We felt awful keeping him late and apologized; he genuinely seemed to not care that he was late closing and was very helpful. Very few places have office furniture in Des Moines, NONE have the selection of JG's. They have both new and used and I purchased a little bit of both. They have fake plants, real plants, art, desks, shelving, chairs and they even had some really cool lockers. Jake stayed after close helping us get measurements (even though he knew we were not buying anything that night) and then went out of his way to make sure I had a quote that night so I could decide on what I wanted. He was very accommodating and even put up with my back and forth on a couple items. He made sure it was delivered quickly so my office was up and running and then met me Saturday (they're closed Saturdays) when I decided I wanted an office chair. I can't say enough good things about this company. Iowa owned and operated (as in the family actually works there)! Took in a desktop PC that was running slow and they thought right away the problem was the…read moremechanical hard drive. I originally went in on a Thursday,. and they suggested I come back in the following Monday so that they could get to it more quickly. I brought it back in that Monday, and hadn't heard back, so I called Friday and they told me it looked ok overall (no viruses, etc.), but the hard drive replacement should help. I told them to go ahead with the work. I got a call the following Wednesday afternoon telling me it was done. The first week was a holiday week, so the swap took just over 6 business days. The fix is fantastic! All the files, etc. were cloned perfectly to the new hard drive, which is amazingly faster than the previous one. From looking at the work order, I can see where they did the work pretty efficiently, they just didn't contact me to move ahead as promptly. The computer was done 2 days before I was notified it was ready, and there was a day lag from evaluation to me calling them to check in and move ahead with the new hard drive. So, all in all, I'm very happy with the end result and the work that was done. There were just some opportunities to get things moving a bit faster to cut down on the time I was without the computer.

Given incorrect information, and trying to push to get me to pay for more service. Hire people who actually wants to be there and train to know the basics of computers. Back again and it's even worse, Casey is terrible in customer service. Fed ex does not care I only go because the company I'm sending to is paying for the postage.

He asked me to come back in 3 hours, i called first he said for sure in an hour. Three hours after that he finally got it back. They charged about $100 more than other places, but his work was solid and he had the parts in stock that day. They seemed honest and my phone repair was correct. It was just expensive and slow. What's that saying again? You can have quality, speed or price... you only get to pick two.
