I was at the Aspley store today looking for an ergonomic chair for my home office. Upon entering I was asked by Leo if he could help me with anything, I told him what I was looking for and he showed me to the office chairs. He was highly knowledgable, friendly and eager to help. Staff are always asking if I need anything but if there is something I need they can't answer Always long waits at printing desk and not very helpful compared to other stores. Decent range, good opening hours, reasonable prices. The staff are mostly absent and if you can pin one down they're completely useless. They tend to congregate in groups, chatting to each other. Despite there being music playing over the PA system, the computer section always has loud music blaring out also. This wouldn't be so bad if it was decent music, but it tends to be death metal or misogynistic rap songs. Having something delivered from this store? Don't expect it to show up on time. Their phone manner is complete unprofessional too. Worst Officeworks in Brisbane? Not sure, I haven't tried them all. read more

Being told to go to the self serve printing to print out isn't what I call good service. Yet, while standing at the self serve printer they print numerous random customers printing is just infuriating. It seems they choose what they print out for you and what they won't. They said we are to busy to print mine but I didn't get that impression while standing there. When I complained I was told by the manager she stands by the staff member who told me to print it myself. Maybe, you should utilise the door person who stands there (sometimes in packs) to offer a "greeting"upon entering the store. We all know its security and most, if not all customers find this type of "fake" welcoming just off putting when you enter a store. Less focus on people standing around and more people in the printing area could solve the problem. It's always the same in this store smiling doesn't solve problems its just a type of passive aggressive customer service. read more

I wish I could rave about the Aspley store because it's our local store but it almost impossible to find a staff member on the floor and they usually look highly irritated that you have interrupted there packing of stock on to shelves. Limited range due to small store size. My biggest gripe is the new printing policy where it takes a minimum of 24 hours to do a few colour photo copy prints. Ridiculous! Strathpine store is where we usually shop instead. read more
