They lost a customer this week. It has nothing to do with the students, they were very kind and did great. This review is for the ghetto front desk "manager" named Rebecca. She is the rudest person in that building. Zero customer service, not one ounce of kindest, didn't smile once and treats people like we're a bother to her. She looks and acts like she hates her life and is living a miserable life. Her attire looked like she rolled out of bed and didn't brush her hair. She changed our service claiming we were 30 min late, even though I had a voice confirmation stating the time. As a result of changing our services, she charged me incorrectly. Nearly $30 over the amount owed. I realized it when I got in my car, went back in to ask for a refund, she played dumb then said "it'll be back on my card in 24 hours". She refused to give me a receipt to confirm the refund or swiped my card to put the money back. It's day 2 and still no refund. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who has to work with her. read more

I had an appointment with my previous technician and she called out. Luckily, I was put with Victoria Cruz, who was so professional. She did a wonderful job and she was extremely sufficient. The appointment went through without any issues. So much that I rescheduled with her. She was young and talented and she's going to make a great stylist. read more

I've been coming to this hair school for the past 2 and a half years or so upon my mother's suggestion and I haven't had a bad experience yet. They do my hair amazingly and for a great price and it's hard for someone who's mixed like me to find people knowledgeable enough to do my hair otherwise, they've helped me tremendously during my natural hair journey. From silk presses, to color, to natural, to trims, and hair cuts. They've done those on me! As a person who was terrified of hair stylists and started doing their hair on their own out of aversion due to past experiences they've given me hope. I typically stay with one stylist until they graduate and so far two have graduated, I know one of them has opened up their own salon! I recommend coming to the Ogle hair studio in hurst if you're debating it like I once was! read more

I was able to get in at the time of my appointment. I was seen Juanae who did an amazing job on my hair. It took a little longer than expected however it was worth the wait. The prices are unbeatable especially for the service. The only things that I would point out is that when the students were ready to get started, there was no teacher available to sign off for the stylist to get started. I thought that was the only area that could use improvement. The front desk staff is very nice and attentive. The place was clean and well kept. And the students seem to be enjoying themselves. We arrived on time and checked in and were told that there was a 5 - 10 minute wait. 40 minutes later the woman working the front came and asked who we were and said she was going to check to see if there was anyone who could do the work on my son's hair. She said she would be back in a few minutes. She walked around and then went back to working the front desk and never came to talk to us. yaneisha gave me the cutest hair today. i came in with a wack half bleached, grown out mess and she got me right. she fixed my bleach mess (yellow, banding, about 4 inches of my natural hair grown out) and gave me the dark brown i wanted on top. most of the instructors were so sweet too and present to make sure everything was on track. the other students at the school were also so welcoming and sweet. when my hair was finished, one of the instructors told me she could charge 1k for my hair if she wasn't in school lol. talentedddd girl, good atmosphere, good DAY. read more
