First time going there and I was really impressed. Everyone was friendly and really made us feel welcomed. We asked the waiter his opinion on what apps to get and boy he sure did a great job! The meatballs were amazing and the bbq wings were delicious!! Definitely will go back and get pizza! Loved the look inside and outside. Highly recommend!! read more

Recently stopped in between a wedding ceremony and a reception for food and drinks. We had several members of our party who had food allergies and our server Emily was awesome! The pizza was delicious! read more

We have eaten here twice - the first time was Mother's Day this year, we ordered takeout. When we got home, it turned out that they forgot to give us half of our order - when we contacted them and went back, the manager apologized and gave us a $10 gift card to come back at a later time. So we came back on August 11th... and it was pretty good! The first time, we only ordered appetizers, so this time, we tried their entrees. I had the breaded chicken sandwich with mozzarella and it was okay - I was expecting the cheese to be melted, it was very good leftover, though! My parents and brother enjoyed their meals - and our waiter was pretty attentive. It is good diner quality food. read more

Went here for dinner on a Thursday night so it wasn't very busy. This is an old church converted into a restaurant. We opted for seating outside. Inside sounded very noisy but outside was perfect. Staff were very friendly. One staff member brought an extra chair over to our table for my pocketbook which was unusual and very much appreciated. Our server made some suggestions from the menu and offered us bread. Now bread is often plain and boring. Not this bread! Don't know what they put on it but it was excellent. The outside crust was crisp with plenty of flavoring. Inside was soft and fresh. I could've spent the night just eating bread. Since it was ladies night I opted for the traditional pizza and sangria. The drink list was extensive particularly the beer options. My guest got the smokehouse chicken sandwich and beer. We shared an appetizer of cheeseburger egg rolls. Portion sizes were generous. Food was delicious. My drink was just right - a bit strong at first but perfect as the ice melted. Staff came to check on us often and cleared unused items quickly. Towards the end of the night music from the open mike night started which was enjoyable. The restaurant is on a main road but, except for a rare loud engine vehicle, the road noise was not noticeable. The dessert menu looked so enticing but we were stuffed from dinner and couldn't eat any more. We plan to return to try other food options and will leave room for dessert. read more

I went to Old Glory for the first time and my experience was very good. Everything about this place is so unique and new it makes me wanna try everything on the menu. The place looked so nice and so clean. For desert I highly recommend the Oreo Milk shake because a shake like that, comes once in a lifetime. Only thing that's keeping it from a 5 is where I was sitting because it was hard to watch the yankee game, however defiantly coming back here! Keep up the good work 4.5/5 read more

Their pizza is excellent - my husband wasn't impressed with the crab cake sandwich though - it came out super fast, like within 5 minutes, making us wonder if it had been pre-made... My pizza came out about 15 minutes later (no big deal to me except as previously stated). I'll be back, but not sure if my husband will go, so likely when it's just me and our daughter or friends... read more

Emily was fantastic! Our food and drinks were awesome! We loved the fire pit outside.

While the ambiance of the place is nice, if you are not white, don't eat here. The manager gave us a box for take out while we were still eating. Our pizza was still 3/4 and our beer was still full. The receptionist gave us dirty looks. We dealt like being pushed out of the place read more

Food and atmosphere are spectacular! I love the American theme and the service was great. The pizza is some of the best around central jersey which says a lot coming from a place the does it all. We were just going to try the wings but the pizza sounded like it was worth the shot and it was! Almost too full to finish the sweet Thai chili wings but we couldn't stop eating those either! 10/10 read more

Food was awesome and so was the service. They where so quick to refill our drinks! Even when our drinks where half empty, they ran over to fill them. Loved every second of it until we got the bill. Turns out they charge for fountain drink refills, hence the "great" service. The worst part is no one said a word about the charge for refills and all we got was a "Yeah, we charge for refills. Sorry about that," when we asked our waitress about the bill and why no one said something. Just disappointing that the fountain drinks cost more then any food items we ordered. read more

