They listen, really, Listen, to what you want. The students cut my daughter's hair, but Maria or her son are always right there supervising, teaching, fixing, etc, all the things an instructor should be doing. Maria cuts my hair and I always leave happy. This place isn't close or convenient to my house, but it's totally worth the drive. I love the multi-cultural experience. Not sure how to describe that, but it's just neat being in an environment that really, truly welcomes all ethnicities and knows how to handle all those different hair types. I'm loving watching this business grow bigger and better through the years!

I went in today after lunch (around 1) because they practically shut down for lunch. I signed in and was told that it would be an hour and a half wait for a pedicure. So I left to go shopping, called back about an hour later, and was told that I could come right in - there was no wait. I left my phone number when I checked in. It really irritated me that they didn't call me and then it REALLY irritated me when I showed up and there were 3 available students (the one I got, and one giving a pedi to the student I had last time). I'm sure I could have come in much earlier if they had called me when they were ready for me.

My daughter liked it well enough, different stations for what I best could call play learning ... kind of like a big play date. If we needed after school care or "part-time" day care again then we would look into using them again ...

I never expected to go to a cosmetology school and receive such good customer service as i did! I was put with a student by the name of Arieon and i think he changed my way of taking care of my hair! I'm natural meaning i have no relaxer and i was visiting the school initially to just get a shampoo blow-dry because i was getting ready to get extensions the next day and wanted to make it as easy as possible for my hair to be braided and i also didn't think it was possible for my hair to be straightened and actually stay frizz free, but he convinced me that he could get it straight so i sat back and let him work!!! When he shampoo'd my hair he explained every product he used for me and why he used that product, everything about him was very professional, and not to mention his hair was gorgeous,it was almost as he had been doing hair for years..there were other students coming by asking for pointers for their clients that they had in their chairs,which made me even more comfortable! When he was done with me i felt like he had put extension in my hair because i had never saw my hair look like that or feel like it did(He's a beast with the flat iron) it looked so good and healthy i canceled my appointment for extensions the next day, he also gave me all the tips and tricks for at-home care and before i go to bed.My hair had so much shine and body! i had to get his information because i definitely will see him until he graduates and he has won me as a lifetime client! There was a time I never would have considered going to a school to get my hair done because I was always scared they would mess my hair up, but I finally got tired of spending all the high prices that the big salons charge. I went to Ogle the first time for a color and cut. Sunni was my stylist and she is AMAZING! I have NEVER received so many compliments on my hair before. She did exactly what I wanted, how I wanted it. She never tried to talk me into something she knew I didn't want. Needless to say, I have been back repeatedly and every time I request Sunni. I have had color done 3 times and actually got a spiral perm. Without a doubt, Sunni is definitely worth her weight in gold and I will be so sad when she graduates. I will totally go back to paying the high prices if it means I can follow her wherever she goes! Sunni, good luck in your future! If you plan on getting your education here please reconsider. They do everything they can to send you home and make it impossible to make up hours. They are biased and abusive to the students. Im a veteran and I can tell you I'd rather go back to the military than deal with the commander and chief of ogle that they call a program director. Completely unreasonable and hateful woman who's obsessed with power. The supplies are very limited and you have to beg to use them. You are only taught how to use and sell dermalogica because they are sponsored through them. This is training to be a dermalogica sales rep and nothing else. Wanna learn lash extensions, waxing, or using literally any other brand...not gonna learn it here. They are so cheap and under staffed. I spend most of my time cleaning so I don't get yelled at for having nothing to do. Go ANYWHERE other than ogle for an education. read more

I have never been to a hair salon and walked out happy so I can admit I was very nervous going to a school. I am soooo impressed with my results! I love them and have received soo many compliments on my hair! I can not remember the director or teacher that was there last night but what a wonderful and knowledgeable lady! My hair stylist was Samantha Cannon and was just amazing! She took her time and treated my hair as if it was her own. WHAT A PERFECTIONIST!! Not only were her skill with my hair amazing but her personality and conversation made me want to stay and go back more often! She is great! I've been going on and off to Ogles for 30+ years and have only had 1 time when I had to come back and have something corrected but even then they were great about it. It's a school so as long as you know that and plan the time for it, they do a great job and are thorough. And they ask questions both of their clients and their instructors to avoid screwing it up (which some long time stylists don't do, I know!). And, ofcourse you can't beat the price. I have a lot of hair which would cost me a fortune at a regular salon. read more

