My 12 year old Samsung laptop bit the dust. I took it to Dan (Arcola) to get his advice. He checked…read moreit and discovered that the hard drive was shot (no wonder after 12 years!) but he thought that he could retrieve most if not all of the data and install a new hard drive. Alternatively, I could buy a new computer. My data was very important to me so I elected to have Dan take a shot at it. The results far exceeded my expectation. He installed a new solid state hard drive, retrieved virtually all of my data from the old one and installed it on my new hard drive all for significantly less than the purchase of a new laptop. I refer all of my family and friends to them and without exception they have been happy with the results of their visits - whether it be to purchase or to repair their computers. On one occasion my computer stopped in the middle of a big project with a short deadline - the people at Next Generation took it in and immediately worked on it.
