Police called on me ....This is in ALAMOGORDO NEW MEXICO…read more NOT SF Heres the story .. got a text message that my prescription was ready ... i was in Las cruzes as my wife had a heart attack .. she was helicoptered there 3 days before ... it took me a hour and half after that to return home... When i went to pickup my prescription there were 5 people in front of me so waited another 38 minutes in line with only ONE lady to wait on all these people...there was 10 people behind me ..there was ONE person waiting on customers... then finally they opened the second window..waited on the man in front of me .. Then it was my turn ..was told i had to wait 30 minutes for the safe to be opened....i explained i got the text over 2 hours ago .. then the wait in line ..now its almost 3 hours since the text.... i was told to come back in a hour ..as there text messages mean nothing and if i didnt leave they were calling the police .. as i was leaving the store in the parking lot i was surrounded by FOUR police cars...Told to put my hands on the police car... they frisked me for weapons as the pharmacy manager said i threated her ...she never even came to the counter..and i never said anything other then i came for my meds.... they had 8 people behind their counter to help ..yet NONE did ..the store has great staff..but the pharmacy is a joke.. my advice is NEVER get anything there...Wamarts .. Walgreens are much better and customer oriented ... pharmacy manager ...short dark hair .glasses..told me NEVER to return as they dont need my business.. if you want to be frisked and almost arrested DO not complain about waiting ...they will call the police.. i was also warned i was tresspassed so if i return ..i d be arrested.. we used to spend close to 600.00 a month there.. Consider them a mini mini mini grocery store. Prices were very reasonable. Nice to know that you can go down and get actual veggies. They have the best fried burritos or jumbo corn dog or green chili burrito. I think it's the Allsup hot sauce thats really the magic. Stopped by there as i headed back to Pflugerville, Texas today to fulfill the Allsup order request. Walked out with $36 in fried burritos and chimichanga's And the sauce. I love the burritos, nostalgia, as i recall my younger days in Cali and spending time at the bowling ally where we bought fried burritos as well. Staff that work there are so nice to all.

They have been lovingly painted with scenes of the local town. Oh what an honor to be painted on a dumpster! The store is kinda gritty and dirty. The lights flicker on and off like some sort of zombie movie around here. The place does keep busy at all hours though. They sell most everything you need up in here. Beer, burritos, bubble gum- you name it- they got it. I'm not a big fan of Allsup's gas- it's only 86 octane and up to 10% ethanol. I don't want all that- it's like gas lite. The clerk was friendly and seemed happy to be there and was more than willing to assist.

This place is divided into two sections, one section is the store where you can buy various snack items, oils, and souvenirs. The other section has the bar, here you can enjoy various items such as their charcuterie board which is delicious or buy some bottles of wine to-go or to enjoy in store. The service is always friendly and they do have various specials/deals on certain days of the week. Although this place is a lot smaller than the one in ruidoso, it's still a very enjoyable place to stop by and share a bottle of wine with your favorite friend/relatives.
