I also love that the tendies come with sides and sauce! The pink ranch was good. Buffalo sauce tasted identical to Frank's Red Hot. I was not a fan of the coleslaw, I think it is the type of mayo they used that caused a strange taste, but probably just a preference issue! Service was on point and attentive. The drinks are phenomenal and the staff is friendly! The menu offers a mix of unique cocktails (and can be made as mocktail a too) and small bites. Upon recommendation, I tried the F.W. Marg drink. So good! The most unique aspect is the watermelon ice cube. As it melts the drink flavor changes. Creative & fun way to enjoy a cocktail. The service is friendly, welcoming and casual. Great place to have just relax, and get pub grub. Nothing like simple fare from the kitchen. I had their bang bang shrimp, and burger. I would say, the former is better than the latter. It was a regular burger, tired, and dry. I was hoping for a real smash burger, but that did not happen. Here's the reason for the 4 stars. When you are done, just mosey over to the back of the restaurant, and you'll find a small cigar lounge, with a great bar serving top notch whisky and bourbons. If you are in town on business, and dining alone, and need to unwind with a cigar.. this would be the place.

We ended up being pleasantly surprised--and had a really enjoyable dinner. We started with the East Bank Fig Wraps, and absolutely loved them. The bacon was just smoky enough, and there was just enough honey to complement the goat cheese. Such a great combination of sweet, savory, and smoky. We shared the Au Jus in the Mood for Chicken, which is a half chicken served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, but the green beans were the real standout. They had just the right amount of crunch and were nicely flavored with garlic salt. Some of the best green beans we've had at a restaurant. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing, which we really appreciated. We initially thought we were going to miss out on the outdoor patio because it was being used for a private event. Luckily, we discovered they have another outdoor dining area downstairs, and the view from there was incredible--right along the river with a great view of the Hope Street Bridge. Overall, we were glad we gave 1330 on the River a try. The food exceeded our expectations, the service was good, and you really can't beat the waterfront setting. We'd happily come back.
