I happened to get here the first time because my usual pub, a few minutes away, was fully packed for a big rugby match. The atmosphere was pretty welcoming and relaxed, the TV screen are quite dated, making it a fantastic venue for those not too interested in watching a bunch of guys running for a ball or, even worse, trying to hit it with a bat. Since then, this became our regular place with true customers and a guaranteed seat (hopefully this review will end up among the non-recommended ones).

There were about 12 of us so we tried pretty much everything. All very good. Special shout out to Percy, the best bartender. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, and did a great job taking care of our large group. He knew his drinks and helped us navigate the menu. Give that man a raise! Excellent experience. We will definitely be back. I recommend this for family nights out and also large group gatherings.

We ordered a bottle of rosé which turned out to be Portuguese Esporão and a nacho platter to share. I was a bit sceptical about pub food before ordering, but surprisingly it was really good. Nachos platter is large enough for sharing as it comes with a lot of cheese on top. Later in the evening it gets busier as the DJ starts playing his set. To conclude, it's a nice place to go on a night out in Putney ;)
