I was thrilled to see the concept come back with some fresh ideas as well as a whole themed overlay inside the Zombie Burger East Village location that really set the mood! Our server, Noah, was well informed about the menu items and made some suggestions he thought we might like (The Brussels sprouts were fantastic!!!) We unfortunately missed the serving window for ramen (Currently Tuesdays through Saturdays 12-8pm) but everything we did have was absolutely fantastic and we can't wait to return!!! A note that while the carry-out portion of the location is themed with the Kaiju Ramen decor, the full menu can be ordered either for carry-out or in the main dining aread of Zombie Burger which we thought was great! Definitely recommend checking this place out, as I'm not sure how long they will keep the concept going!

Overall, we are pretty happy and will order from them again! It's the best ramen we have had so far in Des Moines (we are still needing to try Oishii), albeit it's got some uniqueness to it. Brussel sprouts are an interesting ingredient, and the pork belly is strands and not strips like we expected, but it was still very tasty. I'm also not a huge fan of hard-boiled eggs in my ramen (soft yolk fan club). We also tried the boba milkshakes and they were DELICIOUS. My only issue was the paper straws. There's too much friction to allow the boba to come up through the straw, which results in the straw weirdly collapsing in on itself and rendering itself useless. We settled for just drinking it without the straw. If you like ramen, definitely give them a try.

Both ramen varieties include a meat and veggie option for our vegetarians. 2) they are a well loved LGBTQ+ owned local business - we love to support that! 3) their food is absolutely delicious. Their appetizers are YUM. I definitely recommend the artichoke tempura. It took awhile for me to order here. They are only available for pick up/dine in on wednesdays. I am on Instagram and their Instagram page has been very helpful. They have a how-to assemble on their website. If you're doing pick up, I much recommend getting the uncooked noodles. Literally takes a minute of boiling the noodles to assemble and makes me feel like I'm working with a Hello Fresh meal. Also. I recommend adding an egg with your ramen. Note. You can also order a day ahead and You can put in the time you'll pick it up. They are pretty popular so you do have to be patient since they're making all of this fresh. I have arrived at the time of pick up and still having to wait an additional 15 minutes bc they're stocked full of orders.

The texture of the noodles were so unique and perfectly chewy yet soft. Found out they are made without egg. The masubi was delectable!! I love how authentic it tasted. I could eat 20 of those. Made perfectly! During COVID19 review: Got take out. No dine-in is allowed. Employees were masked. A simple friendly hello when I arrived for my order. Pick up area was nice and orderly. Several orders were waiting besides mine. Bringing home to put together was easy peasy. We have a bit of a drive, so when we arrived home we had to heat the broth for a bit on the stove. Everything was nicely packaged and labeled. Overall my review is for the quality of food and it was AWESOME! I had very minimal interaction with service so I don't have any thoughts there. I learned of Ramen Club DSM through Instagram and found they have a wonderful word of mouth, social media marketing and following. I loved everything and am a huge fan. I can't wait to have another bowl and MAYBE, JUST MAYBE...dine in once there's an ok to eat there.

This time we started with a Mango Margarita and Super Dirty Geisha - both highly recommended! For our dinner, we started with a Beef Negimaki (see picture) appetizer and really enjoyed it! The sauce was so good that I found myself literally trying to spoon up all of the extra before they took the plate back! For our dinner, my wife ordered the Cha Shu Ramen (see picture) and I ordered the Yellowtail Jalapeno Roll (see picture), as I wasn't that hungry. As is our standard practice, we shared our orders and both enjoyed both of the selections - so would definitely recommend them for anyone visiting. Lastly, the Taro Milk Tea looked awfully good, so I tried it - and believe me, it tasted as good as it looks! 11/01/2023 Another great stop for dinner after Mass with friends. It was almost closing time on a Friday evening We were cutting it close to closing so we rushed over. Just a cute little place on the strip mall under the giant flag on 6th. There was not waiting in this cute little place. Its bright with a very kind and friendly young man at the counter. He was super sweet It smells great in here as we strolled up to the counter. I was craving a Spring Roll. I also ordered a small sampler which included 2 egg rolls and 2 Rangoon. My girlfriend and I ordered the last of the fried rice for the day. We got our order to go and took it back home. The spring roll was divine! The crab Rangoon and rolls were also good! The rice, was "end of day rice" . I would 100% go back and get more earlier in the evening. I highly recommend and will be back for more delicious spring rolls and try other thing. I hope to catch the truck out one of these days and dine that way as well.
