I want candy. Willy Wonka ain't got nothing on this place…read more Fudge and all sorts of candies. I always get their fresh fried mini donuts(so good). The fudge assortment is extensive. My fave is Orange cream. (Who my try to kid I love them all) the ones with nuts or the plain JUST TO MUCH TO CHOOSE.. Great tasting sweets and made in Old Forge NY. They also sell candy cigarettes and that's an old time candy. They do sell other things as well. They don't just sell candy you can get a stuffed animal while your there. Really it is also a souvenir shop. But popcorn and candy is why I keep going back. Small store with a small town charm. I visit Old Forge 4 to 5 times a year and we stop every time we are in Old Forge

I'm a white chocolate girl. He's a dark chocolate man, but the pecan caramel fudge and both white and dark nailed it for us. In addition we bought some cappuccino truffles for another night with a great bottle of red wine. Service was amazing. They gave us samples, we were lucky to be on a Wednesday during the fall season when it wasn't so busy, but it felt like somebody's mother's kitchen while we were there! Small place, very welcoming, and it seemed like many people were congregating near the kettle corn which we did not sample or buy. Fun day, welcoming town and now enjoying our fudge!

The Back Door Bar - Chicken Caesar wrap was kind of dry but decent flavor.

Bartender was friendly and chatted with us for a quick minute as he served a large crowd. The burgers that went by as we stood there looked scrumptious and huge. I would venture to say the food must be good based on the looks of it and the size of the dining crowd. When we sat outside with the gorgeous view from the upper deck people below were getting pizzas that also looked delicious and I'd say about 18" with fresh looking ingredients. I cannot attest to flavor but the smells were awesome. Next time we will stop later and grab a bite for dinner.
