It seems that every time we need maintenance on our machines, I'm lucky to get any kind of definite answer as to when the technician will be coming. And even when the tech is scheduled, I can honestly say he has never been on time. There have been a couple of times when he has come a few minutes before closing time. And EVERY time he has come, it is always in the afternoon, though I've requested morning service since he is often so late in the afternoon that we are staying past our business hours. I'm pretty sure they only have two technicians, and I can understand that our company is small and perhaps lower on their priority list, but we seem to constantly be waiting on them when our machines are down. And that's IF they even come, there have been times they say they're coming and have failed to show up at all until I hound the customer service people. The technician that comes does not speak very good English and seems to have a social anxiety disorder because he avoids talking to anyone about what the issue is. Often, he will "fix" the machine and leave before even touching base with someone, choosing someone who doesn't know about the issue to sign off on the invoice instead of explaining what work was done and what work is still needed. This leaves us clueless until we get the priced invoice in the mail or notice that the machine is still not working and we have to call again to get half-answers. They are the opposite of proactive when it comes to issues. I've been told so many times "Let me find out and I'll call you back" and then no one ever calls me back. And forget about talking to a supervisor or anyone who knows what's going on. OEO is a small company from what I can gather, but the owner is never available and the people you can talk to have no authority or control over anything. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that their toner prices are the lowest I can find, I would completely avoid using this company.

They are full of enticing promises, but these promises only end in disappointment. I ordered a Xerox machine from OEO and it was delivered weeks later than they said it would be. To make matters worse the day it was delivered it was hours late and it was the wrong machine! By this time I had orders stacking up from customers and either lost them or was able to appease some by offering a discount. Not to mention the model that was delivered was much slower than the one I ordered. I was told to use this machine until the machine I ordered became available. Needing a machine to get my orders done I agreed to this and ordered the necessary consumables. Approximately two months goes by and out of nowhere two OEO employees come and take the temporary machine I was using without a replacement. Here I am a business owner with no machine and they still have my money that I paid for the original purchase. I immediately call and want a refund to which they reply that the accountant is out and my refund cannot be done until tomorrow. Not settling for this I decided to call another OEO location and get in contact with the owner, Marvin. Marvin now knowing my situation tells me that I should have never been told to use a temporary machine and that he needed to talk with the salesman I dealt with and would call me back. I never received a return phone call, therefore, I call again only to hear more upsetting news. The owner, Marvin, while recognizing the errors on their side and saying he will fire the salesman that lied to me, has refused to fully refund me and charge me for usage of the temporary machine. Not once was I told this would be the case with the temporary machine and had I known this, I would never had agreed to those terms and sent the machine back right away. If you're considereing starting business with OEO, do not do it or I highly recommend you get EVERYTHING in writing and signed, so you have a fallback and save yourself a lot of trouble.
