For Clinton a place like this is definitely a change of pace. I've been here a few times since they…read morehave opened and I have had good service and food each time. The restaurant is clean especially right now during the Covid restrictions. Sanitizing and wearing masks. When we arrived this last time there was a short wait. Maybe 5 min. We got to our seat and our waitress was very friendly and quick to get us our cocktails. We ordered an appetizer and 3 rolls total. When the appetizer came out we were disappointed to see there were only 4 little dumplings on the plate. But our waitress came back out with the proper amount and apologized without us even saying anything about it. To me that is pretty good customer service as far as fixing a mistake. The rolls came out shortly after. They did a nice presentation of the rolls and they had good flavor. I know I'm not a sushi connoisseur or anything, but both of us really enjoyed the meal so I would say it was good sushi. Overall, we had a good time on this visit. I have been here a couple of other times and had good meals. So overall for Clinton I'll give it a 4. Like I said, it's a nice change of pace and something different for the overall restaurant scene in Clinton and surrounding areas.

Will come back if we are ever on this stretch of highway. Service isn't fast but is on point. Food is your typical Thai / Sushi menu but surprisingly and deliciously perfect. Atmosphere is chill small town bar. If you're good with that you are in the right place.

A lot of great choices at lunch. You get better prices for the quality and quantity. Chill place because it was actually empty. It's more popular for takeout orders. The best things to get are the lunch specials. A lot better value than anything else. There's also a fairly small cocktail menu. It's about $8 for a basic cocktail. This has more availability when it gets later. Basically we came for the food. It's about $12 for the Lunch Special. A lot of great options to choose among. She had the Green Curry. This comes with bamboo shoots, basil, bell peppers, and mushrooms. I got the Spicy Basil Leaves. This comes with basil, bell peppers, green beans, and onions. Comes with steamed rice and choice of appetizer. There's also a protein choice and we got tofu. Had an herby and spicy flavor. There's also curries and noodles among the other specials. Great flavor and there's a spiciness to it. It's closed Mondays. There's plenty of things for vegetarians.

This is a new place that just opened up. It is located in the old Pizza Hut location, which is…read morejust north of Jimmy Johns. They have changed up the appearance of the place - adding artwork in the building to tie it into the theme, and some curtains between the counter and the back area where the food is cooked. You walk in, look at the menu, make your order and pay. They will provide you with a pager so when you sit down, you know your food is ready. They will set off the pager and call your pager number out. They then had you a plastic bag or bags (depending on your order size) with your food, and you go back to your table. The bag had napkins, 1 fork and 2 sets of chopsticks in it. We found more of the same in the old buffet cart, which is just south of the drink dispenser. With the logistics handled, let's talk about the food. There is the Hibachi section, where they have Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Salmon, Scallops, Vegetable and Filet Mignon, along with combinations of those. There is the Special Yatta section, which has combinations of Hibachi Chicken and California Roll, with a drink. There is a noodle combo section with all sorts of noddle combos, and then they have a respectable sushi section with 29 different rolls available in "basic", "Special" and "Traditional" varieties. So what did we have? We ordered the Hibachi Combo Fillet Mignon and Shrimp, along with 2 Special Rolls - Torch Salmon and Washington Roll. The Hibachi Fillet Mignon (sic) and Shrimp was good - it came with vegetables, rice (not chicken fried or pork fried, just fried which is fine with me) and then a good portion of both meats. This would be great for one person with an appetite. We shared it and the sushi. The Torch Salmon was heated with a torch - you can hear it when they start it up. It was a warm roll, and was quite good. The Washington Roll was also very tasty and was served chilled (not torched). Both sushi rolls came with ginger and wasabi. The wasabi was respectably hot, as expected. They also have appetizers on the menu. To help you out, I have included both sides of the menu in the photos. The drink machine is your typical 8 or 10 selection unit. The drinks tasted fine. This is a restaurant we need in Rochelle. It offers variety that is much needed. Give it a try!
