Yeah, I might book a hotel in Santa Monica instead of the Jolly Roger in Marina del Rey (though it is eminently liveable). And I might plow through the Kohls shirts a bit more recklessly, instead of just waiting for the generous 40% clearance discounts. The place that everyone calls "Newport Mall" is not the perfect candidate for Yelp. Are you deciding between this mall and another? The food court offers several options that are quick and don't have Michelin stars but are more appealing than Chipotle. Dumpling Cafe is my favorite right now. My friends had to hang around JC for several hours while I was working and I told them they were in luck, that just beyond the office buildings was a giant mall. It's not perfect. I was fed up with movie theater talking and figured Babel at 10:40 on a Sunday night wouldn't be bad. Maybe only six people were in the house but half were on phones. But it is convenient, especially on a rainy day. Don't complain to me about the parking price since you can get here by PATH. But, tell you what, if you do wind up spending major $ in the garage, the Dumpling Cafe pork chop bowl is on me.

Heavy Indian influence. Lots of Kati rolls and dosas. Some good stores to keep kids entertained. J.C. Penney,Macy's, and Kohls. Some pretty good food options located just outside the mall too. When I got…read morehome and tried everything on, I realized one pair of shorts still had the security tag attached. The shorts also didn't fit, so I drove back to the store hoping to exchange them for a different size. I completely understand that stores have policies, and I respect the no-exchange policy. However, I paid in cash and wasn't informed of that policy at checkout, which made the situation a little confusing. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. Instead of trying to help or understand the issue, the employee I spoke with seemed to assume I wasn't being truthful about where or when I purchased the item. I was told that I may have bought it at another location, even though this was my first time ever visiting the store and I had purchased multiple items that day. The shorts still had the original tag and security device attached, showing they had never been worn. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--just hoping to exchange them for a size that fit after having to make an extra trip because the security tag had been left on. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What left a negative impression was feeling talked down to rather than treated like a valued customer. A little understanding and customer service would have gone a long way.

The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards is one of the prettiest malls I have been to. Not only is…read moreit immaculate but this multi level mall has everything and anything your little heart desires. From high end shops to affordable. The most expensive starting from the main level haha. It faces the Vessel which is a honeycomb structure that you can purchase tickets and climb. Well worth it as the views would be incredible. Hudson Yards is easy to get to by subway namely the 7 train as it lets you off practically at its doorstep. My tip is to wear comfy shoes and go hungry as you will not only get your steps in but have lots of food options from casual to sit down. Indeed something for everyone. There are just too too many stores to name but if you love to shop, like myself you will be bedazzled. Ahead of schedule, I went on their website so I could plan out my day. I was definitely blown away by all my favorite stores and then some. Additionally in my opinion it's the perfect place to be on extremely hot days and whenever there's rain. Or any time of year haha. Do not miss the lower level Mercado little Spain. Here you can have a small bite, a drink, a full on meal or a sweet treat if you like Spanish foods. You have got to check it out! If you are a shopper and a foodie, this is your place!!!

Fast forward to 2026 and they have a variety of eateries and specialty shops where you can find clothes, chocolates, and eyewear. The service in many of the sit-down eateries I've visited have been great! The quick service eateries are also good options to grab something on the go. You can visit this shopping mall and easily stay for several hours depending on what you're planning on doing. The stores and restaurants vary in price-range therefore it can be economical or expensive, depending on your specific visit. It's a great place to take out-of-towners who want to see something slightly different from the views of mid-town shopping centers.

Most of my visits here have actually been for that - business for one of my clients family attorney. Several floors up after getting clearance is a fancy suite where I'm sure high profile law meetings take place as it is extremely high end looking and assume the other floors look the same. In the main area is an extension of what Newark Penn Station is like, New York Penn as well with various shops to consider before you travel. From what I can tell it serves it's purpose. An upscale office building complete with security, an art gallery on the lower level but shops that offer passage to Downtown Newark and Newark Penn. There is a parking garage just outside of the building that I find handy in my visits here.

If you are traveling into Newark Penn Station, you can get to Mulberry Street (one block from Broad Street) through Gateway's skyway. On your way, you can get a coffee or a quick grab-and-go snack at one of the shops inside. There are two Dunkin' Donuts, two Subways, and a few non-big-chain eateries (Nagoyaka, City Beans, COTIDIANO, Metro Café, etc.). There are also a few convenience stores, a New York Sports Club, and the Gateway Project Spaces. You can also enter the Hilton Gateway from inside Gateway Center. Gateway is comprised of four corporate buildings (1, 2, 3, and 4 Gateway). Midday, office workers will flood the skyway getting lunch or heading outside during their break. On a Devils night, many fans use the Gateway to get to Prudential Center, which is on Mulberry Street. Again, the best thing about Gateway is its convenience. My only forewarning is - during off-peak times of the day - be alert. While there is security during the work week, security presence isn't as visible during the weekend. I had a bad experience where a homeless man grabbed my arm when I wouldn't give him money, and no one was around to help me. This isn't a common occurrence, but just be careful.
