You know, it's always a good time when it's a karaoke bar especially with the right crowd. Staff are good here with the service. They can surely take care a large group of people who been drinking a lot. I love how they have the oldies, new stuff and even some vpop and kpop songs here. Anything and everything for anyone. The ultra VIP room is my favorite, a big roomy room with a stage inside. This is a 21 and up crowd. If you're in the mood to change it up and dance, there's a club called throwback right next door that's connected.

This is the worst bar I've ever been to in Kansa city. I found pubic hair in my tequila shot. And they kicked out my friend who blinked.

Their Prices shot up to rent a private room. $60 per hour. Not worth it. We enjoyed our first few visits but no more. Go somewhere else

You get two hours in the Igloo, with complimentary hot cocoa and delicious cookies. It's super cute! I went with the girls but this is definitely date night worthy. You can order food and drinks also. I ordered the Birria Bites, Pomme Frites and Snickerdoodle Martini. My friends ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Wings, Pomme Frites and the Lemon Thyme Soda Mocktail. The Birria Bites were a 6/10. The Snickerdoodle Martini 10/10. My friends thought the chicken wings were about a 5/10. They liked their mocktail. We all agreed the Pomme Frites were good. 8/10. Cookies were a 10/10. The overall experience itself is a definite 10/10 recommend! I'd do it again.

Also tried the snickerdoodle martini which was amazing and I wish I was able to have another. It has a very aesthetic, elevated feel. I ordered the burnt end flatbread, which had great flavor, but it could've used a little more time in the oven for a better crisp. The crème brûlée was a bit disappointing, as it didn't have that classic crunchy top that you expect. That being said, the espresso martini was one of the best I've had in a while definitely a highlight. We just ordered two apps and a couple drinks but they all were amazing! I would love to come here again and get an entree as well as try other things. The restaurant is located pretty high up in the hotel so you also have a fun view. The vibes are just right giving a slightly elevated atmosphere. It wasn't busy at all so their was no wait which was nice since we were on a schedule! Overall, this is a great spot if you are staying at the Fontaine or in the area.

Plush velvet, marble, a giant butterfly chandelier, lists upon lists of spirits. The whole thing is wildly opulent. Even the restaurant admits that no expense was spared creating the space. We looked around for a minute before a server noticed us and was like "uhhh we'll put you here at the end of the bar." Our bartender was fine but the other guy was doing all this flare and nonsense to get everyone's attention. He was the loudest person at the bar and inserted himself in our conversation twice. He clearly wanted attention which we found annoying and distracting. The drinks were good and the vibe was generally good. A nice eclectic mix of people. The DJ was great too! The service staff seemed very rough in both their interactions and their appearance. I hadn't been here in years, but I remember it being a far more refined and polished experience than what he had last night. Lastly, I don't think our $50 deposit was applied to our check. I forgot about it until this morning and didn't bring the receipt home. We each only had one drink and my total charge was $52. Not the end of the world but just another point in how they don't appear to be as on top of their service as I've previously experienced.

Nestled inside the ultra-luxurious Raphael Hotel, this upscale Restaurant/jazz club had our group feeling like we were heading to a high-society adult prom. The ambiance practically demands a raised eyebrow and a sophisticated toast. Naturally, the libations were flowing. On one end of the table sat a chocolate martini so decadent it looked borderline sinful. On the polar opposite end of the spectrum, I ordered an extra-dirty Chopin martini, complete with blue-cheese-stuffed olives. Look, it didn't reinvent the wheel, but it was executed exactly the way I'd make it at home--assuming I could ever actually find a bottle of Chopin in any of our local liquor establishments. (Seriously, who is hoarding it?) We kicked things off with the gourmet bread basket. Do yourself a favor and cough up the extra $5 for the super soft bread and whipped butter; your tastebuds will thank you for not being cheap. For my starter, I opted for the she-crab soup, which presented itself as a spectacularly rich crab bisque. Word on the street is that she-crab Is vastly superior to he-crab. This is a PG-rated review, so I shall leave the mechanics to your imagination. Then came the piece de résistance: the 12-ounce ribeye, flanked by asparagus spears and Delmonico potatoes. This sucker was thick. When I asked our waitress for a proper steak knife, she politely pointed to my standard-issue butter knife and confidently declared, "That's it!" I thought she was joking. She wasn't. Melt-in-your-mouth is an understatement; this medium-rare masterpiece yielded to a butter knife like it was soft brie. The sides were equally stellar. The Delmonico potatoes were a beautifully elevated, elite version of scalloped potatoes, and the asparagus was snappy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The evening's only tragic misstep was the cheesecake. It, too, was incredibly thick--but in all the wrong ways. While fortunately not overbaked, the texture resembled a very well-flavored, highly gourmet paste. To add insult to injury, the graham cracker crust had completely surrendered its structural integrity, offering none of the classic crunch I crave. Minor dessert tragedy aside, it was a phenomenal evening. The service was impeccable, the vibe was unmatched, and that steak alone warrants a return visit. Next time, I'll just be exploring a different corner of the dessert menu.
