However, the men's section was the smallest I've seen of any of the BR locations I've ever been to. EVER. Yes, I know and understand that many stores usually have more space dedicated to women's apparel, however, visit this location and you'll see what I mean. It's more like 95% women's, 5% men's. Anyway, I ended up purchasing a sweater that caught my eye - I'm sure the half off sale helped me make my decision. I do like BR however, if I lived in the area, I'm not sure whether or not I'd frequent this particular location. I'd be concerned I would never find what I wanted or anything in my size.

The manager proceeded to tell me that it said it was a credit card if I had read the display on the terminal. I told her that I didn't read it and that I entered invalid info as I don't give out my credit card number. The manager made me feel like it was my fault. All she had to do was apologize and I would have been fine with that. I have worked in retail and I would not treat a shopper like I was treated. I won't be shopping here again.

There are two main entrances on two different sides of the store, so customers can pick which parking lot and entrance works best for themselves. Unfortunately, only one of the entrances has checkout registers at it; the other doesn't have any registers close to the door like it did before the big makeover. I was looking for men's khaki pants and dress shirts, and, after looking through many of the shelves, I would hate to conduct inventory in these departments. With the khaki pants, they were all on the shelves that contained the same brand. The styles (slim fit, straight fit and classic fit) were all mixed together, making it necessary for me to look through every single pair of khaki pants for the size and style that I wanted. I found two in the exact style and size that I needed. It was worth taking that time because of the good quality and price for them. The same everything-all-mixed-up thing happened when I was looking for dress shirts in a different part of the store, only I didn't find anything in my exact size, but I thought the prices were high anyway, and the quality of the shirts was just ok. Overall, the store looked clean and organized, but I found that the styles of clothing in the men's departments were mixed together, causing a time-wasting situation for customers looking for their specific style.

Because it was my first time selling, I asked them to tell me why they didn't take some things so I'd better understand next time. They were very helpful and gave me a style guide explaining exactly what they're looking for at this time. All of the employees were polite and helpful and it was a pleasant experience. The store is definitely geared towards junior/teen styles, and they have specific brands they want to buy. I didn't browse long (since my teenager wasn't with me and they finished my stuff so quickly), but that would be where they might could improve. The place is packed with stuff - like so much I couldn't really love clothes on the rack. They were also having a clearance sale and clearance items were in bins with no apparent size/style/gender divisions which, for me, is far too overwhelming to shop through. Everything was neatly folded, but I imagine it will be a huge mess once people actually start shopping in those bins.
