We stopped in here for two nights as we begin our road trip to go see family and friends this summer We have stayed here before, so it was familiar, which is nice. We paid about $60 a night. This is laid out nicely with wide open spaces and level lots. We didn't really use any of the shared facilities this time since we're just getting started on our trip. The Front Desk staff are extremely friendly and they have a little shop in there as well for some necessities. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, but we didn't partake this time It tends to get very windy in the afternoon and this part of the country so time your travel accordingly we saw lots of tumbleweeds They do have a kids playground as well as propane available. Near the end of a long day of travel we called OK RV Park, Crystal was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived just after sunset, we called her and she came back to the office to set us up with a site near the showers. The park is located far enough away from the freeway that traffic noise is not an issue. It had everything we needed for a great nights rest. The stay was short but we very much appreciated the friendly people and all the park had to offer. Will definitely stay again if traveling through Holbrook in the future. read more

This is not a resort RV park, in that there is no swimming pool, large children's play area, or classes in basket weaving. What it is is an excellent park with level sites, paved streets, perfect utilities, and a helpful and friendly staff. We've stayed here before. The park is under new management. I am delighted to say that we will definitely be back here again. It's a perfect place to stay if you're planning to visit the painted desert or petrified forest. read more

Sites are right on top of each other. To make matters worse, there's no enforcement for speeding through the park, which makes it feel unsafe and unpleasant . Literally people flying by your site at 30 mph. Stay elsewhere or just power through Holbrook. read more

This park, it's owners, and staff are simply amazing. My wife stayed there for two nights following cancer treatments in Phoenix. They were extremely kind to her, took care of all the camper hookups when she arrived and left. Their kindness and friendship was truly a gift from God. Even their kitties paid special attention to my wife. I can't recommend them enough to everyone. We WILL visit again. Special kudos to Christal and Chris! They went above and beyond with kindness. Not just OK! This RV park was so clean! The restrooms were clean! Mary at the front desk was awesome! I forgot the gentleman's name that showed us to our spot but he was so nice too! We asked him where a good place to eat was and he gave his opinion, we loved it! We bypassed flagstaff to stay at this park and I'm glad we did. 4.5 stars. We're relatively new to RVing, and we were really impressed with OK RV Park! The service was super friendly, and the bathrooms and laundry facilities were spotlessly clean. There's a spacious open area in the back where our dogs could run and play, which was a nice bonus. Even though it's right off the interstate, it was surprisingly quiet. It was also just a short drive to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, which made for a perfect basecamp. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we'd definitely recommend it! read more

On the way to Holbrook, we called KOA as we had just stayed in the Ely, NV location and liked it a lot even if the pricing was a bit exorbitant. The Holbrook pricing was the same and the gal we talked to was short and impatient with our inquiries on the phone. So, we decided to look around at other options. After reading the reviews on OK RV Park, we called to see if they had availability. They could not have been nicer on the phone and the pricing was much better. They asked what we were looking for in a space. We have two dogs so we wanted something close to the dog run and we needed to do laundry. They found us a spot that covered both needs. The spaces are long pull-throughs and they try hard to make sure the way they are set up that even if you have campers on either side, you have much more room and privacy in your space. Another great thing about the park, though, is the great people who work there. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They also answered all our questions about the general area of the state and gave recommendations of places to visit. Another bonus is the park is located away from the freeway. Although you can still hear freeway noise it is considerably further away from the freeway than KOA and that makes a big difference at night. The only downfall, and it has nothing to do with the park itself, is that there is a railway a couple miles away and trains run fairly regularly twenty-four hours. We are on our way to visit friends to the east. We will be staying here again on our way back home. read more

The park itself is ok...DO NOT hook up to their water!!! It smells like DEAD FISH!!! The bath house is the same. Well water? Not sure, but it will stink up your rig in a hurry!! Have your fresh water tanks full in this park! read more

