The broth is rich, creamy, and packed with that perfect umami goodness -- like a warm hug for your soul. The noodles? Chef's kiss. The pork? Melts like butter. The restaurant itself is super cozy and beautiful -- soft lighting, cherry blossom art, and a calm, modern vibe that makes you want to stay forever. The Service is always friendly. The hostess is so sweet, kind and helpful. The Chef is always smiling and so kin and my bowl always arrives piping hot and perfect. Ichiro Ramen has officially become my go-to "treat yourself" spot. Pro tip: go for the tonkotsu... and thank yourself later.

The food itself was not bad at all, but I personally felt that it tasted more of an attempt at the actual dish. We ordered the pad thai, pho, and pad see ew. Like I said the dish itself didn't taste bad, but it just didn't taste authentic. The pad thai and pad see ew were definitely on the sweeter side and the pho tasted fine but was lacking a lot of key ingredients. The staff were very friendly and the food came out fairly quick. We came around 10pm on a weekday and it was pretty empty. I do appreciate the interior and that there's plenty of parking outside. The karage was great, I just wish I could say the same for the ramen. First, waiter/chef brings the ramen to the table and it is covered in a cup (yes, a whole cup) of bean sprouts. Who puts mung bean sprouts on Tonkatsu ramen? It was on all three bowls. It was a massive pile after we all pulled them out of the ramen bowl and collected them on the karage dish. The waiter/chef, a couple of minutes later, brings over the eggs for the ramen on a separate plate. No - they weren't in the ramen. Once I removed all the bean sprouts and put the egg into my ramen, it wasn't bad.. but it was a weird scenario and at that price point, if I'm wanting weird, I'll go to some experimental dining place.

I have been a fan of this ramen shop for a while and usually go to the Farmington location, but I…read moredecided to take a trip up to the Ogden location today. It is about a two-hour trip on transit each way for me to get here, but since I had the day off, I wanted to make the journey specifically to visit this location and walk around the area. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. I walked in right when they opened at 11:00 AM. Despite being one of only two tables in the entire, huge restaurant, the service was chaotic and aggressive. The staff was openly arguing and yelling at each other across the kitchen and floor because they couldn't remember what was on the specific ramen I ordered--which is wild considering the menu only has about 10 options. The food itself fell totally flat. They warned me the broth wasn't fully ready/hot when I ordered, but even when it arrived, it was lukewarm. It was steaming, but nowhere near the piping-hot temperature required for a good bowl of ramen. Worse, the spinach in the bowl was incredibly gritty, meaning the kitchen didn't even bother to wash it properly. To top it off, I was completely rushed out the door. I was asked if I needed a fork for my soup (which happens every time), and while I was actively eating with a quarter of my bowl still left, the waitress interrupted to ask if I wanted dessert. When I shook my head because my mouth was full, she just said she'd be right back and slapped the check on my table. It was barely 11:30 AM and the restaurant was empty--there was zero reason to push me out. Frankly, this was unacceptable. I'll probably stick exclusively to the Farmington location from now on, even though the service there isn't great either. At least the kitchen staff there doesn't treat paying customers to a live workplace argument.

And for the price of $25 it very worth it for the portions you get for ramen, two large tempura shrimp, 3 slices of pork belly, a perfectly boiled egg, nori, and fishcake. And if you get the crispy chicken ramen you get a whole cutlet instead of porkbelly! Highly recommend checking this place out!

The noodles appeared pre-packaged a lacked everything a good homemade noodle adds to fresh ramen.
