I have come here for lash extensions before and they turn out great, so no complaints there. But today at the salon and instructors and even some students are a little bit of a different story. I have NEVER had a stylist tell me that they wouldn't do my hair. I have previously only gone to salons and not the school. My SIL mentioned she got her hair done here and it was cheaper so I thought why not. I do have fine, and medium thickness hair. I went in for partial highlights and a trim. I guess I have some new growth and breakage so they said to not compromise the integrity of my hair that it was a bad idea and wouldn't look good. While I appreciate their honesty, I still think it could have been done. They did do the trim and the offered a shampoo. I declined that as i was already frustrated. Any other professional I've been to had been able to do exactly as I asked and it turned out good everytime. Never any issues that this school had. And I understand that they are student and are learning, i completely understand that. But you're going to be working on all kind and types of peoples hair. So this could have been a learning opportunity or a new skill to acquire...I'm not sure if I'll ever be back at the salon but maybe for my lash extensions but definitely not the salon. read more

I have had the opportunity to get my hair done , and the service from the receptionist, the teachers and the students is always excellent.

I went in for a wash and trim and I'm not satisfied what so ever . The wash and conditio was ok but the trim is fucked up bad. The back is so short and the front sides are the same length and I told her I have layers and she clearly didn't care and my hair looked trash and the style was bad and I said I prefer length over volume and I guess she didn't care either and she was rushing like if you couldn't do it don't take the client never visit again read more

My hairdresser, London, took time to understand the cut I wanted and the unique issues I have including fine hair with some bald spots. She selected products specifically designed to address those issues and did an amazing job washing my hair and messaging my scalp. The instructor provided guidance to London as she determined the cut that would result in our agreed upon style. They also showed me the styling techniques to use at home. Great service. read more

Everyone is welcoming from the moment of arrival to the time of checking out. Janica was the student who pampered me today with a color service. And pampered I was! My hair was in the beginning state of being neglected. My ends were frayed about 4" and the previous highlights were dull and sad. My root color had grown out almost to my shoulders while my highlights were almost down to my waist. The instructor, Jamie, jumped in and became hands on and helped the 3 students surrounding me learn how she would approach the growth and the frayed ends. Janica understood what color I wanted even though I was having a difficult time explain what I really wanted. She came through! This is the third time I have come in for highlights in 18 months and each time I have left smiling. Posted on Google Reviews also- Unprofessional staff and "teachers", I feel bad for the students. I wasn't going to write this because i'm not really a reviews person but I'm so upset about my experience. I went in with hair almost down to my waist, I was looking for a trim and ombré ends. Consultation started strong and I was feeling pretty good going into it, we agreed to an inch off many times. Student started cutting my hair and the second I realized she was going too short I asked to feel it and then to stop and she said she would get her teacher, who should've been walking around supervising but was nowhere in sight. She eventually found her teacher, and agreed it was too short and tried to "fix it" into a LOB. The teacher then proceeded to GASLIGHT ME, saying they didn't really cut much off and it still looked beautiful. I was visibly shaking and upset at this point. She asked if I wanted to do the dye service still and left me alone for what felt like forever but i'm sure was about 5 minutes or so. When she finally came back I told her no to the dye service and said there was really nothing they could do to make it better because the damage had been done. The teacher said "No not really", I wasn't offered anything complementary other than her comping the fee for the haircut, but I wasn't about to ask them to do anything more for me either, I just wanted to go home. Thankfully another student nearby noticed what was happening (thank you so much btw if you're reading this) and intervened, washed and blew out my hair so I could leave. I unfortunately left with 5-6 inches less hair in the back - when I asked for a trim multiple times. As someone who has trimmed their own hair at home for about 4 years now, this has been a truly traumatizing experience and I will not be back. I understand it is a school, I've actually attended the same school and dropped out (different location) and gotten a previous trim there. I wasn't worried because that location was professional, shout out to Arlington Location. Basically - I expected more, and I am shocked by the way I was treated by specifically the short grey haired woman. I will insert photos also. The photo with the green jacket was before the appointment and the yellow tone photos are from after. It was long all the way around but I had longer face framing pieces, I also clearly had dead ends. Now it is super short in the back and it was kept longer in front/on sides. Entirely not what I asked for and extremely choppy and unfixable unless I take off even more length. I'm devastated. Edit: Checking this next day and wow. I wish I would have read the 1 star comments about all the people with this same experience. I'm so sorry y'all. If you happen to read this before going here, DO NOT GO!! read more

I went to ogle for my first haircut in over 2 years and had Alicia Alejo for my stylist. I hadn't had my hair messed with in a while because I have had a lot of bad experiences in the past. She made me feel like I was in great hands, she went over all the obstacles I was having with my hair as far as dryness and texture. I knew I was in good plans by her attention to detail, she was very persistent about making sure she did everything evenly (which I've had problems with in the past). I left very happy with my hair looking healthy and now I can better maintain it! She always was great to talk to I look forward to being in her chair again! read more

I always went Ogle to have my hair done when money was tight and when their Ridgmar location in Fort Worth closed, I couldn't find them for the longest time. I saw yesterday when driving by. They didn't have time to give me a color because it was late in the day but I was able to get a haircut. Crystale my student hairdresser was awesome. Don't try to become a student at this place. Lack of communication entirely. They will do everything they can to get your money. They will try to trap you into a government loan without giving you any information whatsoever. They will give you the runaround for any question you have. Especially Taneisha, the main advisor. She's awful at providing any type of helpful answer. It's obvious they only care about that money. I nearly accepted $8000 worth of loans because they led me to believe this was a grant. Definitely do your own research on how to go about joining school, because the financial advisors are an absolute joke. Don't come here for school, and don't come here to get anything done. I checked my email and recieved an offer from Ogle. They were having a makeup application and lash special for $21.00 I was like Yolo! I mean, You Only Live Once! I decided to make my appointment over the phone. Surprisingly, the time slot I wanted was available! Thank God! I chose to go on a Saturday at 3:30 pm. I arrived promptly to my appointment and was seen right away. Marisol asked me, if I had an idea of what I wanted. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did my makeup and lashes. It took an hour and fifteen minutes but, I was happy with the results. If you ever feel like helping a student. I would encourage you to come here. You allow a student to gain practical experience and build clientele. read more
