This is a gem. These donuts are incredible. The service was good, it smells great in there, and I am stunned at how good the fritters and stuffed bearclaw/pillow things are (apple). read more

Saw the sign riding by and when I mentioned breakfast burritos my husband said ok let's go! While store was locked, drive through was open. Pretty decent line but worth the wait. Service was great and you could tell it was served and MADE with love. These burrito's took my hubby back to burritos in Texas made my Mexican grandmas. Especially the green chili & cheese. I loved the bean and the egg & cheese was great too. The little cups of salsa taste amazing. Now the sweets!...I like to see the display but no such luck. I tried a sampling off the menu, long John's A+, cake donut A+ then the glazed cinnamon bun very good... raised donuts were fine - prob above average but not my go to!! Will def come back if we are in Alamogordo again. read more

They are always out of certain ice cream every time I've tried to order. Always out of doughnuts also and always a long wait.

Come early to avoid lines & selling out - got a dozen assorted donuts & 2 beef/potato burritos. The breakfast burritos had sold out by the time we ordered. It's drive thru only - there were 7 or 8 cars ahead of us when we went. It's busy for a reason! Delicious food, good prices. I don't crave donuts regularly, but when I do, I'll be sure to come back here. read more

When we went they didn't have any of the fillings ready. The sausage rolls were good they just had alot of bread. You could only do drive through and definitely looks like they could fix some of it up a bit. read more

If food quality was the only consideration when reviewing food establishments, many restaraunts would still be around. The truth is, service and reliabilty is essential. Consistency being even more important when there are siginificant waits to order, especially when there is no ability to see products avaialbe to order. Daily Donuts has done it again. Made me wait in a drive through line, for 20 mins, with a hope of a lottery hit. The one day that i have decided to suffer the long lines because they have no inside service. But they have once again failed. Hoping that just because i waited in line, that i would accept whatever products they made available. Not going to happen, and not going to happen again. Im old enough to miss the previous daylight donuts. Since the new owners, we have lost a hallmark of our community. I hope the brand realizes the horrible representation this location is having on their name. read more

Best Donuts in New Mexico! Employee hooked us up with some extra goodies when we found out they were out of the fritter that I wanted most!! No wonder there are lines wrapped around the place! Will definitely come again when we come back to NM! read more

Driving through Alamogordo and found this place on Yelp so we decided to try it out. I cannot recommend this place enough. There were 3 cars in front of us and we only waited around 10 minutes to place our order and receive our food, but it gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted. The sausage and cheese kolaches are to DIE for! The cheese being inside of the sausage makes sure that the cheese doesn't overpower the amazing taste of the sausage. We collectively agreed as a family that the cinnamon rolls should be called cinnamon loafs because of how massive they are. They are also incredible. As people who come from a place where Krispy Kreme is worshipped and the only glazed donuts worth eating, the glazed donuts are incredible and honestly are better in all of our opinions. I'm not sure if this place is truly amazing or if Alabama has just been holding out on good breakfast food. Either way, I highly recommend this for your morning breakfast. read more

They are drive thru only as I'm guessing to not have people inside the shop, so expect there to be a line. We went at around 9:15 and we're waiting for about 15 minutes, but honestly with how amazing the donuts tasted and with how sweet the woman at the was handling payments at the window was, it was totally worth it! We got half a dozen of donuts for 5.50:) Side note: after eating another one(lol) the glazed donut reminded me of how the beignets at Disneyland taste! Just needs a little powdered sugar and it's basically the same! read more

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed coming here this morning. Right when you walk in the door, you are hit with the wonderful smell of freshly made donuts. We couldn't not get a dozen and some things were added in after our "dozen" was complete. First off, the glazed was AMAZING! The chocolate topped donut, AMAZING! (My husbands favorite). The maple topped donut AMAZING! It tasted like a pancake or waffle... to die for! The woman behind the counter was super nice and very welcoming. Husband got a coffee with cream and sugar - said it was a good cup of coffee! "I would get it again" Did I forget to mention they have a drive-thru? Yes my friends! The line was constant the entire time we were there. Absolutely outstanding. No wonder there is no Dunkin' Donuts here, it was miserably fail and then fail some more with Daylight Donuts in town! 10/10 100% Will be coming back for more, much much more. read more

Yelp, google, and the official daylight donuts website all show the store opening at 5:30 am. I showed up this morning, on a Friday at 7 am, and waited for 15 minutes, I was the 3rd car in line and it was clearly not open, nor did it look like it would open soon. I left and bought the large amount of donuts for the people I work with from Dunkin' Donuts with little problems there. I've had great experiences with daylight donuts in other locations, bummer this one won't the be the same. read more

Best donuts ever Love the bear claws maple jelly and breakfast burritos be shopping there for over 20 years. Never disappointed

Donuts are amazing but the wait is absurd. Expect to wait at least an hour. It's not because the donuts are that amazing that people have to wait forever for amazing donuts. The service is beyond slow. At least 10 minutes minimum per car in the drive thru line. For literally an avoidable reason. It just takes absolutely forever to run your card on their dial up machine. The one women who runs it all is very sweet and amazing she just refuses to get help. read more