Let me tell you!! This place rocks! I planned a family day and we went to the Magic Of Lights in Holmdel at the PNC. While looking for a place to eat that was kid friendly and family oriented, I stumbled upon this place. I look at the reviews as I always do before spending money at any place and they were all positive. Well, we got here about 6:15 and the wait was about an hour and half. Needless to say, we waited because we wanted to see what all the fuss was about "Old Glory Kitchen"! Well listen here, the service was impeccable, the food was excellent and atmosphere was welcoming! Our server was amazing and when he needed a little help because we were a large party, the rest of the crew stepped right in and assisted him. This is definitely a place that my family and I are coming back to considering we're from North Jersey; this is a trip worth taking. So happy to speak to the manager here to make her aware of how welcoming the experience was. Being a people manager myself I understand how challenging it could be working under pressure while yet delivering an awesome experience! This is a place that has all of that and a lot more. Please make your way down to Keyport to enjoy the food. They also have an outside eating space as well but due to the season we were inside but I can't wait to come back!!!! read more

Never got a chance to eat here so I can't rate the food but the HOURS POSTED ARE WRONG. it says they are open till 2am. We arrived at 12 am and were turned away. Call first!! read more

The food was great and the sangria was even better. We were waiting for others to join us and there was no push or rush to have us order our food. It was a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Outdoor seating as well. Waiter, hostess and other guests were all friendly. Can't wait to get back there again. read more

I'm not buying any of these reviews saying the food is not awesome. If you are looking for thin, delicious brick oven pizza, this is THE place to go. I love what they did what the place, even being a big fan of the previous occupant (Trinity), but it's a totally different vibe and I love it! They even got my five year old to eat their delicious meatballs! Drink menu is fantastic! We go all the time with friends, everyone loves it. read more

The Old Glory and Vodka pizza are excellent. The Bingo is NOT. The caller was soooo loud. Killed the atmosphere for us inside. Moved to eat outside, but this afternoon was dark, cold, and dreary for outside dining. We would come back, but call first to make sure there was no Bingo. read more

Good service, nice atmosphere. Menu is a little small but what is there is always executed perfectly.

went here on a Thursday night. not too busy got seated right away. no one came over to us once we sat down. the hostess walked past us several times and must have seen us there not being helped.there were other servers around us but no one even acknowledged us. after a few minutes of being ignored we left. went across the street to the diner. read more

Great food. Great drinks. Diane is awesome. Friendly, funny and fantastic !!! Worth the trip !

Updating my previous 5 Star Review, because I continue to be amazed by the awesome new menu items Old Glory keeps putting out. Last week I stopped by for Happy Hour, and ended up staying for dinner. The new crabby Mac was awesome. My friend had a Millennial Pie which looked so good I had to get one to go. I was amazed when I was told that by purchasing one Pie to go, I got another one free. Really incredible stuff! read more

Old Glory was recommended to us by a local realtor. The restaurant is a converted church with two indoor levels and outside seating including outside bar. The renovations were tastefully done and includes a signature coal fired pizza oven. Everything about Old Glory screams casual, relaxing and fun. Service was very attentive. Ryan our main waiter was a great host. He was backed up by additional Old Glory staff working effectively as as team. Today we shared a few excellent pizzas and and order of speciality wings. The drinks were generous and creative and plenty of regular and craft beers on tap and bottles. Check out the weekday specials and happy hour. Free convenient parking is available in the adjacent municipal lot. Before or after you eat, you can walk to several antique shops and the renovated waterfront park area. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

Amazing food, service and unique atmosphere! Pizza is awesome and so are the wings! Check it out, surely won't disappoint!

My family and I have been going here since it opened and we love it! It has an inviting atmosphere which creates a sense of community, especially with the picnic tables. The entire staff is not only friendly, but efficient and accommodating. The manager is very personable and goes out of his way to personally ensure you have a wonderful experience. You cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas. Between my family and I we have tried them all - they're all so good it's hard to pick a favorite! You will not find a better place with a better food quality and prices! Also the quantity is enormous! 10 out of 10 would recommend. read more

Very friendly staff, food was great. Very cool decor and atmosphere. Definitely will visit again. Owners on the floor going table to table and wait staff on point. Can't wait to come back during warm weather so we can dine on their outdoor deck or patio. Very pleased with out experience. Ask for Capri! read more

