sunglasses cost 8 bucks you don't care if they fall apart 3 months later. They get new stuff in everyday, so if you see something you like that fits and you like the color, grab it! Because it probably won't be there the next time. I went to this Old Navy today for the first time in a long while and I honestly never remember it being this bad. I would understand the store being messy if it had been a peak time on a weekend as thing would be picked over but it looks like no one has recovered the store in days. Things just seem thrown everywhere, really disorganized, and my friend found four of the same shirt in the clearance section two with no price, one marked at 7.99 and one marked at 4.99, and they were all the same size. It just seems to me like there is either a lack of help or a lack of care. I will say there was plenty of help at the cash wrap when we went to ring out and the woman who I got was very friendly (unfortunately I didn't get catch her name.) There seemed to be a lack of service anywhere else in the store though, not really any presence of customer care anywhere. That's just what I've gathered. read more

You have to know how to work it at Old Navy to get the best deals. Rule #1 Never never never pay full price ... I promise you it will go on sale. If it doesn't, you didn't need it. Rule #2 This is one place where having the card really helps. I have an ON Visa, they send you rewards to spend like cash in the store. Plus you get special sales. The clothes (especially layering t's) are def. cheaper quality than they were years ago. But I have so many clothes, I'll get sick of these before they wear out. The fleece tops and jackets are soft fuzzy and warm. They never get those icky pill-y balls that some fleeces get. One thing I do hate here is the music. It is awful stuff and played far too loudly, especially if you are standing under a speaker and trying to talk to someone. I've never had a problem with the help at this store. Usually the people there are helpful and mostly friendly. I usually feel good about the deals I get here and that makes me happy :) read more

I didn't want to give this store any stars, but had no choice to give it one. I recently went in this store to buy my child a few outfits for the school year. The place looked like a tornado went throught it. Ridiculous, I would be ashamed to be a worker there. When you work in retail, you need to stay on top of things. But not this store. I was only able to find two things for my daughter. Who has the time to dig through piles and piles of clothes just thrown everywhere. None of the cowokers cared, which shows how lazy they are. If you go to Macy's, Nordstrom or Jcpenny you never see that. Customers come first always. Meaning break a little sweat for your customers and fold and organize as you go. It's your job and you'll have a higher chance for a customer to purchase something. Horrible, horrible experience. The young lady at the counter was rude. Stood there and chit chatted for a minute before scanning my two items. She did not greet me at all, like customer service's top priority should be. Smile, greet, and organize your store. If I could give it 0 stars I would! Stood in line 35 minutes for an 8.00 bag two days in a row on my lunch hour! Only one register open and other employees walking around past the line could have cared less. The one register was checkout, customer service and returns! When cashier finally called for help (7 frustrated people in line), the young man took his time and when she said to him "this woman has been waiting a long time" his reply was "YA, SO". If that was my employee, he'd be fired! I will not be returning to this store again and if it stays running like this in my opinion they will end up closing the doors! read more

I like Old Navy Clothes, especially for the kids. Each time I go into Old Navy at the Loop, I leave there so frustrated. Clothes are everywhere, disorganized and not clean. Lines are always 10-15 people deep and VERY slow moving - even at odd times when you think it wouldn't be so busy. This took the cake today - my husband and I went in on Saturday to shop a bit and noticed a Starbucks cup on a shelf in the baby section, with the name 'Elizabeth' on it. We made a joke about it and that is what made me remember it. I was back today (Wednesday) and it. was. still. there. I do not think it is a coincidence and it just goes to show the condition of that store. I will now only shop online or at the Nashua or Danvers store. read more