This place is amazing. Best donuts in town, hands down. Best fluffy texture and crisp outer layer, exactly enough glaze (if applicable) and best specialty products. My faves are the bear claw and the pinecone, you won't be sorry but you might be painfully full if you don't share with a friend (or two). Absolutely the best service in town. They often have a line out of their parking lot and down the street (especially since the pandemic) and they keep it moving with alacrity and good cheer. Good coffee, great burritos and all the plain or spicy pigs-in-a-blanket you can eat (if you get there before they run out!) read more

I absolutely love Daylight Donuts!! I feel like every time I've come here, they're so nice!! The donut holes are amazing and my sister has an unnatural obsession over the beef and potato burritos. Omg!! I tried the green chile burrito for the first time (this is shocking cause I used to come here every morning in high school which was like 15 years ago), and wow!! If you like chile rellano, you'll love this burrito! I can't believe all the time I've wasted not eating the green chile burrito!!! Oh well, looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! OH, I almost forgot!!! The hours are wrong!! They close between 1 to 2... so coming here for lunch is TOTALLY fine! You're welcome! read more

Primo service and doughnuts. On the day I visited, it was drive though only. Service was prompt and courteous. I bought a dozen glazed. Of course he threw in the baker's dozen-13, plus several doughnut holes in the center of the doughnuts. The doughnuts were delicious. Highly recommend. read more

I had high expectations as there is always a long line here. I tried the bean and cheese burrito which was mesh, but it is also cheap, so it may be a draw. The raised donuts were very good...super tender inside and delicately crunchy on the outside. Cake donuts were ok. You can get a dozen donuts for $10. read more

Excellent, consistent customer service. Delicious menu with rock solid, consistent quality.

Best doughnuts in town, coffee is pretty good too. If you have an early morning meeting, this is the place to get the doughnuts! Always fast and friendly. If you're looking for something more substantial go with the Jalapeno 'Pig in a Blanket' Tasty, spicy and filling. The breakfast sandwiches are awesome too... read more

Love this place. I used to go here weekly when I lived here 30 years ago. Donuts are still great. Wonderful service too!

I will take the blame for going to a donut shop for a breakfast burritto. Unfortunately, we believed a previous reviewer's comments about their quality. We were shocked yesterday when we saw that the green chili burritos we were given were pre-made and small. There was supposed to be beef and another ingredient in them but all we had was green chile in a soggy tortilla that must have been left over from the previous day and then kept warm under a heating lamp. The chili was pleasantly hot but the missing ingredients and soggy tortilla made for a disappointing experience. Maybe we will try their donuts but right now, I doubt it. We were there at 8 am by the way. read more

Definitely one of the best donut shops ever! And not just in NM, but errrwhere. I used to come here quite often, which might be why I lost 10 lbs. shortly after moving away from here. Everyone seems to obsess about the burritos, but I think they are just okay. I love the donuts though! The chocolate bars, maple bars.. yaaas. It's relatively cheap as well. The only prob is the parking situation. The drive through gets super congested, but they are quick so you shouldn't be there long. During the morning rush, they have a ton of employees who are working hard to get the orders out. I come here every time I visit! So good! read more

Yum! Their donuts are delicious! Their donut holes are about $1.75 for a dozen. That's really inexpensive! They also have a drive through but I can't assure you that its faster than going inside. Most definitely try if you're in the neighborhood! The dislikes : Parking area is really small, so if you have a big car then be prepared to squeeze by. Breakfast Burritos were a bit disappointing :( I would say, do not purchase. read more

Waited 20 minutes for one car to get a order. service is slow I would recommend that you do not waste your time.

The BEST donut holes I've ever had. Slow customer service but you can't beat the price. We always ask for 1/2 a dozen and somehow end up with 7 donuts + donut holes. FOR $5!!! I don't care how long the line is, it's worth it! read more

Great donuts; light and fluffy. The breakfast burritos are grade A as well. If you're sensitive to spicy I don't recommend the green chili burrito but if you like spice and green chili they are amazing! read more

Donuts from this place were awesome! The glazed were probably the best glazed donuts I've ever had! Breakfast burrito was pretty good. Great drive-thru service. Good coffee. Great burritos. Amazing donuts. Worth the drive-thru wait!

Best donuts in town! Apple Fritter's are super good but they never make enough so get there EARLY in the morn'.

Dont live in Alamogordo anymore, but I sure do miss Daylight Donuts! The breakfast burritos I love so much!

Nice place. good simple donuts. Great dough recipe. Nice staff. I'd go back.

The donuts are all home made and the variety is pretty good too. They also have some other various breakfast pastries and breakfast burritos. If you haven't gone, you should. read more

Yep, I agree, probably the best donuts in town. Love me some apple fritters, and overall they're a pretty affordable place.

Great service. And I have never met a donut that I did not like, but the donuts here are worth stopping for.

The donut was pretty good, but the breakfast burrito was pretty small, even for the price. The sausage roll was a lot more roll than sausage, making the price not worth it. read more

Amazing doughnuts, Its the exact same business as Alamo Doughnuts, which is fine by me. Easy to make this place a bad habit due the doughnuts being so good. The burritos however are extremely sub-par. Enjoy. read more