I got my hair done by Javonne, a student stylist and she did an amazing job straightening my natural hair. I also got eyelash extensions by Alex, another student and they look so amazing. I have been inside a few schools but none have shown the discipline or professionalism that true stylist must show as the students there. I have used a few of the stylist there and have been totally happy.. Its good prices & very professional results! And my next appointment would have been a 3rd. Simple because either the student left or kept being unavailable for personal reasons. Well not anymore. After having gone to the school numerous times without a single issue. Now they no longer work with males. So with having a scheduled appointment I was called and told we will not work with you anymore unless you know your specific stylus. Well I've been bounced around so much and the person who I was scheduled with left I don't know anyone. But apparently within the hour they made a sexist discriminatory rule to no longer work with males. Now I received the first call from a receptionist and asked for a call back from an actual person who can answer legitimate questions. The person who called me back didn't do that. I have a right to be upset. What ended up happening is the beyond rude person who contacted me back refused to admit the new practice was both sexist and discriminatory. Basically said you don't like it go somewhere else. Took the stance on we have the right to refuse service to anyone. And that is true and that's fine. But the reality you are limiting the students the ones you're actually trying to teach. I've don't nothing wrong in anyway shape or form. I don't know why this has come about but the way this was handled was beyond unprofessional. As a paying customer. Due to the numerous rescheduling I've allowed. ( today was the first time I had to reschedule ) It is better I go somewhere else. Now for those who plan on going to this school. Be cautious. It is apparent your teachings will be limited. This review will be posted in as many places as possible. I am determined to make others aware of the complete disrespect I experienced for no reason from this establishment.

She did so good and explained the products she was using in my hair. She gave me a few tips on how to manage by hair better as well! She took her time and we took some pictures afterwards and I absolutely loved it and got compliments throughout the day! Although I came in for Bree, the student in the station next to her, Dani, also greeted me which I found very pleasant! The next girl I came in to see was Zoey L for a 30 minute facial, a brow tent, and a 60 minute facial (all separate appointments). I felt so comfortable with Zoey, she's so kind and helpful. My tips to the stylist who worked with me today on what Ogle calls a "silk press" (wash,blow dry, flat iron) 1)start the process once your client is in the chair instead of just hanging out waiting for an instructor to sign a paper 2) ask your client what style before starting 3) don't simultaneously play and text on your phone when you're already pretty slow at each step. 4) speed and technique come with experience so pay attention to your client not your phone, Ogle is not high school. To the instructor at Arlington, try doing like the instructor at the Dallas locations and the location in Denton and INSTRUCT the students. Help them be successful. Good grief. I will not go back there.

Well, I do not know where to even start. My ex husband (and FBI Special Agent) chose this facility…read moreand enrolled them by Mrs. Jaimie Cain, the director at that time. Mrs. Cain- Preemptively enrolled my children in this daycare even though my ex and I share 50/50 custody and everything went down hill from there. ( They are only profit driven at least at this location) The kids continue to tell me that there is never any soap refilled in the dispensers and therefore my children were coming home sick every other week because basic safety features were not followed. Moving forward- The accounting department knew we were 50/50 custody and I asked a number of times to type up two different accounts so my ex (The FBI Special Agent) and I can keep our billing different. Things got progressively worse here and we came to a head when Mrs. Cain didn't know my children's whereabouts, even though they ride the CLA busses. How is this safe?? I own and operate a small business myself and I would never care for my patients the way CLA care for their children and respective families. I am a doctor and I am appalled that Mrs. Cain did not follow the divorce decree from day 1 and went by the verbal consent of my ex Mr. FBI Special Agent. I cannot speak any worse of this facility. My girls were called into the office and nothing was ever documented if it made the center look bad. Clearly, this business is profit driven and I will not cower to speak my mind just because my ex-husband Mr. FBI SPECIAL AGENT TRIED TO TRUMP ME and the school didn't follow our divorce decree. Ironically- Mrs. Jaimie Cain has stepped down and now they are under a different management.
