This is one tough pharmacy to review, because the actual employees are fantastic. The store staff?…read moreFriendly, funny, professional. The pharmacy team? Impressively efficient for a place where some customers routinely arrive looking like they just survived hand-to-hand combat with the American healthcare system. I live across the street (so convenient) but may need to drive elsewhere due to the issue with the so-called "ExtraCare" program, which increasingly feels less like a rewards program and more like a social experiment in corporate gaslighting. I pay monthly for promised discounts, yet every few days the system mysteriously kicks me out. One minute I'm enrolled, the next I'm standing at checkout completely disenfranchised while the cashier says, "Huh... it deactivated again." And to be crystal clear: this is NOT the fault of the employees. They repeatedly fix the issue with patience, humor, and professionalism. But when a paid membership keeps "accidentally" disappearing right before discounts apply, over and over and over again, reasonable people start asking reasonable questions. I have every reason to believe it is a scam. And that would be criminal. At this point, I've documented so many reactivations that I could probably teach a graduate seminar called Advanced Longs Drugs Fraud Detection. The pattern is so absurdly consistent that I've contacted an attorney for advice on legal action regarding what I believe are fraudulent business practices. Because if customers are paying for benefits that repeatedly vanish unless they catch the error themselves, that's not "ExtraCare." That's "Extra Charges." I genuinely hope the company fixes this, because the kind and professional employees deserve better than corporate systems that make customers feel like they're trapped in a subscription-based episode of Black Mirror.
