At the time I was a little upset, given the situation with a sudden death but I understand that a policy is a policy. Do I sound Bi-polar yet? No, I can just give props to a good place when needed. I also believe that one bad experience should not be held accountable for the entire business. I went to my rescheduled appt and had Ben Wight do my tattoo at their new location in High Falls (which is awesome btw). He did an amazing job. So friendly and personable and his artwork is great! Well worth the wait! The entire staff was nice nice and friendly, including the receptionist. Can't wait to back for more work. Ben did a wonderful flower tattoo for me that is in honor of my grandmother that I will forever be grateful for! I will post a pic now and then another one once it heals! So happy with the results! I requested a stem be added to an existing sunflower with the stem subtly including a name. The…read morestem came out ok, he totally blew off trying to add the name subtly into the stem, it's totally separate. The leaves on the stem are ok. He decided he needed to suggest I have him re-outline the existing sunflower so 'it looked like it was all together'. Ok, I guess there's something to that, he called the flower 'old' I explained it was only 1 year old. Overall the work is acceptable however then he hit me with a $250 fee, for something that should have cost no more than $150. I was shocked but it was too late, right? Then rather than have proper fitting lidocaine bandages to cover the work, he put a bunch of smaller patches on it. By the time I got home, one whole leaf (he only added 2 leaves) was already uncovered. I understand a walk in tattoo place is 'convenient' and may not be top shelf, but this was very less than. If the price had been fair, it would have been understood. I was asking for a stem and a name, no one could mess that up, walk in or not. The flower I had added onto which was much larger than the work he did, only cost me $175. This place was over priced for the quality and after care. And you had to pay in cash. bs The pictures they post as their work on the website are very obviously not their work. I think they got the pictures from a book they have on their coffee table.
