If your craving something healthy and tasty, check this little place out. I love their unique custom water bottles. I think they're probably more know for their drinks and fruits salad then the breakfast. Family and pet friendly. They do have a patio should you want to sit outside and enjoy some fresh air. Quick service and clean atmosphere.
We stopped by this cute restaurant for brunch after arriving to Mexico City. It was recommended by hotel staff and right around the corner from where we stayed. Service was friendly and quick! I ordered a chai latte and split a truffle avocado toast with my partner. Splitting it was a great idea because it ended up being quite a big toast! Delicious! And I really appreciated the cinnamon, star anise, etc. in the chai. Yum!
I'm super familiar with Ojo de Agua so imagine my surprise when we checked into Umbral, Curio Collection by Hilton and Ojo was the restaurant attached to it. Our hotel package came with free breakfast and Ojo was the restaurant. They had select items to choose from for breakfast so I went with the avocado toast, glass of orange juice (I only drink OJ outside the U.S.), and a side of fruit. I got this every morning and throughly enjoyed it. Also, every interaction with the staff was great and the restaurant grounds is well taken care of. It' also somewhat similar to the one in Houston, except this location has an upstairs area. It's centrally located and stays open to about 8pm. I also noticed they had a location in the airport.
On a weeklong trip to CDMX, we visited this Ojo de Agua three separate times. Hands down, our favorite items to order were their juices and acai bowls. Each time, we ordered different juices and they came in big mason jar glasses. Strawberry and mango was delicious, but also ones that had more tropical fruit varieties, like Guanabana Coco and Maracuya (Soursop, Coconut, Passionfruit). We always ordered the large size acai bowls, which came with two rounded scoops of acai, granola, nuts, sliced mango, fresh berries, and banana. These were also so refreshing and appetizing. I also loved that you could order bowls of sliced fruit, and we did that with mango, which were always ripe and juicy. For their hot foods, it's a bit more hit and miss. We loved the chilaquiles with a tender shredded pork. The green sauce was not too acidic and really well done. The Eggs Condesa, on the other hand, was supposed to be over potatoes but the shredded potatoes were undercooked, and I did not enjoy the deli-style ham slices that were included. The Turkey Pesto sandwich was fine, but deli meats in Mexico are generally underwhelming. The Ahogado Pocha was another combination of fried egg, a lot of sauce, and cheese dish. For the sunny, bright cafe vibes and excellent fruits, acai bowls, and juices, Ojo de Agua is the best. As we traveled around Mexico City, we saw other beautiful locations in other neighborhoods so we will be sure to frequent them anywhere we choose to stay on our next visit.
I was so excited to try ojo de agua when visiting Mexico City, especially after seeing photos of all their beautiful food! I went to the Condesa location and there was plenty of seating inside and outside with nice views out to the street. I ordered the acai bowl and it was absolutely delicious and so fresh. This is the most fruit I have ever had on an acai bowl and the mango was absolutely perfect! The service was also great, with the staff quickly remaking my bowl after a miscommunication about nuts in the bowl, which I am allergic to.
The service is a bit slow but this is one of my favorite places in the neighborhood to get breakfast. The fresh juices are very much appreciated. (The coffee is rather low-quality so stop for some before coming here.) The seating is indoor/outdoor. Prices are reasonable. This place fills up on the weekend so be prepared to wait!
Ugh i loved this place so much! I ordered a quesdilla w zucchini flower and adored both the tortilla and all the sauces it came with. The acai bowl was equally delicious and had a nice scoop on top. I saw there was a location in the mexico city airport and spent like 20 mins walking around on maps trying to find it only to realize it was pre security.... A testament to how much i enjoyed my meal here
We were drawn to here by the review. However, the experience and the quality of food (fruit) was a letdown and lacking. Price is the same as what we had in Los Angeles before the pandemic. However, we were charged for an unknown item which is 50 pesos. My husband asked why that item and was told it was tax. My understanding is all tax should be included in the price. We felt cheated and the store is dishonest. We tip additionally. But we will never go back and do not recommend it.
Ojo de Agua was hands down one of our favorite food finds in Mexico City. Even though they have several locations across CDMX, we stumbled upon one just a short walk from our hotel--and the fact that they were open on Christmas Day already earned bonus points. What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. With such a wide menu, you're guaranteed to find something you'll love--and very likely come back for more. Highly recommend! read more

Very fresh and affordable healthy options! We stopped in on a weekday afternoon after walking by earlier and seeing how packed it was. We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food! read more

A little bit of Mexico City cool, a little bit of Sunday morning healing, it delivers on flavor, comfort, and that post-night-out renewal we all crave. We walked in unsure of what to order--everything sounded good. So, naturally, we shared. Croissant Ham & Cheese Sandwich Buttery, flaky, with the perfect whisper of sweetness in the dough. The exterior had that crisp edge that shatters gently when you bite, giving way to layers that melt on your tongue. It wasn't just food--it was nostalgia dressed in European café style, dripping in flavor and comfort. Chilaquiles (Red & Green Mix) A plate with purpose. The spice hit just right, waking up our foggy brains after the night before. Mixing red and green salsa? Easily the move. It brought balance, brightness, and that subtle kick that reminds you you're alive. It's the dish that says: You partied, but now you're healing. Acai Bowl Being from LA, I couldn't resist. And wow--fresh as a cold stream after a long hike. Mango, raspberries, blueberries, coconut shreds, and strawberries all played in perfect harmony. It was the hug I didn't know I needed--a cooling, hydrating reset. A Place to Remember... and Return Ojo de Agua isn't about flash--it's about flavor that feels familiar, dishes that connect, and the kind of spot you revisit with people who matter. My cousin, a local, immediately declared it a new go-to. As for me? This will absolutely be one of my first stops next time I'm back in town. Soursop coconut passionfruit juice was incredible - one of the best juices I've ever had in my LIFE wow. Black detox also had delish coconut flavor. There are locations all over (even in the airport, but this one is better). read more

