I'm glad I stumbled upon this place accidentally looking for a mattress. Quaint cute place. Korean hybrid food. They offer bibimbap, burritos, sushi, taco, like everything. It's good to see a small mom and pop type restaurant fill a niche taken up by several chains and do it better. We both went with Bibimbap. I had the bulgogi. I really liked the copper bowl and presentation. Everything was tasty, very fresh tasting and well prepared. Service was fast and friendly and the owners seemed to know many of the patrons. Simple Good vibes and food. Definitely check it out. The general area is pretty limited but Ole Ole stands out.

This new & cute restaurant in the Lansing Ithaca area serves contemporary Korean fusion street food. Friendly and fast service paired with really savory meal. Every one who came with me enjoyed their meal... the spicy pork along with the very fresh ingredients were soo good!! Not to be missed!!

    Beef rice bowl

Absolutely obsessed with this place. It was my first time here and the previous reviews are accurateeeeee. I got a beef rice bowl which was bursting with flavor, filling, and just perfect. The bowl had a combination of flavors and textures from the beef, rice, radish, kale, carrots, and lettuce. The bowl comes with a cup of soup which was delicious and felt like it warmed my soul. Oh you also get your own little bottle of yum yum sauce! The bowl didn't look too big at first but I actually ate until I was stuffed and had leftovers! If you're in the area, you've gotta stop by!

Olé Olé should get 5 stars just for the interior design! I really liked the coziness of the wood and the open shelves with trinkets and paintings really pull the place together. Their version of jeyuk bokeum is like spicy pulled pork rather than pork belly, but I like this version better. This version is also more like a fusion, with raw kale and carrots. When the hot rice absorbs the sauce and flavor from the pork, and you mix the pork with the veggies, it really all comes together. I liked their beef kiimbap, but I probably won't get it next time. It was good, but like a standard cheeseburger, it's takes a lot to make something that's generally good pop. Besides, I want to try some of their Korean Mexican fusion next time!

I suggest you get in here before the world discovers what a gem Olé Olé is! We've been twice in less than 24 hours. The name is a play on words, both mean something in Korean and Spanish, which, after the second visit, (duh) I realized is a clue as to the concept here. The menu has Mexican-Korean as well as regular Korean dishes. So, there are tacos, burritos and burrito bowls with fillings that are mostly Korean but with a Mexican twist. Vegetarian options are available instead of beef, shrimp or chicken: Delicious marinated, tender, umami-full, shiitake mushrooms are unlike anything I've ever had. Many items are served with a simple paper cup of soy-based broth, which in December feels comforting and elegant. I especially recommend the bibimbop, the banh mi sandwich, the chicken tacos and the Korean noodle salad. We also enjoyed the vegetable dumplings, fresh and delicate. Throughout the dishes there are Mexican-fusion surprises like a fresh cilantro-tomato pico de gallo and sliced avocado, a nice complement to the Korean flavors in the udon noodle salad, for instance. The menu is varied enough to be interesting but not overwhelming. Every dish we've tried so far has been pretty to look at and entirely wonderful. It's clear there's innovation and pride going into this food, and into the space, too. The restaurant itself is delightful and cheerfully decorated with kitchen items and artifacts on the walls. It's is impeccably clean with a mom and pop feel. I can't wait to go back to this charming new addition to the strip mall next to Tops! Going to Applebees to eat corporate same-old when Olé Olé is mere steps away would be a crime!

Perfect for what it is: fresh fast food, fairly priced. Clean, cute interior if you're staying.

The door is wide enough for a wheelchair or an extra wide rollator. The restroom has no grab bars, but is roomy enough for a wheelchair.

Fresh, filling, and tasty!! Everything I tried was delicious! Because everything is made to order it comes with your choice of slow cooked beef, sweet chili chicken, spicy pork, raw salmon, raw ahi tuna, marinated shiitake mushrooms, or avocado. They are very accommodating. While I was there another customer ordered the tacos with lettuce instead of tortillas.

    Spicy Pork Udon

Loved this place. First time here. Nice menu with lots of options. Had the Spicy Pork Udon. Broth was savory & flavorful, noodles cooked perfectly. Presentation was beautiful. Small "Korean street food" restaurant in the Tops Plaza. Order at the counter and they will call you when you're up! Pleasant friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try different items!

The beef hot pot is pretty good, so are the beef Yubu and ahi tuna Yubu. Price is reasonable and the place is clean. We think there is pork inside the veggie dumplings (not an issue with us but if you care you should confirm), and it tastes just fine anyway

Good Jajjangmyeon in Ithaca!…read more My parents recommended this spot to me- and they are very particular about their Asian food. They absolutely hated Kimchi. I finally got around to trying Asia Cuisine though must admit I was a bit hesitant given their extensive menu (I feel like if a restaurant offers too many types of cuisines the quality takes a hit). However, I was pleasantly surprised! I had been craving jajjangmyeon (I had it once at Koko's but it was not good) and ordered Asia Cuisine's C3 green tea noodle w jajang sauce. The noodles were delicious! Al dente and the slightest hint of green tea flavor! The jajang sauce was a tad oily and not super traditional, though I still enjoyed it- especially the addition of onions! Service was okay. Nothing exceptional. While I haven't tried any of their other menu items, I would recommend their green tea noodle jajjangmyeon!

Pretty straightforwardly named Asian cuisine. They offer a combination of Chinese Japanese and Korean food. I had a tasty Bulgogi bento box which had tempura, a California roll, japchae, salad with ginger, purple multigrain rice and of course the delicious bulgogi. It's a casual atmosphere with friendly service. We honestly walked in cause we overheard several people saying it was better than "this", "this", and "that". But honestly the aroma from the kitchen was enough to draw me in. Definitely tasty, fresh, well portioned and highly recommended.

It's one of those places where you need to know exactly what to get to have a good experience. If you want the perfect affordable meal for two people (they note two but honestly if your friend group is small backed like us, three might also do the trick), head on right over and try their casseroles. If you want to perfectly replicate our experience, try their Boo Dae Jeon Gol, better known as Korean army stew (for curious folks and my fellow food baddies, definitely check out this link about the history of this sexy dish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budae-jjigae#:~:text=It%20also%20goes%20by%20the,stew%2C%20and%20spicy%20sausage%20stew.&text=The%20dish%20has%20its%20origins,Korea%20was%20experiencing%20significant%20poverty. ) It's not a healthy meal for sure nor is this the best budae jigae I've ever had (quite bland for what it is) but omg, it's definitely THE ONE where you can have the most bang for the buck. They have an massive hotpot pan just for their casseroles. My friend and I, both very hungry college students, literally could not down this thing. The menu also mentioned to "share with my people" but perhaps it was a warning all along. The soju here is pretty expensive per bottle, which is a bit of a letdown. However, I do like their green grape soju and the specific brand that they have; it doesn't have that alcohol taste upfront, which is arguably dangerous. Will I willingly come back? Probably notttt, heh heh. There are better places out there to spend your money and time. Nothing about the food or the atmosphere really wowed me. It's just okay for a casual meal, but it didn't leave a lasting impression.
