The staff is super friendly. Something did not resonate with me about the prognosis I received and I found another holistic practice for a second opinion. Not only was original Prognosis not fully accurate, the cost would have been 1,000% higher than I ended up paying. I think Hazen can become a great holistic dentist once she's gotten more experience under her belt.

Slight discomfort and Heather was considerate with topical lidocaine. The cleanliness and process was incredible. Review of bacterial, ozone water and air filtration. I was with my prior Dentist for 30 yr. I was not able to have treatment for 3 years - due to COVID. He changed practice and that office did not accept my insurance. This stressed me to the max.....as I have anxiety. The professional and caring staff...indeed helped my anxiety. Informing about probiotics and stressing importance of flora throughout my system / in balance to enable health teeth and gums .....I feel that this is a positive and healthy environment and change.

Be careful to get everything in writing with these folks…read more They are verbally very pleasant yet shrewd business people. That is what you want in a lawyer, not an orthodontist. If you tend to give people and businesses the benefit of the doubt and assume they will do the right thing, just make sure you have your guard up before doing so here. They are not bashful from changing commitments on you unless you go in thinking like a lawyer yourself. I desired to do business with them, and even after what seemed an impasse, I extended one more olive branch so that this step of a review online was not necessary. In light of their choices, however, it became my duty - as a tenured Mt Dora resident - to forewarn other Mt. Dora families with school age children. Who is the warning for exactly? Families who take it for granted that a business will act with integrity and do the right thing. I received a written quote. I then got new insurance. I called the kind office staff in order to catch them up and let them know. When I did, I discovered that I qualified for a discount. You can imagine my excitement! I called back to get things in motion and start my child's treatment. That is when things went sideways. I was THEN told that they didn't "do that any longer" and would not honor what I was told. I had several subsequent conversations to make sure at least I was acting in good faith... to no avail. Bending over backwards, even after those conversations, i made one more attempt to avoid the need to make this known in the marketplace and giving them the opportunity to act with integrity. They. Just. Didn't. All that to say, I am sure that the care and the doctor himself are excellent. Their business side of things, however, needs some serious 'customer service' review.

The Dentist underestimated the cost of dental work and required an additional 600.00 before starting . I paid the 600.00 so a tooth could be repaired beside what the insurance would pay. The insurance carrier took 3 months to authorize the additional funds. Eventually, a check was cut for 600 dollars and sent to the dental office of KR Shah. His staff refused to reimburse me my 600 dollars and kept the "money for future dental work." After a few weeks of delays & nonsense I was cut a check. Many months later my husband was contacted by phone and by staff member Karen if we had moved ?
