this place is useless…read more two people working there, after they greeted me they ignored me. i was the only customer in the store. for 20 min i browsed the boot section, which stock is not accessible to the customer, glancing up to see if either person would acknowledge or offer assistance. one kid stared out the front window like a mannequin. the other leaned against a shelf on their phone. i shouldn't have to go out of my way to get your attention to spend my hard earned money on your boots that cost over $100 even though they're made in vietnam. i finally just walked out. zero retail etiquette. i hope this place closes.

This business engages in unethical practices. My daughter made a purchase mid Dec 2024 for a…read morerelative and it needed to be returned. The receipt given to my daughter was only a gift receipt. When we went to return the item, we were told it would have to be a merchandise credit which we protested as original buyer. We were finally able to call the store in Mass where purchase was made and the asst mgr looked up and emailed the receipt to the Nh store. We were never told the receipt was a gift receipt in the bag and that the original receipt was never offered. Our guess is that this was intentionally done so that customers are forced into a merchandise credit. The Salem NH staff flat out refused to credit my account but we were in some way fortunate to talk to an asst mgr in the Lynnfield Mass store where the org purchase was made to obtain the receipt and provide it to NH. Buyer beware. No more a customer there.

So I don't have to look all over to find the outfit on the manikin. They staff is helpful and know we're stuff is at bits is a small store. This store(company) has amazingly great deals. The sale are always good. No just 5% off but 25% or more. They reward program is also a big benefit. One day we got 5 full outfits w/o shoes and shocks for only $1.00 we used all our points. I went to the Cliff Crossing Salvation Army yesterday in Salem, New Hampshire with six bags of…read morewomen, women's clothing and shoes. A woman came out of the building and didn't even acknowledge me went back into the building and came out again and I asked her where I put the donated items and she said it says right there to bring them into the back of the bin. So, at 75 years old, I logged all six bags from the trunk of my car into the back of the bin. There were no donation receipt so I didn't get one for my taxes. I've been looking for one online so I don't have to go back there. I could have gone somewhere else where someone would have been available to unload the items from my trunk for me and direct me to where I would obtain a receipt. I had been to the Salvation Army in the past and the receipts were typically outside on a table and there was somebody there to assist. But that was not the case this time. Next time I will find somewhere else to donate.
