My 12 year old Samsung laptop bit the dust. I took it to Dan (Arcola) to get his advice. He checked it and discovered that the hard drive was shot (no wonder after 12 years!) but he thought that he could retrieve most if not all of the data and install a new hard drive. Alternatively, I could buy a new computer. My data was very important to me so I elected to have Dan take a shot at it. The results far exceeded my expectation. He installed a new solid state hard drive, retrieved virtually all of my data from the old one and installed it on my new hard drive all for significantly less than the purchase of a new laptop. Dan is awesome. Diagnosed my monitor problem no charge. Suggested several different replacement options. Recommended I upgrade my 10 year old desktop before it crashed and burned. Provided me with all the info I needed in laymen terms with out overwhelming me with geek speak. Did not try to upsell me a system beyond my needs. Custom built me a nice solid I3 with the newest parts, transferred my data and tested my whole system all at a competitive price and in a timely fashion I couldn't be any happier I would highly recommend Arcola computer for all your computer issues big or small.
