So, after noticing the Labor Day Sale here, I decided to check them out. Also, because I need more space in my bedroom, I downsized to an adjustable twin bed. Though, even with the sales price, I was shocked at how much it still was (with tax, over $2,800.00; gotta blame the tariffs)! And, I was ready to walk out the door. But, the "Sleep Expert" on duty, Khrystal,:who was very helpful, professional and friendly, asked me to wait a couple of minutes, and she'd do what she could to get the price down. Personally, I think, she went above, and beyond, in getting me the best price possible. In the end, it cost me just over $2K. An additional savings of over $800.00. :-)

Very friendly employees and the store is laid out so that you can find things easily...as you graze through the many isles. They have a 40% off coupon always available on their website. Their sales rotate, so if it is not on sale this week and you can wait a week, the odds are good it will be on sale then. The only downfall is they are not open on Sundays (understandable why) but it is always when one little thing is needed!

However the name Hobby Lobby makes it sound a lot more fun than it is; while crafting is a hobby I was expecting more of the store like a Michael's store. There was a lady at the cash register and when I walked inside the store she said welcome to dollar tree ask me if you need any help, the place was pretty full and she was the only checkout lane open so I don't know how she would have helped me. After I looked around I went to the checkout lane and it was she was pretty fast at bagging for customers in front of me. I left she said have a good day, this is a nice Dollar Tree, it is just very messy!

About 35 years ago in California, I bought a beautiful Oil Brushed Bronze floor lamp for my mom's…read more50th birthday. It had 2 side lamps, and a top dimmer lamp. Well, after assembling, disassembling, and reassembling it 8 times for moving, the move to Georgia was too much for it. And, the tube threads were stripped. Taking to the only lamp repair place within 30 miles didn't help due to the type of male threads (bushing vs bolt). And, even ordering one from Amazon didn't work, as the side globes didn't seat properly. So, for sure, I thought I'd be getting rid of the entire lamp. But, I kept the shades, and hoped that one day, I'd find a suitable replacement. And, yesterday morning, I did! Yay!While this floor lamp isn't identical to mine, it did suit my needs. Especially, since it'll be put in a corner, the single side bulb is probably a better bet. Even though the lady from yesterday wasn't working, the lady today was just as nice. And, very helpful, as she held the lamp While I unscrewed the original shade holder. After checking to see that the top shade fit (see picture; the shades are from my lamp), I bought it. And, even better, by paying cash, I got a 10% discount. Yay!

There is really no floor staff, so you are on your own there; but the cashiers are really friendly and do an excellent job at keeping the line moving. For years now when I have came to Milledgeville my wife has dragged me in here, and i usually find something i like and buy it.

The "stockers" do not answer questions about items. As we were told." we only stock, not help customers". The cashiers ask if you have a TJ Maxx card.. When you say no they do not ask if you want one. Prices right for items that you might be looking for. Store is clean.

Yesterday, my adoptive daughter and I went shopping (me, for a new recliner; her for a new stove,…read morewasher and dryer). And, after stopping by 3 different places (Sale prices {$399 to $1,499} were all over the place), we hit here on our last stop. And, I finally found a recliner that I liked, and was within my acceptable price range. The store was nice, and clean. And, the 2 Sales people (a man, and a woman) were friendly, professional and helpful. I had them go with Kristen to look at appliances, as I still hadn't decided on a recliner (either too uncomfortable. Or, beyond the price that I was willing to pay). Once I found a recliner that I liked, I went over to the appliance section. After waiting a couple of minutes, the lady turned to me. I told her that I found one that I like. After excusing herself, we walked back to the other side of the store, and I pointed out the recliner that I wanted. We drew up the paperwork, and I was able to get next day delivery ($25) set-up ($25)! 8-) The other places were, $99 and $120 (eek!) However, the recliner of my choice only had 2 color selections. So, this may be an issue for some people. But, for me, the color works well for my place. Unfortunately, all 3 places won't remove the old furniture. So, I have to get someone to pick up the old one.

I called them on Monday, and informed Larry that I had a recliner, full size adjustable bed and a few shirts to donate. But, would they be able to do a pick-up? And, though it took a few days (as expected), Larry called me late yesterday morning to let me know that he could come by around 1. After agreeing that the time would work, he showed up at about 1:06. Unfortunately, and because of the recliner, they couldn't get the bed into the truck. So, they took the recliner, and came back a little later for the bed. Today, I stopped by to see the place, and get a receipt. Now, don't expect this thrift shop to be on the level of Goodwill Industries. Like the small town of Mville, this shop is small. And, is only open 10-4, Monday thru Friday. But, they do have a nice selection of clothes, books and dishes. But, not much in the way of furniture.

I went to pick it up and they didn't even clean the inside of the pc and they charged me $95 dollars for doing nothing... I will never take anything to them, bad service and and business.
