A decent experience would best describe this cool establishment. You can sit upstairs if you want a more intimate setting or be right in the thick of things downstairs. The food was decent we ordered the Favourites Platter. The burgers didn't have flavor, the fish and chips were pretty solid, the chicken wings were cooked perfectly but still left something to be desired in the flavor department.

Stopped in for a quick pint while waiting to be seated to have dinner at Nando's. Nice pub, friendly bartender and prices were reasonable. Standard English Pub with dark wood tables, seating and nice selection of craft beers. Appears to be a local favorite since we were there in the middle of the afternoon and already a small crowd was building outside.

Located equidistant between Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, this popular sophisticated pub is always packed after work and at the weekend. Located in central london so the prices are as expected, quite high and the clientele ranges from tourists, shop assistants, business men and women and students. It consists of two floor, the ground floor being the bar area with wooden floors and high tables and stools, people standing and sitting around drinking and chatting. Whereas upstairs is a more traditional set-up with carpeted flooring, tables and chairs and an old wooden pub bar. The windows give a view out over the streets making the room feel light and airy. The food is very standard - sandwiches, sausage and mash, chips etc. Not somewhere I would go to eat but if you need a nibble or a quick bite it is convenient.

I've decided to mark this place down as the Vine Street pub, namely because Vine Street is basically a back alley with absolutely nothing on it. Anyway, enough of that because I should be writing about the pub as opposed to the fact that this is the closest pub to Vine Street. Well, the Glassblower is basically your typical English Pub, and a fairly small one at that. Okay, it does have two levels, with the dining area upstairs. It is actually quite a small place, but rather homely as well. In fact I didn't mind this pub at all, even though there wasn't all that much about it that made it stand out from the other pubs in the area. Okay, I wouldn't be in any hurry to rush back here, but it isn't a bad one nonetheless.

Great bar-horrible food Pub had a hop on. Many people outside. Ate upstairs. Slow but very polite service. Food is edible but sub-par. Have a drink but keep walking for food

Its a Pub! Inside its cosy, Visitors in all ages, Menues are easy, but tasty. Price ok, staff friendly. They offer starters for two, menues and a big range of beer.

Nice little pub, but unfortunately the food wasn't that great. We ordered the pubs favourite dish the "The Ultimate Fish&Chips" it was described as fresh filet of cod with chips and garden peas with Tatar sauce. The fish was nice fresh, but lacked seasoning, the chips were cold. Even thought the fish was piping hot. The Tatar sauce was not homemade but was from a jar. Overall decent size of a dish. The staff was friendly and took time in explaining the dishes to customers.

Remarkable, he scored and I literally walked around the corner and saw the long line to get into the pub first. I was seated immediately, however, and proceeded to enjoy a traditional Sunday Roast. Room was very pleasant (there are so many I got lost returning to my table from a bio brake. Roast was very good ( but no Lawry's) and the sides excellent. Could not decide if my favorite was the roast potatoes (crispy outside soft inside) or the glazed carrots. Yorkshire pudding was good but again, I am to used to the Lawry's and this is a different style. Peas were, well, peas, but very fresh. The sticky toffee cake was excellent and the Guinness fresh, creamy and a proper pour. Good thing because the selection of winners by the glass and half bottles of wine were both a little thin. Overall wine list was good but I was alone and not up for drinking a full bottle by myself. Overall, very enjoyable and to judge by the crowd and difficulty in getting a reservation, one of the more popular in town.

The history alone makes it worth visiting, and the location is perfect if you're exploring the area. It feels very classic London in the best way. We stopped in for a pint and honestly... the whole after-work beer culture over there is something I really need to bring back with me to the States. The beer was great, the atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming, and it just felt like one of those places where people naturally gather and stay awhile. Definitely worth stopping into if you're in the area.

Two story space - the ground floor feature the bar and handles walk in lunch; the upstairs is a dining room for those with reservations. Fun fact, as part of the history, the pub used to be the host of bare knuckle fights and had regulars like Charles Dickens. Wildfarmed sourdough - served with whipped salted butter and Guinness butter. Well toasted bread and the butters with salt were well made. Fuller's London Pride marinated steak and ale pie - served with seasonal veggies and red wine gravy, as well as either mash potatoes or triple cooked chips. If there is one dish London does really well, it's their pies. It was beautifully made and loaded with steak. The red wine gravy was decadent and added a perfect amount of moisture to the pie. Triple cooked chips were perfectly crispy but fluffy on the inside. Corn fed chicken breast - served with garlic and sage butter, mash potato, cavolo nero, and crispy onions. Only took a bite of this as it was my partner's dish but the bite of chicken I had was very juicy and well seasoned.
