I bypassed said stand for Mr. K's Takeout, which is mostly sushi and rolls, kludged bowls and spam musubi, if you're into that kind of thing. With all due respect, eating spam is like chewing on my own overboiled, oversalted, oozing-with-grease tongue, and you better believe that was hard coming from me, someone who loves pork so very much. ANYWAY, Mr. K's is so teeny-tiny you could sneeze and the wind would hit the back wall, but the mother and son who man the joint are incredibly pleasant; the son in particular should instruct in customer service; what a nice kid. I had a lovely somen salad with egg and fish cake and ham (NOT SPAM), and it was just the right thing before hitting the beaches down the way, in particular that one in between Waialea and Hapuna... locals will know which beach I'm talking about, wink wink nudge nudge.

This is the cheapest gasoline on the island and is covenient before returning your rental vehicle…read more It's about 5 miles away from the airport and is right next to the main Costco warehouse in an industrial area. Plan on making this your first stop to get your water, and supplies. They carry all three feades of gasoline and diesel too! As I understand, their fuel is Tier one quality, which has all the ingredients to make your vehicle run the best with added detergents and quality octanes for your specific vehicle.

Got into the car and pulled out the most measly looking price of backbone I'd every seen I've heard stories of this happening to tourists but didn't expect it to happen to me I went back in and laid it on the counter and said, excuse me, I asked for a drumstick, not a backbone, and they apologized while the ladies in the back watched and they were laughing. My girlfriend that has lived on the island for the last 20 years, apologized for them and said that she should've gone in with me. I will say the fried chicken was good, but not worth the customer service

It has a good selection of snacks to choose from as well as drinks. Perfect for our little road trip around the island. It has a small parking lot on the side and a few gas pumps. When we were there the gas was $3.01 per gallon.

Don't shop here. They repeatedly double charge, assuming you won't notice. Such a racket!read more
