He was one of the most professional, meticulous and genuinely kind people that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Not only did he place my already small pieces of paper into the slim shredder slot, he checked around the bin to make sure nothing remained on the floor. All the while he maintained a great thoughtful attitude!! I almost wished we could hire him in my office but I am sure that he will prosper wherever he goes. Keep it up Thomas and thank you for being so wonderful!!

I bought a few small notepads for my mom at Staples today. When I got home, I reviewed the receipt…read morebecause the total seemed unusually high. I realized the $21.99 charge was for 5x8 notepads, which no longer have price tags on the items themselves. After checking Amazon, I found similar notepads for about half the price--or less, with many around $7. I admit I should have checked prices more carefully, but I didn't expect such a large markup from Staples. The service and product quality are above average, but the value simply isn't there. I'll only shop here in the future if I don't have time to order online. That said, the young woman who answered my questions on the phone afterward was polite and cheerful. Because of her excellent customer service, I'm giving this store two stars instead of the one star the pricing alone would deserve.

I needed a work chair for my home office and they gave me not just a great, but a fantastic deal on a brand-new chair, from a major brand name. Spencer, the Manager (and co-owner) was extremely patient with me, and had me try a bunch of chairs and advised me on the plus/minus of each one, and helped me find one that was best-suited (ergonomically) for my very sensitive back. He knew I was ready to pay more and could have charged me way more, but did not - I had not expected to find such honesty, amazing customer service and, product selection in this day and age. Also, the vibe in their showroom of the staff was very welcoming and they were all very friendly and super-helpful. These folks are a paragon of excellence and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat - I highly recommend them.
