All the staff are great and very attentive to my plans and needs for the evening. They all were great and we have no complaints what so ever. I would recommend this venue and the hotel. The original cast of Last of the Summer Wine often used to stay here and there are many pictures of them dotted about the place. We once enjoyed a pleasant weekend staying in the Rivelaux suite, named after Baron Wilson of Rievaulx (Harold Wilson, former prime minister, who was born in Huddersfield). The beds were just a tad hard for our taste, but that's all I could possibly complain about. Everything else was great, especially the free WLAN (Swisscom!), great room service food (delicious burger with proper chips) and a tasty breakfast with bacon, bangers, hash browns and all sorts of fruit, cereal and pastries. Excellent value for money, especially when comparing it to what we would have paid for three nights in a hotel back in Switzerland. :-) Service was very attentive and friendy. Now that we're back home we miss being asked if we wanted a poached egg in a Yorkshire accent. A very pleasant stay.
