Even as you approach, if feels unreal because it is pretty much two buildings - a metal winery building and a small tasting room. Upon entering, we were met by the two owners. We had made a reservation, which is required, because it is so small. The only foods are pizzas that are premade that they then cooked. We did not have one, but they actually looked good. Tastings are for any 4 wines on their by the glass list. My wife and I did 8 total, sharing each one. Without a doubt, this was the absolute best wine we tasted on our day at three wineries. We very much liked all five of the reds that we sampled. We especially liked the Uva Vinum and brought some home. We also very much liked the Sod Buster. The white and rose were good, just nothing we would bring home. The owners were friendly and enthusiastic and very informative. So, overall, very very good wine, fun out of the way location, sensational service and information.

I have some favorite wines: Tempranillo Red Zinfandel Tempranillo was my favorite but I think it might be the red Zinfandel now. My wife likes sweeter wines or off dry wines and there are plenty of those also. They have tastings and plenty of other events on the weekends. They often have live music and when we went during the winter, there was a fire pit that was so nice! There was a food truck the last time that was phenomenal! They have really cool little activities also. I am jealous that I work most weekends! I recommend this business! They have a website and I think there is a FB also. Our wives loved the Moscato called Sweet Freedom -- it was a big hit. The husbands did the premium tasting, and honestly, every wine we tried was excellent. My personal favorites were the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Tempetite -- both were really good. We also shared the triple dip appetizer, and it was delicious. The artichoke dip was our favorite! The servers were awesome -- Debra was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

We selected this establishment due to it having food on the menu on the website that we looked at prior to leaving for the vineyard. Upon being seated, a menu was handed to us with no explanation. When the waitress came back over we asked for the mixed wine flight and 2 flatbreads. She explained to us that the kitchen was closed (the was at 1:30 pm and the waitress never communicated it out when handing us the menus that the kitchen was closed nor did the website mention it) and that the only thing we could get was chips and hummus. Since we were hungry, we asked for the chips and hummus. She came back with our first pours and she added that each pour was 1 oz. which I highly doubt due to it just barely filling up the glass. I asked her how she knew how much she was pouring and she said "I just guess". We did the next pour, then on the third pour she was pouring the last wine on the menu. We explained to her that she skipped the 3rd wine and proceeded to argue with us. She finally brought us the 3rd wine after debate then the fourth. Wine was very good. The table next to us received a charcutier board and then realized she never brought us any chips or hummus. It was at this point we realized, we were not going to get the service that we desired. We asked for our check and paid. We left straight from there to another winery where the food was good, service was great and staff were friendly and accommodating. Given the ingredients included on this super tiny small "pizza" and the exorbitant cost, the profit markup on this menu item has to be HUGE! Since the winery was busy, we heard other disappointed guests try to order charcuterie boards to also be upset that none were to be had on that day. Our sommelier was knowledgeable about all of the wines....and I am assuming was the owner/manager of the vineyard. We opted to buy 6 bottles of wine at a mere savings and had wanted to open one of them to enjoy while we were there. Then, the "catch" came....we had to buy an ADDITIONAL bottle to open while being seated as the "cost savings" offer was only available as a "carry out". Our tasting service was slow and the cost for tastings far exceeds what we are used to given the MANY Texas wineries we have visited. While the ambiance is idyllic and the facility is clean, a business only gets ONE chance to make a good first impression. Like other reviews, that have been recently posted, we left and found a nearby winery that offered great food, reasonable prices and fantastic service. His polite and professional manner adds quality to the entire experience. He takes time to explain all aspects of one's meal experience and more. Since we were there for brunch, there is a "limited" menu....but, all of the brunch menu is delicious! The chef even came out to check on us and it was easy to give her praise! The ambiance is inviting and emotes an "Italian vineyard"-like vibe. One can easily get swept away by the gorgeous decor! We missed the live music that accompanied our first brunch. But, we will continue to keep this great restaurant as part of our upcoming Sunday routines!
