The restaurant was very clean and updated. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It wasn't crowded when we got there but quickly filled up, so get there a little earlier than dinner time. Now to the food, I had the Diablo shrimp and was so, so good! If you like spicy this is definitely spicy so be ready for it, the waiter warned me haha- but I will definitely get it again. It also comes with rice and a small salad. Mom had the whole fried fish and it came with French fries and coleslaw. She loved the fish ( I did try it and would get it again). Lastly, my sister got the grouper seasoned in a brown butter sauce ( I can't remember the name of the sauce just know brown butter). It was just okay. She said she'd try it another way but not with that particular seasoning. We also had fresh margaritas which were very good.

Got there and hot seated fast. Then it took them a good 20 minutes to come take our order. When the…read morewaiter came he offered chips and guacamole but forgot to mention the guacamole was extra. Good thing I had already looked at the menu and noticed it was $9.00 U S dollars. Once the chips and salsa came, I ordered the fish of a platter with a side of salad and fries, the food was good. The homemade salsa was more like watered down ketchup with a hint of chili. It took a good 20 minutes to get the chips and salsa and another 25 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter never came to check on us. Just an older waiter that came to drop off the bill. Ambiance was not good. It felt more like a bar ambiance than a restaurant. The music was blaring. This could appease to someone wanting to go drink more than to go eat a tasty seafood meal.

Hubby & I had dinner here tonight. We wanted to try this place when we were here in Oct, but I…read morepicked Wednesday to try it & they are closed on Wednesday. We are so glad we got to try it. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. Hubby got a Michelada & added a shot of Tito's since there was no alcohol in the tomato juice part of the drink. He said it was really good. My sangria was good. It's made with pineapple juice. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. The refried beans were excellent! I don't know what they do, but the texture & flavor was the best we have ever had. I loved them. We will definitely make this place are go to when we come down again. Please note tips are cash only in case you don't carry cash!

I have Carlos V shrimp, something new for me. Such generous portions, you'll leave her 10lbs heavier. Allegedly they have dessert but too full to try. This place is really small, so if there's a big party you're SOL. We never leave PP without eating here, we love it so much

We originally found Restaurante Lolita while researching places to eat in Puerto Peñasco. We had…read moreactually seen a video about it on YouTube before our trip, and when we checked into our hotel, one of the employees also recommended this place for their buffet. So, of course, we had to give it a try! We tried a little bit of EVERYTHING, and there were so many options. They had pozole, picadillo, chicharrón en salsa verde, beans, rice, pancakes, and so much more. They also have an omelet station tucked into the corner. I completely missed it during our visit, but now that I know it's there, I'll definitely be checking it out next time! For our table, we decided to get just a little bit of everything so we could all taste the different dishes. I literally took about a spoonful of each of the meats and dishes because I wanted to try as much as possible. Everything we tried was delicious. They also bring handmade tortillas to the table, which is always a huge plus for me. They have aguas frescas available at the station as well -- jamaica, tamarindo, and an orange drink that reminded me of old-school Tang. And I have to talk about the desserts! I'm not really a dessert person because I don't like pastries that are overly sweet or sugary, but these were REALLY good. We got one piece of each and shared them around the table so everyone could try them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. The service was excellent, the restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The decor is really well done, and there's this gorgeous brick dome in the center with a beautiful chandelier that really adds to the whole aesthetic. It gives the restaurant a really nice, authentic feel. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience at Restaurante Lolita. Great variety, delicious food, handmade tortillas, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in Puerto Peñasco! I'll definitely be back and next time, I'm NOT missing that omelet station!

My daughter ordered the fish al mojo de ajo. Everything was wonderfully cooked. What a lovely family dinner, lucky for us there was no wait time. The food plus the ambiance makes it the perfect dinning experience. I decided to order their lemon Carlota desert . All 4 of us got to taste it and loved it. Everyone was right in recommending this restaurant. Will come back and encourage you to try it.

We chose El Meson after reading so many great reviews, but unfortunately our experience was very…read moredisappointing. We were 2 adults and 1 child. The restaurant had no AC, and it was extremely hot and humid inside. The fans didn't help, and we were all sweating the entire time. The homemade chips were greasy, very hard, and they only brought a tiny bowl of it. We ordered a meat platter, but the steak was overcooked. No one came to check on our table during the meal. In the end, we paid $157 for one meat platter for 2, french fries for the child, with no drinks since they don't serve alcohol. They don't accept credit cards and when paying cash they exchange rate 15 pesos for 1 US dollar which is lower than everywhere else. I am recommending you exchange the money before you go. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere did not match the excellent reviews we had read. We left disappointed and couldn't wait to leave because we were so uncomfortable.
