The store used to be on the second floor of the mall and it was really expansive. Now it is on the main floor, a bit smaller, but still showcasing nice clothes. Love their jeans, sweatshirts and shirts. The corporate entity of Abercrombie & Fitch is branded as an American lifestyle retailer that focuses on casual wear. They seem overly pretentious, judgy and just not very helpful. Often, they speak to you as if you are a high school student who walks into a Ferrari dealership asking for a test drive. Noses in the air. Even when you chase them down to help you ... they act like the waiter in Ferris Beauller's Day Off. I do find myself shopping here more than I'd like and each time I feel ignored by the staff, or like I am annoying them with anything I ask. I have been to other Banana Republic stores which are much friendlier and the staff actually seem to want to help me buy clothes. The Garden City location is just terrible.
