Dan & Troy were very responsive, showed up exactly when they said they would, and delivered a professional and thorough service. After laying out tarps to cover our flooring from any dust/soot, Dan was able to do a cleaning and scoping of the flue and chimney chase. Remember that 'really good thing'? Yeah, that was because the cleaning knocked loose a piece of fire clay that had been haphazardly applied up in an area of the chimney that we never would have seen. If it had not been for Dan's expertise, we could have lit a fire, thought we were enjoying a fire, and potentially caused an *actual* house fire. Yikes! These guys know the safety protocols, the building codes, and the benefits & drawbacks of using a fireplace in your home. The tech showed up 2 hours after the specified time, was extremely rude, and did nothing to solve the problem that was presented. At no time was a "service fee" discussed and I was under the impression that a free estimate would be given. However, upon providing absolutely zero services to address my problem (and not even having the correct tools to do so) we were harassed, berated, and yelled out for refusing to pay a fee that this tech believed he was entitled to. Additionally, my interior laundry area is left an utter mess, with the dryer vent totally disconnected from celling. Because of this disconnected hose, I can still see the massive amount of lint that were supposedly "cleaned out" (and was the quote on quote "service" that had been provided.