Easy off and on! Local gas stations nearby as well as a variety of restaurants. Very reasonably priced. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly knowledgeable park hosts and escorted to our site. Sites are very long, but extremely narrow and could be a problem pulling in or out clearing picnic table or hook ups, so go slow. Great for one night stays, but not adequate for a long stay. Huge fenced in dog park with no grass, but gravel and was clean and well maintained. Make time to check out their impressive display of Petrified Rock next to the office and in the cemented sidewalk/porch area. Nice sized laundromat on site. We will stay here next time we travel through. read more

Absolutely rude and unprofessional here. I came to visit my parents and immediately got dirty looks and got nasty side comments from the people at the front. They are unbelievably rude to my parents calling them "trailer park trash" and being plain out disrespectful after they have been nice to them even though they gave every reason for them not to be. don't recommend this RV park whatsoever, unless you want to put up with disrespect and told to do things they don't tell anybody else to do. read more

Good little RV Park when passing through for a day or two while visiting the Petrified Forest National Park. They do have some facilities such as laundry, bathrooms and showed. In all our many years rv-ing this is by far the most well thought-out campground we've ever encountered. All the sites are pull through. There were two sets of hookups to each site (front and back) so that if your utilities were in the front OR the back, you were covered. The campground was super clean as were the restrooms. The manager, Merry, was knowledgeable and helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The ladies in the office were so nice and helpful as well. We were just passing though, but I'd like to make that campground a destination for a while. This is great value for the dollar. Stay here, you'll be glad you did. read more

If you're heading out of town and passing through Holbrook Arizona your options for glamping are extremely grim if you're in a RV or Trailer and like to pull into a nice RV park for the night. Your options are here or Petrified Forest KOA and actually KOA is right around the corner for the same price. We chose this RV park over KOA due to it being backed up to the 40 and the terrible noise of the trains however you get that here also. OK RV is surprisingly quite if you're not in front of the hippie strumming his guitar and smoking his pot until after midnight and being able to peep in the woman's restroom window while women are doing their thing. The spaces are nice and somewhat spaced out, friendly staff and clean restrooms. It does back up a commercial yard of some type with a not so appealing view but if you're in a crunch and need a place to pull into for the night then it's an OK place to stay. They have a little dog park area for your 4 legged friends, laundry room and showers no pool and its in a residential neighborhood but if you can get past the train noise then you're fine. My advice to the Owner please put curtains over your windows in the restrooms, Having see through windows in a public restroom that backs up to a dog park is scary and can pose a potential problem. read more

We drove from Bakersfield, CA to Holbrook, AZ and stayed at our favorite spot there, the OK RV park. We were in spot blue 20. All their spots are basically the same, on sandy/rocky soil with a few trees and full hook ups. It was $33 for us with our Good Sam discount. The people there are very friendly, and you're not far from the Petrified Forest National Park. read more

Well, I think the name about wraps it up ... it's just OK. Easy access off I-40. Far enough away that you don't hear much traffic - especially with the ACs running :) Check-in was quick and friendly. The park is basically a huge gravel parking lot with sites carved in. They are long and extremely narrow sites. One of those places where you can reach out and almost shake hands with your neighbor. Our passenger side slide was up close and personal with a young tree which will grow into a big tree and be a big problem. RVs are parked opposite of each other and pulled way up front in each site so you aren'tlooking in the next door guy's windows just the guy two sites over! Despite looking pretty level, our site wasn't. It leaned heavily to the driver's side and a bit toward the back. Quite a few hookups to choose from which is nice. They are just lined up and down between two sites. It's a little tricky getting in/out of the sites due to the placement of signs. There is not muchshade so it's hot. There is a wooden picnic table but I don't know whyyou would use it as it is sandwiched betweenyour RV andthe car next door. Satellite would not be a problem, and they do have cable. Surprise, surprise the WII FI didn't work. Verizon was 4g 4 bars so we used our hot spots even though it was a bit wonky as it was on an extended network. It's pretty quiet until the trains start up at 5 AM and the whistles every 15 minutes. IMO, this place is very over priced, and the sites are way too close for our comfort. read more

