OPT has sold me a number of quality power tools and accessories for them too. It's easy to find quality made items including brands like Makita, Bosch, & Milwaukee Electric. Some of these manufacturers participate in special sales events at the Ohio Power Tool location here in Grandview Heights. The staff in the showroom have been helpful with advice each time I've visited, and willing to discuss options that would suit my specific power tool needs. I purchase a Milwaukee packout on Black Friday sale November 2025 and missing the drawer dividers. I cotact opt and said they order the dividers to Milwaukee. and i try to call and talk to GREG SMITH, always say they waiting for the shipping. Until now 5-05-2026 nothing . My experience so far with them has been ok, I'll see what happens over the next week I placed an order with Ohio power tool that qualified for a rebate with Milwaukee , and all documentation provided to me by Ohio power tool does not meet Milwaukee's conditions. All repeated emails to OPT have gone unresponsive, I'm getting frustrated, so we'll wait and see. read more

If you are looking for power tools this is the place. I bought a Ridgid Micro Reel 70808. Customer service is excellent. I called them about a online order and we're very helpful. They told me the tool I ordered was on back order and should be in around the first week of April. I don't know what they did my order was being shipped after over a week. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY!!! I ordered 6 ABUS Hasp 130/180 01300 door lock hasps online from Ohio Power Tool for $16.39 a piece. I thought I was getting a great deal. I didn't realize, however, that I was dealing with a fraudulent company! Instead of what I had ordered, Ohio Power Tool sent me 6 ABUS 72/30 CAB Black 4" cables which, according to the invoice they sent with the shipment, sell for the same exact price as the 130/180 01300 door lock hasps. The invoice sent with the shipment, however, differs from the Order Confirmation email that I received after placing the online order. They actually generated two invoices (a sure sign on fraud) for the same order with the same exact unit price and shipping charges despite the two products selling everywhere else for drastically different prices. Not only that the door lock hasps are significantly heavier but they charged the same exact shipping to ship the very lightweight cables which could have been placed in a manila envelope and sent through the mail for just a few dollars. Emails and voicemails from me to the company have gone unanswered. I am in the process of filing an inter-state commerce fraudulent business complaint against the company with the Internet Crime Complaint Center at IC3.gov and am filing numerous online reviews and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Really good people, small American company. I had never heard of OPT, but saw they had a flip-uppable face shield with a head cover at a very good price. I ordered it and it came with some mild damage to the aluminum rim of the shield so that the shield was pushed in toward my face. I let them know and within two days had a perfect replacement shield at no cost. They are clearly doing what they can to keep folks working and to meet the needs of Americans in the pandemic. I don't buy much in the way of tools, but I will buy from them again if I have the chance. read more

I rented a concrete saw from them. Was told the price was 50.00 for the day. They put a new blade on it. Took them a hot to get it ready to go. Received it with no gas in it. When I went back to return it was told my bill was 100.00. I inquired why the extra cost. They told me I had to buy the blade they put on it. This was never mentioned and I did not get to choose the blade that was put on. It was very shady. Don't get anything from these guys. read more
