Units are not the size advertised. I called first to request info on sizing. Was told by the…read moreperson I spoke to that the units ARE actually the size listed (as I've used others before that definitely fudge the numbers). Went with a 20' as I needed about 19' total length for the items I wanted to store. Turned out to be even less than 19'. Left a review and the manager called me, where I reminded them I knew exactly how much space I needed, hence asking about true sizing before choosing them. Was offered to move to a larger unit, but for a higher price. After some pushback on my end they did eventually move me to a larger one for a lower price than listed but only for a couple months. So, in total that pricing only works out the same provided I move out of the new unit in March. **That said, after agreeing to modified price, manager pressured me to change my 3 star review. I'm amending this review to one star based on my last interaction. I gave notice of vacating the unit, and then was charged more than usual for my last month. I asked why and I'm being told that I'm just now paying for the insurance that I elected to have. Which meant I thought my things were insured the whole time, but they weren't. Desk agent tried to tell me it's because I SAID I didn't want it, despite signing paperwork approving it. Then continually cut me off when trying to clarify his statement that I was not storing things that should have been covered by the insurance.

In fact, I could not get the residual cat urine out of my boots and had to throw them away! While I was there, I saw the gentlemen from Bond Strong diligently working with the homeowner to constantly redirect his attention to the tasks at hand to get his items packed and loaded. They were so incredibly professional during a very delicate and emotional situation. They treated the homeowner with the utmost respect while maintaining a sense of urgency in getting the entire house emptied before the end of the day. Wow... blown away by this company!!!!!

I told him I wanted to hire 2 movers and he charged me for 3. We never had a conversation about him…read moreadding a 3rd person so it was odd to me that he just did it with no discussion. It would have taken longer so I let it slide. He also charged me $150 for the use of the truck which I found really odd because I have never paid to use a moving truck before when hiring a moving company. I asked google if you pay to use a moving truck when hiring a moving company and google said NO. He mentioned it in the text quote but I didn't really think about it at the time and the he never mentioned a price and the the price is also not mentioned on the final bill. When I questioned him about it later he added gas and mileage which was not originally quoted. They also dropped a $600 mirror in front of and I was worried it got chipped. After we got to my house his worker said he inspected it and said it wasn't chipped. There was a lot going on so I didn't check myself. A few days later I was standing by the mirror and looked at the corner and there is definitely a chip so I texted him and said the mirror is chipped on the corner and the worker must have seen it. He made an excuse about the stairs being narrow at my complex. I said no you dropped it right in front of me and you were holding one side of it when he dropped it. He didn't apologize or take accountably at all and at that point I realized I was dealing with some with not a lot of integrity so I stopped texting with him. I have been struggling with this because he was referred by my real estate agent who I have a great relationship with and so I passed on that trust to him and I feel like he took complete advantage of me. That is my own fault and so at this point I am just here to warn others to proceed with caution when dealing with this company.
