My tips to the stylist who worked with me today on what Ogle calls a "silk press" (wash, blow dry, flat iron) 1)start the process once your client is in the chair instead of just hanging out waiting for an instructor to sign a paper 2) ask your client what style before starting 3) don't simultaneously play and text on your phone when you're already pretty slow at each step. 4) speed and technique come with experience so pay attention to your client not your phone, Ogle is not high school. To the instructor at Arlington, try doing like the instructor at the Dallas locations and the location in Denton and INSTRUCT the students. Help them be successful. Good grief. I will not go back there.

I visited this salon while in Dallas, TX, for a work trip, and it was honestly one of the worst…read morehair experiences I've ever had. I booked a 5:30 PM appointment wanting to refresh my blonde hair and showed Madison (Madi) an inspiration photo. Tona, who was supervising her, also helped. Communication was terrible, and I felt rushed the entire time. At one point, I noticed my hair turning dark and questioned Tona, but she dismissed my concern, saying it was just toner. They rushed through washing and drying my hair because they were closing. I left with red roots, green and muddy tones, and completely uneven hair. I was devastated and even cried after strangers pointed out how green my hair looked. The dye also transferred all over my pillow that night. When I requested a refund, they refused and only offered to fix it, despite knowing I was traveling and that Uber cost me $50 each way. I agreed, but when I called to explain I was stuck in traffic, they told me they couldn't take me anymore. When I arrived, they said they were closing and could only partially fix my hair. Megan was the ONLY person who showed kindness and communicated with me, but she was limited in what she could do. My hair ended up darker, uneven, and completely different from what I requested. I paid a lot of money on the trip to the salon and there only to leave feeling embarrassed and heartbroken. I would have respected their honesty if they couldn't do my hair properly instead of rushing through it. I called and even ask if i can send a photo of my hair and they said no just come in. Madi and Tonya made me feel dismissed, and the lack of professionalism and accountability was extremely disappointing. I no longer feel confident with my hair, and I would not recommend this salon.
