I went to my rescheduled appt and had Ben Wight do my tattoo at their new location in High Falls (which is awesome btw). He did an amazing job. So friendly and personable and his artwork is great! Well worth the wait! The entire staff was nice nice and friendly, including the receptionist. Can't wait to back for more work. Her work was colorful, true to the Traditional style and yet somewhat whimsical. Once she started apprenticing, I kept an eye on her progress, hoping she would advance enough where I'd feel comfortable letting her tattoo me. Last year over the summer, her skill had really started to develop and take off and when she was having holiday specials this past December, I decided to take her up on a sitting. Shannon was professional, friendly, and transparent about the process. She reworked the chosen flash quickly and even customized it with some text at no additional charge. She did well getting the stencil on quickly and efficiently. While in the chair, Shannon let me lead the way in conversation, it seemed she was really perceptive to whether me as a new client was a little of an introvert (and well, nervous for meeting someone offline for the first time), but by twenty minutes in, we had established such a friendly rapport, it was like hanging out with a friend. The tattoo was sufficient for someone who is still developing her skill, and Shannon is very much transparent with this information, and prices her pieces accordingly. After three months, the tattoo is still bold, without any significant muddling or blowout. I'd consider myself a tattoo collector of sorts. I've been tattooed by some of the US's leading industry professionals and know the culture pretty well, and Shannon is definitely a like minded individual. Fast forward to last week: my other two daughters decided they wanted their ears pierced as well. We went back to Andie, and she guided my oldest through double piercings and gently worked with my youngest, who needed a little extra time and confidence. We returned the next day, and she did it! Then came my middle daughter -- the one who had only one lobe pierced since 2024. Seeing her sisters succeed gave her the courage to try again. After an hour and a half of pep talks during one visit, and then another 2 1/2 hours during our most recent appointment, she finally became a two‑earring girl! Andie was right there with us the entire journey -- patient, encouraging, emotionally invested, and truly cheering her on. She was nearly in tears with pride, just like I was. It is appointment only with deposit which means they only take clients who are reliable and that care. The shop is safe when it comes to leaving the door locked and they will only open it when you let them know you have arrived. Got a piercing done in Feb but noticed it was crooked when I got home, emailed my piecer Noah, and we immediately made an appointment to get it removed. We waited two weeks and I came back in March- got it re-pierced for free, no issue. That is exactly how you'd want a place to fix the situation. The place is also very clean and organized and taken care of in a professional manner- at least as far as i have observed.