We stayed in Condesa and happened to stop here. So happy we did, they had the best breakfast food. Everything was fresh and presented beautifully, service was awesome. We came back both mornings we could! Highly recommend. read more

Extremely fresh and delicious açaí bowl. I ordered two scoops and it was the perfect amount. The mango was so juicy and ripe. The berries were also great. This place had great seating options and outlets which was convient for us to charge our laptops while eating here . read more

The smoothie was good and I loved it, of course. But honestly the vibes of this place are what made it special. Super chill and super nice staff. I just stopped here for a quick bite and tinchill and it was everything I could have needed. I may not be in Mexico City anytime soon again, but I def recommend a pit stop here if you're in the area and need a nice, chill brunch! read more
Cute concept chain in the heart of Polanco/St Miguel...very appealing store. Fresh fruit arranged j. A very gourmet way. Sick modern store. Staff is polite but a bit lame ...slow if the operative word. The results are mixed ...my quesadilla was great and açaí bowl was also nice. Fruit is great and the code is decent. Not a fan of the burger and the avaocado toast needed seasoning. I'll try again. read more
When in Mexico City you must try the fresh juices at Ojo de Agua. We went twice during the weekend we visited because they're just so refreshing. They make a great bebida to stroll around La Condesa / Roma Norte and take in the sights and sounds. I tried a mango /passionfruit forward juice called South Face, which was gorgeous visually and exactly what I needed to wake up. My second juice was called the goal and was totally different. Much more beet forward and a deep red hue. It was equally delicious. Pricing isn't too bad when compared to fresh juice in the U.S. (conversion was about $6 a juice in late March 2025). They have tons of other juice options you can enjoy and they also have food. We didn't try any this visit, but it's on our list for next trip. Note that this location had a separate drink walk up counter and is a short walk from the Parque Mexico. There are other locations scattered throughout the city, so you're never far from one. read more

We were waiting on a very popular place down the street and decided to eat here instead. So glad we made the switch. We absolutely loved it. It was fresh and tasty. My avocado toast was to die for. My husband had a more hearty meal and loved it. Both beautifully presented and very tasty dishes. read more

Ojo de Agua: "A place that, in addition to offering people food of the highest quality enriched with the most fundamental nutrients, allows people to disconnect for a moment and reconnect with the things that we believe are the most important". ^ love this portion of their history on their website and their locations reflect this. Ordered: - Molletes: baguette with beans, oaxaca, manchego and ricotta cheese, turkey chorizo and pico de gallo It was good, but the turkey chorizo took away from the overall taste of the traditional molletes. I'd probably order it without that next time. - Ahogados Poché: Black beans with two poached eggs accompanied by their red/green sauce and shredded panela cheese on top. So many great items to try here, but this was a good start! read more

The interior was beautifully designed with fresh produce making it appear like a farmers market. The sandwiches are well prepared providing exotic combinations that were well chosen. We had the cheese sandwich with pines which was delicious. The Mango chicken sandwich was refreshing. All the sandwiches are accompanied with a beautiful designed salad which does not only look delicious but is also flavorful and comes with a generous amount of avocado. Really nice place in front of a park, they have seats available outside. The red chilaquiles are better than the green ones. Everything is organic and fresh. They have all types of juices and protein shakes. Only thing I didn't quite like was that you need to order and pay in the counter and then they bring you your food to your table. The waitress don't get your orders, they only bring you the food. Other than that the place is clean, and nice. Beautiful architecture too! read more

This place is good but it's pretty overpriced. The açai bowl is pretty big and has a lot of fruit, but it cost the same amount as getting an açai bowl where I live in New York City. That just doesn't seem right to me one fruit isn't particularly expensive and all of the other places around here are much cheaper. The service is friendly though and there is nice ambience, and I would like to try the breads. It just seems like a price standout for everything else nearby. read more

Nice little breakfast place in La Condesa area. We stopped by for a quick breakfast and OJo de Aqua definitely has a great selection of tacos, breakfast specials, fresh fish ceviches and a robust juice bar. We ordered Salmon Tacos, Tulum Ceviche and baked eggs with red and green sauces and baked beans. Tacos were sub-par. The shells broke by the time they came to the table, and salmon was marinated in a form of a jerk sauce that kind of clashed with the rest of ingredients, it also had a disproportionate amount of pineapple in it. Ceviche was excellent - a fresh mix of octopus and white fish. Eggs were very good, but somewhat overdone. Tips: Nice breakfast place, great outdoor seating Quick and self order option My feeling is you really need to know what to order here read more
