It's a cute little bistro in the industrial area of Saint Clemente around some other restaurants, including a Starbucks around the corner. The staff was super friendly when I walked in, need to use the restroom and the restrooms were super clean, and then I ordered a burrito the way I like it made made a couple of adjustments extra meat less cheese and I ordered the ribeye burrito and it was fantastic. Great amount of flavor. Didn't require any salsa or anything to help enhance it. Juicy and just well-made. Their chips were fresh out of the oven or at least tasted like it still warm. Very impressed. This little place. I'll definitely be coming back. Deserves five stars plus

They had a nice dog friendly ground level area so we could bring our pup. We ordered their chicken tortilla soup, 1/2 pint of guac, and burrho de alambre! 10/10 for everything. The chicken tortilla soup as hearty and toasty, perfect for the cooler weather. The guac was exactly my style, not too salty, not too tart, and demolished in no time. My husband really enjoyed his burrito from the speiclas menu as well!

We still make it over here occasionally because we really love the outdoor seating, and Tony always makes the experience worth the trip. Tony remembers us and always makes us feel extra special when we're there. He knows we love extra salsa with our chips, so instead of making us ask for refills over and over, he brings us our own little bowl of salsa. It's a small thing, but that kind of attention really stands out. He's also just a funny guy and always makes our date nights a little more enjoyable. We ordered our usual chicken al pastor and filet mignon tacos, along with sides of rice and beans. Everything was delicious as usual. Puesto is also a great value when you keep it simple with tacos, chips, and sides. Definitely check out the Los Olivos location if you're in the area, especially if you can grab a spot outside. And if you get Tony as your server, you're in good hands!

Cons: pricey, but price alone isn't the con. Overly charred/burned proteins (especially the steak), the iberico Secreto not as bad. I actually enjoy the char on a steak, or proteins in general, but here, I'm not sure what the issue was. Is it the kind of wood/charcoal they use? Are they burning the steaks? Is the grill dirty? When I say the proteins were over charred, I mean that's all I tasted on the exterior, just burnt dirty ash. For a place of this caliber and price, I expect execution to be on point. Also everything was borderline too salty. Notes: I really wanted to like this place more than I did. This place was a bit of a letdown I'm sad to say. Factor in price and execution and I've gotta give this place 3/5.

My first time here. This restaurant is a true hidden gem in Corona, CA. From the moment I walked up, I knew I was in for a treat. I was welcomed by a wonderful lady who seated me as I waited for my 2 friends to arrive. This place was very clean, the ambience was nice, and the lighting was just right, as it was over 100 degrees that day. Our waiter gave us top-tier service, I felt like a celebrity. The food was full of flavor, not salty or too much seasoning, just filled with delicious flavor, and I savored every bit of it. I asked to meet the chef so that I could thank him for the tasty food that was served and for being part of my great experience. Everyone who was there made my day and I am thankful for this great food experience.

Could possibly be the fanciest restaurant in Corona, but the kicker is average plate is only around $25 including seafood plates. I had the fish tacos and they were splendid. So fresh and satisfying. The alcoholic drinks are on par. The only one thing not on par is their flan. They can do better on the condensed milk taste. I would say it tastes more like water, The rest of their desserts are tasty and fresh. Their staff is very attentive. Management helps out too. Enough room for large parties. I would make a reservation, but my party was over 30 people. I would not go on a hot day because the AC isn't the best during a heat wave. Free parking available outdoors but plentiful. If you're looking for great cocktails, amazing food, and an atmosphere that feels like home, Gabi's…read moreis the place. The biggest reason I keep coming back is the dynamic duo behind the bar, Horacio and Rudy. Horacio is a true gentleman who somehow remembers everyone's name. He's always welcoming, social, and full of great conversation. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel right at home. I always joke and call him "George Clooney" because he's smooth, classy, and knows how to make every guest feel special. Then there's Rudy, the "Mad Scientist" of the bar. He is a true mixologist who's always working on his next masterpiece. At this point, I don't even order specific drinks anymore. I just let Rudy take the wheel because everything he creates is incredible. Whether it's something from the cocktail menu or a custom creation, you simply can't go wrong. Honestly, I call ahead to see if they're working because when Horacio and Rudy are behind the bar together, the experience is on another level. Wednesday nights are usually my favorite because that's when I often find both of them working side by side. They bring incredible energy to the room and make every visit memorable. The food is just as impressive. The handmade tortillas are outstanding, the arrachera is always a great choice, the corn is delicious, and the house salsa is absolutely addictive. What I love most about Gabi's is that it isn't trying to be the next social media hot spot with overpriced food and drinks. It's a welcoming neighborhood restaurant filled with locals, great people, quality food, and expertly crafted cocktails. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a fun date night, or just want to sit at the bar and enjoy a well-made drink while meeting good people, this place delivers every time. If you read this review and decide to stop by, tell Horacio and Rudy that Albert sent you. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

She then offered us the "bar bench" and said we can still order food and drinks and would be able to move up to the bar when spots opened. I looked inside the restaurant and the tables outside and there was plenty of seating available in my opinion. I asked if we could just join the waitlist instead of sitting at the crowded bar, and we were told the waiter was 40 mins long. We said okay as we didn't mind waiting. Then as we sat on the curb to wait for an available table, the hostess came to us and said we could be sat at that moment but she NEEDED the table back by 7:30 for a reservation. We said no worries and got sat. The hostess emphasizes about 2 more times that we NEEDED to be done by 7:30pm. We kept an eye out the entire time for the empty tables near us to see if they'd get filled the time we were there and only about 2 tables did. The table behind us never did. About 15 mins after getting sat, the hostess came back and told us not to rush, but we already felt unwelcome/rushed as walk ins at that point. I understand the hostess was probably stressed with reservations, but we were the only walk in and there were plenty of tables available the 1 hour we were there. Mole enchiladas: The enchiladas were filled with just chicken. The chicken was dry and seemed to have been boiled with no seasoning. Wish there was some cheese or something added to the inside. The Mole sauce was good though! The platanos & rice paired very well. Frijoles Negros: we're bean lovers and ordered a side of refried black beans to share. It was more than enough The portions were pretty big (in my opinion) we each finished 1 enchilada, the rice & platanos, and half the beans.

Move 1 - I did deserve this move, I sat at a reserved table because I was tired of standing and when asked to move we did to a small tabletop with no reserve sign. Move 2 - The beautiful people arrived and we were asked to move again. (FYI - the beautiful people never used this tabletop) It's very late and knew the band was ending soon, so we went inside and found a table again with no reserve sign. Move 3 - We go out to dance and start to head back to where we were sitting and all our purses were gone! But guess who was at our table the beautiful people. I go up to ask where our purses are at and they send me to a pole, where they had moved over 10 purses. I was lucky my friend had picked up my purse, we found my other friends purse at a table all by itself! To management - 1. Don't ever touch a woman's purse, the song was maybe 3 minutes long you could have waited. 2. If you are stupid enough to move a purse, be apologetic and help us find our purses. Or offer to replace our drinks you tossed. I should not have had to ask. What if my friend needed her EpiPen? 3. Everyone in your establishment is a customer, we were buying drinks and food.