I am a huge fan of Old Navy in itself but this location is one of the worst to ever go to. Walking in the front door looks like a swap meet, there are random children running around the store by themselves with no one to look after them ripping up rack after rack of clothing, things look like they've been worn and returned (deodorant marks all the way down the sides, reeks of cheap perfume) and they're just laying out in the middle of everything. One of the sales associates in the store was sitting on her cell phone texting while she was supposed to be folding clothes and putting them away... change their store layout so that it would look different but frankly it's actually makes it look worse is it just hide the disgraceful mess behind each wall. I actually don't mind how trashed the Old Navy at Methuen Loop is. I am able to find amazing bargains because of how unorganized it is. Can't find $0.47 leggings for my 3-year old anywhere else! But that's only if I have time to wait in the awful long line to price check all the items I'm interested in because there are ZERO price checker machines in the store. You have to take your entire haul up to the cashier to scan and verify the prices. I would think the store would want those machines to avoid a huge mess of rejected clothes at the register checkout area. But they don't care about appearances here. I saw a completely empty spin display at the checkout area, and a week later it was still there....empty of course. What's really frustrating about this place is that there was only 1 cashier working when I was there on 1/1/16. The line was growing, yet there were at least 3 other employees nearby folding clothing. Hello! Drop what you're doing and attend to the line please. Poor management. I don't shop too often at Old Navy but I have NEVER seen an Old Navy, or any store for that matter, such a disaster! I literally could not even look around for anything because there was just heaps and mounds of unfolded clothes thrown everywhere. I'm so glad some of the other reviews posted pictures to show the mess. Who is the manager of this store? Don't they clean up or have their employees clean at the end of the night? This was not a typical mess at a busy clothing store. This was literally like it was not cleaned up in days or even weeks; like they just close the store and open it the next day like that. They should be really cleaning up as they go throughout the day so it doesn't get so bad. I wonder who the regional manager is... I definitely will not be going back to that location for ANYTHING. The cashiers and floor-employees are rude, slow and have a lazy, "I can't be bothered" attitude. Honestly, Old Navy may have its ups and downs from the clutter and mess in the stores. But its not to blame on the staff of Old Navy because they are only trying there best to fulfill customers needs first. The customer is always first in a store as fantastic as Old Navy. Staff stay even longer than closing to clean up and improve the stores looks for the next day, where before opening workers are there to clean up even more so the store is presentable to the customers. It may be messy with toys and clothes all around but it is only there because we have kids who love playing with toys so the workers give them the opportunity to be themselves in the building and enjoy themselves. The reason for the clutter and clothes being all around is because the sales in Old Navy is ridiculously good and all the customers always want a piece of whats on sale before it is all out. The benefits that the store provides helps save tons of money towards your spending. Every week there is always a special going on in Old Navy whether its to save 5% to 30% on items that are marked or are on display. As well as save 5$ to 20$ for either trying on clothes or it being a special of the week. Not only do you save there is also a Old Navy Visa card which helps a lot because it contains either a day earlier towards those hectic sales days such as the 1$ flip flop sales. Where you can come to the store a day before the regular customers would come and receive sandals for a 1$ a piece rather than its original price. Also the card provides discounts weekly, just like the specials it has; The card gives you more for your buck. Another reason would be that Old Navy contains staff that are always positive and willing to help with any customers needs. Whether its looking for an outfit for an outing to impress your significant other or to searching for the socks or shoes in the back to see if they are still available for the customer. Old Navy has workers who are willing to give 100% of attention towards the customer, communicate to the customer, and create a positive outlook towards the customer so they may return and talk to the same worker again. Just as friends are close, a customer and a worker in Old Navy are close because they never forget a friendly face. Old Navy is an amazing store, glad to see the remodel finished, and can't wait to shop more, buy more, and save lots. read more

If I could have given 0 starts I would have. This store is always a complete mess with piles of clothes shoved in corners and stacked on top of racks. The managers seem to not want to help fellow staff members when the line gets 20+ people deep. With this, all staff seems to be completely miserable and complain to customers which in its self is unacceptable. Unfortunately that tends to come from management not wanting to have a team building environment and a successful store. I went in to do a rerun at the store and with a very large line, and the manager and 3 other people just standing behind the line I was getting a bit fed up that it wasn't moving knowing I had to make an appointment. I kindly went up to one of these associates just hanging out and explained the situation and asked if I would be able to just do a return at one of the 3 empty registers. She asked the manager who again was doing nothing and told me that I had to get back in line. Coming from a management position myself this is completely unacceptable to me. Your customers are who help get you a pay check at the end of the week. It was pure laziness and not a way you should be running a store. Both staff and management need serious training.
