Veggie Tempura Don and Potato Pancakes

This is the kind of place you order at the counter and they bring it out so less of a restaurant feel. It's more take out vibes but fine enough to eat in. We had the Pork Chasu Bun, potato pancakes, veggie Tempura Don and Yamitsuki Ramen everything was tasty. Only issue was with the veggies, they were way to large to eat in a single or even 2 bites, it made it annoying to eat. Also, the veggie ramen should be priced lower than the other ramen options. Otherwise, I really liked it and will go back. Definitely worth a try.

Authentic Ramen in the LaGrange Area! I had the pleasure of visiting the newly opened Japanese Ramen restaurant today. Located conveniently near my home, this place could quickly become my new favorite spot for a hearty bowl of ramen. But It's the restaurant's grand opening day, and I want to leave a good review. Service: The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and eager to explain the menu offerings. There was a little delay, but I understand it is their first day. Also, they could provide a cup of water. Ambiance: The interior of the restaurant and the restrooms were clean. The simple interior was cozy. The glass window of the main door needs to be cleaned. It's perfect whether you're dining solo, with friends, or with family. Food: The ramen I had today was Sukiyaki Ramen. As a meat lover, the meat in this ramen tasted like Korean bulgogi. I highly recommend this ramen, but the Shrimp Tempura Udon is not recommended. I've tried and reviewed a lot of Japanese restaurants in my life, but I've never found them worth the price. The tempura shrimp tasted like frozen food from the food depot and not homemade. The menu has four udon noodles, but I won't even try the rest. Price: Compared to other Asian Japanese restaurants based on flavor and quality, it is expensive. However, it's their first day, so I'm sure they'll improve. Overall: The udon was definitely not good, but the ramen was excellent. I will return at least once more to try their other ramen dishes. Hopefully, I will be more impressed on my next visit. I wish this local business every success.

Set your expectations properly and you'll like this place a lot. It's one of those places where you order at the counter and then pick a table. Luckily we were early because there were 8 of us. My sons and grandson were in town and we decided to go get Ramen. Half boiled egg was perfect. Ramen was tasty. Drinks are canned drinks.

While they do have paper menus the first thing you see is the QR code to access the menu. It has a quick service feel to it. You order at the counter and then you find a seat. It seems like they are still learning, but things were resolved quickly. They bring your order to you and they clear your table when you are finished. For the price (which is very reasonable), the food was what you might expect. It was good, but not extraordinary. Please keep in mind, I lived in Japan for a year and I have lived in major cities for parts of my adult life. It filled my craving for Japanese food and my husband liked his spicy ramen. He reports that it was just the perfect spice level. Food came out reasonably quickly and it was hot and fresh. We are definitely short on restaurants and particularly ethnic restaurants in the general Crestwood area and it is a welcome addition. We will return happily and hope you will give it a try as well. I do recommend this restaurant.

This was everything we tried for lunch!

Very delicious Ramen! Only negative was that the eggs are consistently not soft boiled. Almost seems premade which makes them dry later on!

I think my cocktail was called the Tokyo Pop? Not positive but you have to get it. Gin, bubbles, sake, and a hint of lemon in a flute glass. Refreshing, a hint of sweet, a hint of lemon, and extremely drinkable. It would be too easy to throw a ton of these back. But I was demure and had one. I enjoyed the calamari--my go-to here. Crispy, with a bit of heat from pickled peppers, a bit a of sweet form a sweet glaze, and a nice herby zing from mint, herbs, and scallions. They also top the calamari with a a nice portion of greens dressed in a lemon vinaigrette, making this appetizer feel close to a light meal. I am absolutely obsessed with the ponzu mayo that comes on the side. An absolutely delightful touch. I also enjoyed the chocolate cream pot. Talk about decadent. I love that it is served with berries, because you need that tartness to balance out the richness. Fully indulgent. Bonus points: I working fireplace. (And holiday decor still up--this never bothers me.) The ambiance is always lovely, with something iconic on the TV always playing. This spot is one of my fave representation of the Louisville food scene.

Twelve years ago, my dear friend began breeding Goldendoodles: to produce dogs capable of changing lives and they did (Many Many Lives) One of those puppies is Ozzy. Ozzy isn't "just a dog." He is a highly trained guide dog by Custom Canines Service Dog Academy who gives his person, Kevin Kraly, the independence that many of us take for granted every single day. He is Kevin's eyes. His partner. His freedom. Recently, Kevin and Ozzy attempted to enter THIS restaurant together. Instead of being welcomed, they were turned away. They were asked for identification for Ozzy. They were told they could only dine outside only there was no outside dining . They were even told Kevin could come inside if he tied Ozzy up outside and left him there. Imagine being told to leave your eyes at the door. Let.that.sink.in. A blind man was told to leave his guide dog outside. Even after the law regarding service animals was shown and explained, entry was still denied. This isn't simply poor customer service. This is a reminder that many people with disabilities still face barriers that should not exist in 2026. The Americans with Disabilities Act protects the right of service dog teams to access businesses open to the public. These protections exist because guide dogs are not pets--they are essential medical assistance animals that allow their handlers to navigate the world safely and independently. No one should have to fight for basic access because they are blind. No one should have to defend the legitimacy of their guide dog. And no one should ever be told to leave their eyes outside.
