If you want to get a war roof like me. Then hire Cass counCass County metals LLC. comes with…read morescratches, dents, and holes and will leave anyone amazed that it is brand new and hasn't been in a tornado. Jordan and Payton's Roofing Services (Cass county Metals LLC) regarding the substandard workmanship breach of contract, and misrepresentation about the roofing project conducted at my property. The project commenced on March 12th, and from the outset, there have been glaring issues with the quality of work and professionalism displayed by Jordan, Payton, and their crew. Throughout the project, the crew consistently arrived late, departed early, and displayed a general disregard for safety protocols, resulting in hazardous debris being left on the property. Despite assurances from Jordan and Payton regarding the timeline and quality of work, the project has been marred by delays, incomplete tasks, and a general lack of attention to detail. It is evident that the team either lacks the necessary expertise or does not prioritize quality workmanship. shields Specific issues include the failure to adhere to roofing standards, such as the absence of felt and ice and water shield, no installation of ridge vents, used old turtle vents which are not supposed to be used on a standing seam metal roof, and the reuse of damaged vents. The standing seam roof was installed over the existing asphalt shingle roofing which will void the manufacturer's paint warranty, The roof-to-wall flashing was installed on the outside of the siding. This will cause water to get under the metal roof system and will eventually damage the decking and interior of the home. The roof has vents and pipe jacks that comply with an asphalt roof system not standing seam. These vents and pipe jacks are top mounted to the standing seam roof panels which will cause massive leaks due to backwards water laps. The chimney and skylights are not flashed properly this will cause massive leaks in the future. The chimney is live stone and requires special materials to tie in with a standing seam roof system. The furnace pipe is top-mounted to the standing seam roof system, the furnace pipe is supposed to have a special high-temperature rubber boot that has a butyl flange to mount to the standing seam roof system. The roof has multiple dents and scratches all over the surface causing future paint failure and functionality of the roof system. Additionally, the flashing around the ridge vents and chimney is incorrect, posing potential hazards. The facia remains in a deplorable state, requiring immediate attention. Furthermore, Jordan and Payton's breach of contract regarding the placement of gutter guards at no additional cost and ambiguous timelines exacerbates the situation and payment. Despite repeated requests for proof of material orders and completion timelines, no satisfactory response has been provided. Given the extensive list of issues and the unanimous recommendation from multiple roofing companies against salvaging any part of the roof. I am left with taking them to court since they will not complete the roof for insurance to cover. Cass County Metals has not attempted to resolve this issue. These people know nothing about roofing. You will find it hard to find a worse roof than what I have.

I had loved working with this group over the years for quality gutter cleaning, but unfortunately…read moresomething must've shifted. My latest experience was just OK. The communication that had been so key early on had faded, and I honestly didn't know if we were on the schedule or had been completely punted. I had to follow up to ensure things were on track. It took multiple weeks to have someone out. I think it's because of the frequent rains throwing off the schedule, but again it felt my messages were sort of going to a void. They gave me about an hours notice when someone was coming out, and he did a really nice job. I was very surprised when I got the bill and it was $125 more than it's ever been in the past. Especially surprising because the email thread we had been going back and forth in had our prior invoice at $275, not at $400. When I asked what was up they cited that it took their employee three hours and my gutters were more clogged than before. To me, nothing has really changed, if anything we have had more trees trimmed back, and more importantly, I didn't know that would affect the cost so dramatically. It had been under a year and half since I last had them out. Had I known, I absolutely would've gone with a more reasonable option. I also felt like their response was a bit off-putting, and I'm surprised because again we've hired them at least three times and I've had such positive interactions up until now. I'll be looking elsewhere moving forward; they do a nice job, and are a professional enough company, but the lack of customer service and shockingly high bill will have me finding a new go-to for my annual gutter cleanings.

My fiancée allowed him access to the roof and grounds. The Rep checked the damage to the roof and siding of the house, garage and shed. Before leaving, the Rep collected my State Farm ("State Farm") insurance information and provided a copy of his initial proposal (the "Proposal"). The Rep advised that he'd contact State Farm and would return to meet the adjustor for the insurance assessment. My fiancée signed the Insurance Restoration Agreement allowing Brown Roofing to contact State Farm regarding the damage claim (the "Claim"), however, my fiancée did NOT sign the Proposal as he specifically requested a detailed estimate quantifying the materials, labor, and equipment needed to repair the roof and siding (the "Estimate"). NOTE: We requested the estimate as we were considering upgrading from shingles to a metal roof & possibly adding some additional upgrades. The Rep returned on June 7, 2018 to meet with the State Farm adjustor. After the adjustor's inspection, the Rep said he'd be in touch once State Farm reviewed/approved the Claim. My fiancée again requested the Rep provide an Estimate upon State Farm's approval of the Claim. State Farm approved the Claim on June 18, 2018. My fiancée called the Rep to follow-up on the Estimate and a timeline for the repairs, but did not receive a response. Several days later, two men arrived, unannounced, saying they were sub-contractors sent by the Rep to make a detailed estimation of the materials & labor for the repairs. My fiancée asked for a copy of this estimation. The men declined saying he'd have to speak with the Rep. The Rep showed up on July 11, 2018 to collect copies of State Farm's summary of coverage. Once again, my fiancée requested the detailed Estimate. The Rep stated that his Estimate was "whatever the insurance company will pay" for. A discussion ensued, during which my fiancée insisted that he wouldn't approve any work until he received the Estimate. The Rep again refused and further stated that we had signed Brown's Proposal (an untrue statement) and that we'd have to pay $2,000 as a penalty if we cancelled Brown's work. My fiancée informed the Rep that Brown Roofing's services were no longer required. I called the Brown Roofing phone number provided on the Proposal later that day. A young woman, who identified herself as the answering service, picked up the call. She took a message & my cell phone number as it was after office hours, and advised someone would return my call. I received no return call. I called the office again on July 18, 2018 to follow up. I spoke with a female who advised that I'd reached the Springfield. MO office, but they didn't handle matters in Forsyth, MO. She directed me to call the owner of Brown Roofing ("Owner"), directly as he oversees all projects in Forsyth. She provided his cell phone number. I called and left voicemail messages for the Owner on July 18th, 20th & 23rd. I never received a response. In the first 2 weeks of August, Brown Roofing had crews working on homes next door and behind my property. Numerous workers & company trucks drove by my house every day for nearly two weeks, but I never received a return call or visit in response. I mailed cancellation letters to the address on Brown's Proposal (which was returned as undeliverable) and the street address I located on the Missouri Secretary of State website. Although I have proof that letter was received, Brown's Roofing has never responded. NOTE: My back neighbor had the exact same experience. Specifically, that Brown's Roofing refused to provide an estimate of their proposed work. When my neighbor said, "No Estimate, no repairs." he was also threatened w/ a cancellation fee.
