The car feels much more responsive and pulls a lot stronger, especially when getting up to speed on the highway. At the same time, it still drives smooth and comfortable like an S-Class should. I am so blessed to have brought my Mercedes here today to OG performance and TUNiNG .I was blessed to be able to be serviced by the owner his name is ERCAN GENIS : pronounced (AIR-JON) I was reffered to his shop because I needed my car tuned to give more performance to give me more power performance he had ti do several test to make sure what would be needed and explained each and every step . I have never written a bad review but i have never felt scammed before Took my car here for a full screen carplay. They were able to do it. Then I was going to flash my car stage 2 a week after and all of a sudden MHD could not read the DME. I did everything to try and fix it but nothing worked. A month before this, i was still able to connect to my car through MHD to read the build date and to see if my car was already unlocked and ready to be tuned. Ogpt was the only shop that has touched and coded my car but they refused to take responsibility. They even blamed the "previous shop/owner that might've unlocked the car" when everything was fine until they did some coding and "update the software version". They said they could fix it but it would cost $1000. I had no other option but to leave it to them and fix it. I spoke to other shops on what could've caused this and they said it was definitely related to the coding/sw update. I hear great stories from this shop but my experience with them wasn't. read more

The staff here could not be any nicer. They are wonderful gentlemen and super helpful. They are tuning my LS2 after putting in a new motor, which has been in and out four times. I would look into the other similar 1 star review on here about poor communication and process before booking a tune here, and who knows probably saved myself a headache avoiding getting my vehicles tuned here. I had 4 exotics that I planned to get a tune here, the first one being a vehicle that was delayed on some parts that were not in my control. Each delivery confirmation I received from the supplier had a delay and unfortunately it was 3x. The technician I spoke with on the phone told me that rescheduling is okay and that he would take care of it and understands things happen that are not in his control. Super nice dude btw, but it seems like there's a manager and owner above him that didn't agree with this and was pretty upset. Also totally okay, but the communication and what I was told initially did not match. I expressed my feedback and the manager didn't seem to really listen much and then the owner grabbed the phone and said to go somewhere else and waste someone else's time. Um alright...? Well the call was on speaker at the performance shop I was at and I guess I'm glad it was nice to have some witnesses for that comedy skit. I'm sure the owner will reply here and say they tried to reschedule 3-4x and about not making money, but the thing is the person I was in contact with told me otherwise and it was not a problem rescheduling if delays happened, and tried to squeeze me in sooner than later every time. Also P.S to the owner, you can keep the $150 deposit. You guys seemed like you were very upset about "not making any money!!!" Looking forward to your reply again :) Edit- "otherwise we would've asked for the money up front" What companies ask for that up front when you do in person in house tuning? I love the guys at OGPT as they've recently began servicing my M6. I appreciate their quality of work as I trusted them enough to the rod bearings on my M6. Also love to hear when they advised potentially taking it somewhere due to the lack of history of them doing a certain operation. This shop was recommended to me by a close friend to tune my car. Unfortunately the process and poor communication ultimately resulted in a very unsatisfactory result. This was magnified because I live far away from the shop (Over an hour and a half) and I have a very limited amount of days that I can spend just sitting at a dyno. It started off positive and we got some good results but, after we started having some issues, I noticed this person really did not have much knowledge about tuning my car. I would have totally understood if he would have told me that he wasn't familiar with my setup and was not comfortable doing it but, we had issues. He kept insisting that the fueling was my issue, which I figured out later was definitely not the problem. He had me spend THOUSANDS of dollars on my fuel system (pump, fuel controller) which in hindsight I really did not have to spend, and could still not figure out the issue with my car. On top of all that the car drove terribly though this whole process and he kept telling me "it's the base map" 6-7 revisions into tuning the car. This "TUNE" cost me $1,700, and got me an unfinished tune, bad drivability, and poor customer service. I asked for a refund and he refused. He's inconsiderate of your time, he really does not know much about the cars he tunes nor does he know much about troubleshooting ethier. All of these issues were fixed as soon as I switched to David Shoup, who was way more knowledgeable and immediately fixed all my problems in the first BASE map. I would avoid this tuner at all cost, go with someone that knows what they're doing and then dyno your car to see the power. Having this shop do it will just make you want to rip your hair out and then he will continuously blame something that is not the issue and you will just bounce back and forth between your mechanic shop and him. Don't waste your hard earned money and time, buy a tune from David Shoup, save yourself $1,000 and have your car done right the first time. I never write reviews, but this experience really upset me and the owner did nothing to remedy the issue except respond to my emails with a ChatGPT generic response. Save yourself the headache and time, take your car somewhere else. In response to the owner that just commented: You may not be a mechanical shop but a basic understanding of the car your tuning should be required if you are going to tune high HP cars or cars in general. On top of that, you can actually see the issue on the log if you look at it for longer than a minute. This was pointed out by a mechanical shop but wait.. he's not a tuner.... would you look at that it's almost like it's connected somehow. Also, while I did the turbo; I had a BMW master tech help me with the install as well, so trying to insist it's my fault when you couldn't figure it out is exactly my point. But how would you know whether it was installed correctly or not, you're not a mechanical shop right? As you say yourself. All sarcasm aside, just own that you didn't know what was wrong and call it a day. I approached multiple tuners and all of them agreed that it was your tune that was the problem. I'll even attach the email I got back from Motiv as well for further proof. Also insulting my personal skills is really professional. As for the PayPal dispute that I filed, you are correct that you did respond but the representative that I called didn't understand me correctly when I filed that and I never meant to say there was no response. You did respond, you just didn't do a good job. Either way you got your $1,700 and didn't even have to finish the tune. Feel free to call it a win if you want. This shop is truly amazing. I have been messing with different tunes on my 230i with the b48 engine for the last 2 years and have always had difficulties with the tunes. The car never ran right at all as the car would always feel like its falling on its face when under hard acceleration. Then I turned to OG Performance and Tuning, and wow he totally revived my car. When running the car with the tune I showed up with that morning before his tune my coolant bleeder screw decided to crap the bed, so coolant started to spew out everywhere on the dyno, which is entirely not his fault. It was simply just BMW being BMW lol. We were able to go to go to AutoZone and get a new bleeder screw and more coolant, and we ended up fixing it right on the dyno. Then jumped right back into tuning it. I came in for 2 custom maps on his dyno. I went in for a custom stage 2 91 and a custom stage 2 95 map. Huge props to him despite all the little snags we had to overcome during the tunning process he stayed persistent, and he took his hole day just to get my car running 100%. Massive props as he did not just slam bam this tune and call it a day. These tunes are truly custom. Also, when he was tuning my car, he was not abusing the car at all. I am extremely happy with how the car turned out as he was able to gain me 35-45 whp over a stage 2 ots BM3 map. His 2 maps feel extremely smooth and don't feel like I'm hurting the motor at all fantastic end result as it keeps up with cars it should not be keeping up with now. Not to mention the fact that the man doing the tuning used to be one of the higher ups in the company Apple and it shows big time. Highly recommend. read more
