I normally steer clear of Old Navy stores, because the lines of long, the clothing are substandard, and they don't sell the tall version of their jeans in the stores. However, I went into this location, cause Im hardly at Arbor place and I had saved some items on my shopkick app that I wanted to view at Old Navy and could tell from the outside of the store that this location was neatly organized. This location is actually inside the mall, and that may be the norm for some of you, but I'm use to most Old Navy stores either being stand alone stores, or in a strip mall. My interaction at this location was the best ever at a Old Navy. A worker named Nick immediately greeted me and began to assist me locate the items I was looking for. We were unable to find one item in particular and he searched the computer and said that there was one in the store, we looked for it for a while and I gave up and exited the store. About a minute later Nick walked up to me in the mall and said, he found the shirt. I was shocked that he even continue to look for the shirt after I left the store. I'm not really a fan of Old Navy but my nieces love the place. I was looking for some pants for my mom and also some usual (to me) pieces of jewelry for an event and I figured I'd stop here to see what they had. I was pleasantly surprised! The store was not fully stocked, but I did keep in mind that children had just returned to school......The store was nice and clean and I appreciate a store that is not cluttered so this is not a complaint....The jewelry was nice. They had an assortment of women's and what appeared to be girls/young adult's pieces. Many of these items were on sale, which was a plus! They even had a few cute pair of sandals and GUESS WHAT???? They had TIN LUNCH BOXES. And yes I did come out of there with my own HELLO KITTY lunch box. read more

I only go into the Old Navy stores when they have the annual $1 flip flops lol. This time I was looking for some plain shirts for work. The clearance area was LIT!! There were so many people in the store but everyone was friendly and the staff was helpful. The clearance was off the chain this day. Some of the tags said one thing and the price was even lower. I bought several dresses and shirts for less than $3!!! I came up on this day. The racks were a mess but that was to be expected with the sale going on. Crazy lines were understood for Black Friday, but not the attitude from one of the seasoned clerks. After 6pm, there were about 30 in line when a young blonde clerk asked if any of us had cash, so she could quickly check us out. The credit crowd would not allow us to move forward,so we walked up toward the clerk. As we did, the short-haired African-American female clerk interjected and questioned had we even been in line, as if she missed the memo from the blonde clerk who was to her immediate right. Her snarkiness caused us to just leave our merchandise. We are visiting family, so we will not be fortunate enough to be graced by her rude approach again. We get the stress of this holiday, but check the attitude at the door. The blonde clerk seemed to actually try to alleviate the madness. Will not return to this location. read more

Overall, decent experiences at this store. There is one employee who two times I have come in contact with her I hate to say this or use this phrase, but I can't think of anything other than 'know it all'! I was asking about something Old Navy used to sell and she said they never sold it and I said, well, I bought it from Old Navy back in ... 2007 and she emphatically told me I didn't know what I was talking about that she had worked for Old Navy since 2007 and they have never carried that. Okay ... why is it important for you to tell me I am wrong and that I am lying?! I am a customer! Just strange. I saw her again and asked about a sport's bra - I said I know this one is on sale, but is this one? She said neither of those is on sale. I said, this one is, cause I just bought one, but I wanted to know if these were too. She just looked at me and said well I guess you just got lucky cause that is not supposed to be on sale. What?! I just don't understand why an employee constantly wants to contradict a customer and argue with them? Bad attitude. Definitely will be avoiding her if I see her again! However, I have also met some really nice employees there who have been polite and helpful. I do think they need more salespersons on the floor so you can ask for help if you need something, but they all seem to be in the back or at the checkout. I love the sales and the clearance especially. I love that they have one of those price checkers on the wall so you can check if it is on sale or has been marked down. Store is kept pretty neat. The clearance shelves/displays are messy, but that's just they way clearance usually is at busy stores - if they gave more room for the clearance area it would be a lot easier to keep it organized and to sort through things. You get tired of sorting through a small section with hardly any room where there isn't enough space for hangers, you know? I had stopped shopping at Old Navy for a while because I noticed the poor quality of the clothes and that they were so thin you had to keep them ironed all the time and they would still wrinkle and that they would fall apart easily. Since then I have noticed the clothes are a little better in quality and if they aren't I only buy them if they are marked down pretty low. The manager they currently have at the store - I believer her name was ... Megan? It could be something else, but that is the name that comes to mind - is great. She is friendly, upbeat, smart, and a hard worker. Really appreciated her help when I met her. When you buy something from Old Navy and you use a coupon or special rewards bucks and you return it or exchange it you will not get your deal back. What I mean is that if you want to exchange something of equal value that cost exactly the same you are not able to if you used your rewards bucks or old navy cash with it. Not cool. If you return it you only get what they figure you paid on it after the rewards bucks or old navy coupon has been taken off for each item. Doesn't see like a big deal, but just know that if you return something you are not going to get a coupon back or the actual price of the item to go towards and exchange. Similar to how Kohl's works. If you shop at Bed Bath and Beyond, you can ask for you coupon back on something you return that you used a coupon on. Best thing about Old Navy? Good place for T-shirts. Something that is a fad that will go out of style soon is a great selection here cause it will cost less than another store and if it falls apart it will be out of style soon. Double check the coupons and sales though, cause you might have a coupon that is not as good of a deal as what is going on in the store. Double check the prices on things before you buy. Check your receipt as I was accidentally overcharged for some items which were marked down with a sales sticker on the item but not updated to reflect that price in the system. Good place to find some small Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers. If you do not use your old navy credit card for ... either 6 months or 9 months they just close your account then you have to reopen and account again and it is another hit on your credit. You cannot pay your bill over the phone. Only through mail and online. They will charge you for certain things if you call them for help with your card. Sometimes you can get some really good deals here. Problem with that? You just don't realize how much you have spent when you get to the checkout because you found so many good deals it all adds up! Kind of like Target! Oh - I have met some nice customers in this store and some rude customers in this store. I thought people were nice in Douglasville, but maybe when they start shopping they get a little ... irritable?! lol! I wish they would offer petite and tall sizes at the stores as well as online and the deals online are better than in the stores which is a bummer too!!!! read more