Don't use Google Map's aerial view to judge this campground! Instead of looking desolate and dirty, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and organization of the campground. We called last minute to reserve and the young lady we spoke to was very pleasant and helpful! Arrived at about midnight, after the office closed, and everything was ready for us as she said it would be - information, map to our spot, bathroom code, etc. smooth checkin! We checked out the next morning and we're greeted by a friendly person at the office. They had coffee ready for those that wanted it. Would definitely recommend this place. Very clean, level spots with a nice dog park area. Rather an odd set-up, in that two residential streets run through the rv park, but it doesn't seem to cause any problems. Nice folks, very helpful. Just an average RV park at best. Long, NARROW, and I do mean NARROW sandy/dirt pull thru sites. Oddly, they are at 90 degrees or perpendicular to the main travel roads. Very unusual as most parks sites are at an angle making entering/exiting easier. One nice thing was there were multiple sewer hook up points per site. They are pretty reasonably priced at $38 per night. Folks in the office were nice and friendly too. I added a night without a problem (the park was pretty empty in mid-September). It's a decent place to stay if you want to visit The Petrified Forest/Painted Desert national Park, The Meteor Crater or "stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona" as all are within an hour or less of the park. Also nearby is The Wigwam Motel on Historic Route 66 - which you might remember seeing something like it in the movie Cars. Anyway, it's nothing special, but a decent stopover for a night or two. Since I don't like to drive more than 4-5 hours, I'd stop again if need be. read more

This is a great little RV park. It's in a perfect location with easy on and easy off from I-40. In addition the sites are pull-thru with choices of several hookups in the long pull thru sites. What works for one rig doesn't always work for all rigs. There is a nice laundry and it's close to restaurants. Other than seeing the laundry and office we didn't use any other facilities. When we're traveling through we're looking mainly for a location close to the main highway and this worked perfectly. Staff was friendly and price ($31) much cheaper than the KOA down the road. Sites were level. We would definitely choose this park again. read more

It was horrible, even though the spaces were super long they made us pull up so our door faced directly into the door of the rv next to us! We have little dogs and didn't want to camp like that, sharing a picnic table and landing with a stranger! We asked to back up so we wouldn't be door to door and she wouldn't let us, I asked to move then because I didn't want to camp like that, and she said they were full....they were not! The other people had dogs too so ours just wanted to bark. Horrible, won't be back! read more

OLD 50's era RV Park Most recent stay 5-04-16 [I'm late on writing my review] ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. This is an adult Big Rig type RV park on gravel parking lot with full hookups and broken/cracked asphalt patio with picnic table. We did get a site close to shower / restroom building however have to rate that facility a mediocre 2 star them being ugly - old - outdated - in sore need of some TLC and upgrading - would do wonders for the place. (We didn't see a Home Depot nearby, but there is one 50 mi away in Show Low AZ) The showers are generous size, have good pressure and lots of hot water and a door on each stall that affords full privacy. They were very clean and didn't smell so that's a good thing. The sites are the longest I've ever seen. All pull thru and probably 80-90 feet long. Parking-lot style side by side on gravel, but they are set up so that RV's alternate so you really aren't right next to anyone. There are about six different sewer connections per site ~ really ~ and the electric, water, and cable is located toward the rear of the sites. All worked well. Great for overnight stay in big rig motor home 5th wheel or travel trailer, but not so great for pop up trailer, tear drop trailer, and definitely not for a tent. Overall the place was very clean. Desert setting so no grass, still I consider this as base camp for visiting the Petrified Forest National Park and whatever else you want to see in the area, but disagree with 5 star rating others submitted ~ 4 & 5 star rating really? read more

This park is convenient to I40. The spaces are all designed for pull through and the RVs are staggered for some privacy. The spaces are level and the hookups convenient. Very friendly staff. It's mostly dirt with some gravel. Few shade trees that are large enough to offer shade. Laundry facilities, not used or looked at during our stay. Bathrooms are very dated but clean. Economical to stay here with Good Sam membership. If you're looking for a place to spend the night or to visit the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest, good choice. They offer free WiFi that works. No need to use my MiFi during our stay. read more
