My friend did the single meat pulled pork and she loved it and also had leftovers. The kids got kid's meal burgers and fries and were very happy with them. I loved the decor, the western paintings and cowboy hats, etc there was live music and two long shuffle board tables the kids enjoyed. The bar was massive and packed. First of all TSB is small, and the parking is a little tough. I managed to grab an open parking spot right in front and then got one of the three seats at the bar area. It looked like there was seating upstairs which is good because there wasn't much downstairs. Coosane NEIPA was a very tasty IPA. Wulver's Moon Scottish wee heavy wasn't bad but not my favorite Scotch ale. Although this is one of my favorite styles overall. Thelonius Funk hoppy black saison definitely had a hop flavor to it but it was pretty light. Mad Eye Raven rye oatmeal stout on nitro is one I had to try as I'm partial to beers on nitro. I liked this one. I only got a hint of the rye and I'm not sure I would have picked it out if I weren't clued in. Still, I enjoyed it as the rye was just kind of a bonus for me. I wasn't there long but the brewer was hanging out chatting with a couple of customers which is always cool. The whole place had a very friendly vibe and I would have stayed longer if I didn't have to be up before the crack of dawn tomorrow. It took about an hour for us to receive a mac and cheese, a pizza, an order of pierogi's and a quesadilla. My husbands food never hit the table (a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap.) Other families who ordered right after us- it took an hour and 20 minutes to get the food. Pizza- My family said it was ok Pierogi's- (potato & cheese) was there any cheese in it? A lot of potato (pro tip: ask for some liquid cheese served with the pretzels for dipping!) Mac & Cheese- they put nutmeg in it. my opinion: nutmeg doesn't belong in mac & cheese. quesadilla- (cheese) HUGE portion! extra crispy cheese on the edges. I like this style! Then... the line! This is the food ordering, beer ordering and bill pay line. My husband was in line for over 15 minutes to pay the bill. I actually don't even know exactly how long because I had to leave him there to pay while I got the kids to the tournament! The challenge is food getting to the table in reasonable timeframes, hot and on time (apps not arriving at the same time as main course). There is an issue with the clarity of the service model. This past Sunday evening is a great example. Not busy. Server more focused on closing at 5:45pm than our table. Didn't see for long periods. One of our three appetizers came out ahead of time the other two arrived with dinner and they were warm at best. When dinner did arrive, the onion rings were cold. I said it wasn't necessary. I just want to provide the feedback because I love the venue, the beer and the pub food. The building itself is really nice on a snowy or rainy day, with a big open hall that warms with a crowd and a few more private spaces. On a nice day there's a whole Golf course to roam, and a nice big balcony and patio to enjoy. Caution that it's a bit of a victim of its own popularity. The parking gets full as does the building. On a bad weather day it gets really full, and loud. If you hate children, this is not ideal. The balcony fills on nice days. All of that said even on the most crowded day we were able to show with a large group and find a table in less than 20 minutes.

I first visited these guys when they were operating out of a small barn, and seeing the evolution to this 53,000 sq ft, $18.5M facility is seriously impressive. They follow a "direct-to-consumer" model -- selling everything right out the front door -- and they've mastered it. I've been here many times over the years and go whenever I have the opportunity, which says everything. Tried some of their standout beers -- King Julius is the gold standard, consistently ranked among the best beers in the world. Their flagship Julius is just as impressive, with massive notes of mango and peach -- incredibly well balanced and executed. There are usually food trucks on site, which adds to the experience -- you can enjoy a fresh pour while picking up your take-home haul. Fun fact: On BeerAdvocate's all-time Top 250 list, Tree House often has 30+ beers featured, something almost no other brewery can match.
