At the time I was a little upset, given the situation with a sudden death but I understand that a policy is a policy. Do I sound Bi-polar yet? No, I can just give props to a good place when needed. I also believe that one bad experience should not be held accountable for the entire business. I went to my rescheduled appt and had Ben Wight do my tattoo at their new location in High Falls (which is awesome btw). He did an amazing job. So friendly and personable and his artwork is great! Well worth the wait! The entire staff was nice nice and friendly, including the receptionist. Can't wait to back for more work. Ben did a wonderful flower tattoo for me that is in honor of my grandmother that I will forever be grateful for! I will post a pic now and then another one once it heals! So happy with the results! Great work!

My review is for the artist Shannon McCauley at this location, as I have only been tattooed by this…read moreartist at this shop. I started following Shannon last year on Instagram when she first started drawing flash and dreaming of starting to tattoo. Her work was colorful, true to the Traditional style and yet somewhat whimsical. Once she started apprenticing, I kept an eye on her progress, hoping she would advance enough where I'd feel comfortable letting her tattoo me. Last year over the summer, her skill had really started to develop and take off and when she was having holiday specials this past December, I decided to take her up on a sitting. Shannon was professional, friendly, and transparent about the process. She reworked the chosen flash quickly and even customized it with some text at no additional charge. She did well getting the stencil on quickly and efficiently. While in the chair, Shannon let me lead the way in conversation, it seemed she was really perceptive to whether me as a new client was a little of an introvert (and well, nervous for meeting someone offline for the first time), but by twenty minutes in, we had established such a friendly rapport, it was like hanging out with a friend. The tattoo was sufficient for someone who is still developing her skill, and Shannon is very much transparent with this information, and prices her pieces accordingly. After three months, the tattoo is still bold, without any significant muddling or blowout. I'd consider myself a tattoo collector of sorts. I've been tattooed by some of the US's leading industry professionals and know the culture pretty well, and Shannon is definitely a like minded individual. If you're looking to expand your tattoo collection, at reasonable prices with a talented and developing artist, Shannon is the one you need to be contacting.

If I could give more stars I would!!! Our experiences with Andie over the years have been nothing…read moreshort of incredible. Back in 2024, when my middle daughter was about to turn 8, we went to Andie for her first ear piercing. As my daughter's nerves grew, Andie's patience somehow doubled. She coached her through one lobe, and when my daughter decided she wasn't ready for the second, Andie didn't push -- she supported her wholeheartedly and celebrated her choice to wait. Fast forward to last week: my other two daughters decided they wanted their ears pierced as well. We went back to Andie, and she guided my oldest through double piercings and gently worked with my youngest, who needed a little extra time and confidence. We returned the next day, and she did it! Then came my middle daughter -- the one who had only one lobe pierced since 2024. Seeing her sisters succeed gave her the courage to try again. After an hour and a half of pep talks during one visit, and then another 2 1/2 hours during our most recent appointment, she finally became a two‑earring girl! Andie was right there with us the entire journey -- patient, encouraging, emotionally invested, and truly cheering her on. She was nearly in tears with pride, just like I was. You can see that this isn't just a job for Andie. She pours her heart and soul into every single person she works with. She cares deeply, she loves what she does, and she strives for absolute excellence in every interaction. I would recommend Andie to ANYONE. You will not be disappointed -- she is one of a kind!

Or am I aging myself?). Dorje Adornments is BY FAR one of the best experiences I've ever had - if not THE best, honestly. From the time you make your appointment until the time you walk out the studio door after your appointment is complete, the level of service-mindedness, attentiveness, and overall care is top notch. The staff are ALL amazing (special shoutouts to Jack, who helped me pick out all my jewelry before my appointment began, and Lynda, who chatted with me about jewelry before my appointment and also helped me at the desk after the completion of my piercings). Due to a scheduling conflict with the piercer I previously selected on a whim, I ended up working with Nick (the owner) on my piercings themselves, and he just made me feel so cared for throughout my entire experience, kept me incredibly well informed throughout the process and in discussions about aftercare, and was just so lovely and relatable and delightful to talk to. I told him that the vibe in his shop was just *amazing* and I 100% meant it... and clearly, I'm not the only one. There's even a sparkly little sticker on the checkout table that says "the vibes are immaculate". They really are! I'm so in love with my new piercings (2 helix & 1 forward helix) and plan to return to Dorje in about 3 months to get the posts adjusted. I won't be surprised if I end up purchasing a new jewelry piece or two at the time of that next visit either... their jewelry selection is stunning. TL;DR The staff, the experience, the cleanliness/design of the studio itself. The vibes are truly immaculate. Definitely my go-to piercing studio from now on.
