They're all sweethearts and I appreciate how they are honest on the reality of some piercings especially the ones that are more prone to rejection or anatomy dependent. I've been going here for about a year now and will definitely keep coming and would 100% recommend this shop to anyone wanting to get pierced. They also have gold jewelry which I greatly appreciate as I am a gold girly and it's hard finding gold jewelry at other shops. I took my granddaughter to get a second ear piercing today. We got there a few minutes after it opened, and it was already very busy. I put her name on the list and sat down. It was a fairly lengthy wait, but hey, they were busy. They were busy for a reason. They called me up, took my i.d. had her look at the earrings they had available, and I signed the waiver? or permission to pierce paper. We were told they were sanitizing the, and we'd be called back. There was one person in front of us, which took hardly any time at all. I think the piercer's name was Christine (?). She was super nice, quick, and efficient. job getting my granddaughter's nerves calmed. She was at ease almost right away. I'd recommend Pink Armadillo and HAVE. I took my 12 year old in for a nostril piercing. We went a little before 5, knowing they stopped services at 5 on Sunday. We live about 40 minutes from there and don't get out there often. Courtney was wonderful! There were 3 piercings ahead of us. We appreciate her doing it after a long day. She made my 12 year old very comfortable, and it was fine quickly. She sanitized and wore protective equipment. I'm sure that's regulation, but it's nice to see that it's standard practice. I 100% would recommend Pink Armadillo and have. if I could do 0 stars I would! the man piercer is very rough and could not fully pierce my ear and then just shoved the jewelry through the remaining skin that was left. My ear has recently got infected and I had to take the piercing out, due to the fact that the piercer did not take the time to recommend what to use to clean it. this has also happened to a friend of mine where her belly button piercing was never able to fully heal and she was also not informed of their recommendation to keep it clean. I also called it and asked about the piercing because I was experiencing keloids, I have had two since I got them and they told me to come in. once again they did not take time to explain how to get rid of them. yet today I called because the experience I had with this place was awful, and the lady over the phone was not helpful at all. overall the staff was rude and the experience was horrible, I will not be going back and I don't recommend it. read more

I went in for snakebites. For starters. The guy used the same needle. He didn't open a new one. And it got infected later that day. When I called to ask if he can take it out for me. He immediately started to argue and say that it's supposed to swell. Which I understand it's going to. But my doctors papers literally say it's infected and it's rubbing against my gums and it's tearing them apart. He refused to listen to me. Only 1 piercer there, and he uses the same needle. Not good. Don't ever go here for multiple piercings. The same needle will be used. read more