2 time here, love the craft beer, pizza, and awesome French dip. The atmosphere is an old church and it is nice to be surrounded by the earthiness of natural materials. Will be back, a very good casual restaurant with an interesting menu. read more

Went to Old Glory last night for a work happy hour and was extremely disappointed. Sat upstairs at a large table (of 10 people) for quite sometime and did not receive any waiter service. A friend that i was with, after waiting for 20 minutes or so, had to go downstairs to speak to the manager and ask if we could get a server to order food. The bartender seemed as though she had no experience at all, and the drinks that we ordered she had to go downstairs and leave the bar to get. Her friend came in to visit and she was paying attention to her, rather than the customers. Apparently they did not have their grand opening as of yet, and was using that as an excuse that they were under staffed. The food was great though! Had the stuffed meatballs, calamari, and pizza, which were all great. This could be a great new place that I would frequent often if they would just step up their service. read more

Inconsistant. Been here a few times, and the food is usually pretty good. However, on my last visit, I ordered a salad with steak. I requested it med-rare. The steak was completely over cooked. Pretty disappointed. read more

I'm definitely going to come back because it has potential. The positives: really great atmosphere, all staff I interacted with were very friendly, the craft beer list was great, bottles of water on the table. Food was okay but I will try again. I had the pizza oven clams and one of the clams was bad. I have eaten thousands of clams my entire life it is one of my favorite foods so I know what I am talking about. Two of the clams did not open, anyone who has cooked clams know they should have tossed those out. The pizza was below average. The middle was soggy despite they claim they have a 900 degree pizza oven. If you like the pizza sauce you will be happier than me. I thought the sauce was below average, my wife said it tasted like chef boyardee. This is an honest review, but don't let this scare you away. Give it a shot. I will be back and try other food on the menu. read more

I wanted this place to be something it isn't. This place is all about the atmosphere. Its a good gorgeous spot built in an old church. There's a main bar and dining space, an upstairs with a patio. And recently added, there's a speakeasy in the basement. There was a 2-piece band last time we went which was a nice surprise. The drinks were fine. I had some local NJ craft beer. I was disappointed when my beer choice was referred to as "seasonal" and no longer offered yet it was still on the menu by the server when I know this isn't a seasonal beer. I am after a legitimate craft beer experience when promised one and will accept nothing less. The food was blah. I visited this place 3 times but i doubt I'll be back for dinner. Maybe lunch. The Carton Boat was poured nice and tasted fresh. read more

We had a wonderful dinner here tonight! The food was incredible and I'm already looking forward to eating the leftovers! Our waiter, Ryan, was able to give us great guidance on the food and drinks during our visit and we loved everything that was recommended! My husband and I live nearby and were very interested in checking out Old Glory when it opened. We had reservations as to whether we would like it or not because we really loved the charm of the building before it was renovated by the new owners. Old Glory now has a modern/industrial style, but kept some remnants of the original charm such as the steeple and cast iron railings. The new vibe is youthful and trendy and attracts a crowd that mirrors that image. When we arrived on a Saturday evening, it was very lively. We were able to snag two seats at the upstairs bar and the bartender was very attentive and polite. The food menu and beer selection were great! We ended up ordering two pizzas to go after having a drink. The pizza was extremely tasty (although it should have been cooked a bit longer as it was kind of mushy). This is a kink I am sure will work itself out as this is a brand new business. We look forward to going back and trying other things, especially when the weather is nice and we can take advantage of all the outdoor seating!! read more

Fantastic place the food, staff & atmosphere! Always a great time. My sister had her son's college graduation party there a few weeks ago it was great! Had the BBQ chicken sandwich. It was ok. The wings were very fatty and not worth the price. My wife's chicken parm sandwich was huge and pretty good. They only had 1 server outside which made for slow service. read more

The atmosphere is great and the items on the menu was carefully thought out. I left there saying I can't wait to come back and try other menu items. Highly recommend this place. read more

We started with the loaded meatballs, which were delicious. My husband had the braised short ribs, which were really good, and I had the Old Bay crab cakes, which were huge and tasted great.
