On 3.05.24, the last night of our trip, we decided to try this place right around the corner since some of the other places on our list had scheduling issues.
The place is small but is busy, and the staff is super attentive and friendly. We ordered the Diavola Pizza for takeaway and were told it would be ready in 5 minutes.
This pizza came out in the time promised and off we were sent with smiles and farewells on our one-minute walk back to the flat to enjoy it.
The smell that hit us when we opened the box was amazing. The pizza had been sliced into four pieces, ideal for folding and eating as intended. The thin crust was crisp and charred just right - it had the taste of a Neapolitan wood fired pizza. The sauce was legit and the cheese was just enough. For the spice, the salami delivered.
All in all, this was an excellent meal to have on our last night - it paired nicely with a Rioja and made for a satisfying conclusion to a trip that was filled with tremendous culinary experiences.
We hope to have it again. read more