I just received my second tattoo from Pink Armadillo. About 2 years ago I went in to have a 21-year old (small) ankle tattoo recolored after it had faded over time. The tattoo was of a small purple fish. Totally basic. The artist took liberties (which I was fine with) and gave it a little more life, a little blue color for water and some air bubbles. At the same time, I had 3 small stars tattooed on the top of my foot. Great experience, a little pricey based on comparable services other friends received at similar shops, but I was happy. They healed well, and they did a great job. Last week I went back and had a new tattoo done inside my wrist, of my mom's signature. Nicole was my tattoo artist. I brought a copy of the signature. She scanned it, applied it to my wrist and we agreed on the best positioning, and I was done in probably 15 minutes. She was very nice, did a nice job, and it has healed well after only a week. I haven't been in many tattoo shops at all, and most people are shocked to find out I have one tattoo, let alone three tattoos. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly, and I was happy. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I went to Pink Armadillo for a Tragus piercing on June 21st. Several days later it got very swollen, I had been cleaning it 3x a day (like they told me, with the materials they recommend) and started to ice it in hopes that the swelling would go down. It got to the point where my mother had to remove the piecing while I was screaming and crying (luckily she worked in surgery and had the skill to remove it, the stud was almost engulfed by my swollen ear) When we called the owner about it, he ignored us until August 1st (today). I wasn't initially going to write this review but I feel that I have to warn everyone. He was VERY rude and claims that "once customers leave the shop, Pink Armadillo is NOT responsible for what happens afterward". Therefore, not only did his daughter (my piercer) provide AWFUL service but he doesn't feel the need to write the wrong he caused me. I had talked to a different piercer that works there who said that none of the piercers were properly trained and the use the wrong materials... and the reason my ear had swelled so bad was because they used a material with nickel in it and I am allergic to nickel. They had failed to warn me, even though I told them I had very sensitive ears and was allergic to nickel. Long story short, NEVER get pierced here, bad service and even worse manners. Terribly disappointed!! This shop use to be my favorite and in my opinion was one the best shops around! I went in today just for a quick nose piercing, but quickly felt extremely uncomfortable with Craig (unfortunately Craig is the only person who does piercings in this shop) . Craig seemed extremely annoyed with any questions I had pertaining to the nose piercing, spoke to me in such a condescending tone, refused to give me any helpful information about different nose hoops I could put in my nose, and even threw 3 pieces of jewelry down on the counter at me. I was completely shocked by his behavior, he's been my favorite and only piercer. It's honestly sad to say, but clearly Craig has completely lost passion and enthusiasm for his so called "career". I said I was going to give my review about this place and it's not going to be pretty. I went there to get my other tragus pierced with one of my friends who came into town. My cousin went there for her piercing and said she had no issues and they were cheaper compared to other places. With that being said, 'you definitely get what you pay for'. The place was clean, workers were polite, and getting the piercing done wasn't terrible. Okay the pros stop there. The latter was definitely different. My friend asked me if the piercer guy told me how to clean my tragus, my answer was "no" he said verbatim, "clean it the same exact way you did your other tragus". I'm thinking to myself, what if I forgot, I got it done forever ago. I asked my friend if he gave her any directions being that this was her first piercing, he told her nothing at all. We just ignored it and went to the store to load up on all the supplies to keep it sanitized. I took care of this piercing like my last one but it just wouldn't heal, it kept swelling up, keloiding, and just wasn't a good experience. I finally went to my original place, Physical Graffiti and the employee had to take it out and told me to let it heal. She said it could have been cheap steel and was never going to heal properly if I didn't remove it. What a waste of money. I endured the pain for about 4 months and finally just had to get rid of it. My friend wasn't so lucky. She had to go to emergency and get it cut out and put on antibiotics for a week. My cousin had to get hers taken out because of some type of allergic reaction. I understand if I was the only one who just had this mishap, but two other people I know that went there had issues too..I smell a conspiracy. I just can't fathom the idea of ever going back here and enduring a horrific ending afterwards. read more

Really disappointed. I stopped in because my son was going to cancel his appointment. I figured since I had three tattoos that I wanted to get done, I would take his appointment so the individual did not lose money on the booking. The artist was not in when I stopped so another artist took pictures and I explained what I was looking for and told him that I would be specifically having to take the afternoon off of work so I wanted to make sure the artist had no questions and was told he would contact me. Today was the day for the appointment and as of right now, I still have not received a call. Glad I did not take the day off of work and too bad that the artist lost out on time. I came here to get my belly button pierced after my 2 friends did about a week before. After about a month it had not healed at all despite me cleaning it multiple times a day. It felt like the jewelry was pushing out of my skin. i eventually had to have my mom take it out with pliers. the same exact thing happened to 2 of my other friends who got their belly buttons pierced here. my friend later went to any other pierced and they said that when it was done it was put in to high, to shallow, and the jewelry was way to heavy. not only do they not know how to do piercings but my friend came here to get a tattoo and after a few months the tattoo started to fade and smear. she went to a different tattoo shop to get it fixed and they told her that the tattoo didn't even go all the way through her skin. 1.) whoever did my nipples fucked that up. pierced my areola, not my nipple. 2.) they had lost my ID, yes you read that correctly, LOST my ID within the same 15 - 20 minute time span that they took it initially to verify my age, took my money, did the piercing, and had me depart after said piercing. Then they did not pay for it after they fucked that up too. I should have written this review when i got the piercing done awhile back because i didn't wanna cause any trouble but after hearing my friends bad experience with this shop (they ended up in the hospital) I cannot let my story go unheard. be careful dealing here. from what i hear the owner is a good enough guy but with my experience, i cannot happily support them the positive way id like too and now we are here. apologizes in advance read more
