Stopped in to grab one quick item. Office Max has everything you could possibly need for an office -- furniture, electronics, every type of office supply you can think of. The store was clean, organized, and the aisles were labeled with big, clear signs you could spot from the front door, so I found what i needed right away. It wasn't super busy, everyone seemed to be getting helped right away. They also have that front-desk area setup for printing, copies, and faxes, which makes it super easy to get in, get what you need, and keep it moving. Easy visit, found exactly what I came for. read more

This location doesn't typically have a ton of stock. Additionally, called in to see if they offer what is available online prior to placing an order, and spoke to someone who was brief and ended up hanging up the phone on me. Wouldn't spend my money here with better options like FedEx and Staples still standing. read more

This only pertains to the print department: If Phillip is working, you will get amazing service. He's a nice guy and knows exactly what he is doing. The rest of the staff in this department are completely incompetent, bad customer service, and don't seem to know what they are doing or even want to be there. I am here multiple times a week due to the proximity to where I live but the quality of printing is so bad most the time it isn't even usable and I get a refund. Will take my business to FedEx, much better quality. read more

FedEx in this place is terrible. Rude customer service and couldn't even ship my package out. "Sorry Baby, gotta deal with it. Says stores unrecognized, We Ain't even trying to reboot this computer again., deal with it" Then walks outside, lights up a smoke and blows cigarette smoke on my face talking to me at the front door... read more

Big shout out & Thanks to the Manager Aiden & Pam in the print area. They went above & beyond today after the system with Office Depot only wanted to deliver my item. Online chat & customer support failed but they found another way to help me bypass the system!! The quality, professionalism & calm need to be commended! THANK YOU! NOW WE CAN CELEBRATE read more

Officemax - Poster board print - Office Equipment Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Rose in the printing department was a great help with two things I needed printed...some small specific sized cards and a poster sized photo mounted on foam board. I was shocked to find out she's only been working there for 6 months. She did a fantastic job and handled all the customers patiently and professionally. read more

Nice store clean and organized staff super helpful. I went in looking for a tablet case and other stuff. Was looking for a screen saver but they did not have this. I like their prices here they seem reasonable. Parking is good at this store. Also they do not have any apple products but everything else. read more

Came here to pick up a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse to go with my wife's new MacAir. I know Mac does not take most wireless keyboards pretty well as most of them does not support iOS. And as a cheap Chinese, I don't want to go to Apple store and get their $150.00 keyboard and mouse. Therefore, we came here and see if they might have something we can use. This store has been in this plaza for as long as I can remember, but I never really shop here. We tried to find the computer accessories but was having no luck. Trying to find a store staff to help you was not easy. We had to walk straight to the cashier and was hoping that's something he can do. He pointed us to the right isle where keyboards can be found. But just as I suspected, most of the items they carry do not support iOS. We just picked up a mouse which we were told supports iOS hoping that'd get us through the night because my wife had to work that night. As it turns out, even thought the box says it supports iOS, it does not work very well. My wife was able to manage and finished her work but we know we had to get a new keyboard and mouse. Overall, I only wish this store carries more selection for both PC and Mac users. Given how big this store is, it shouldn't be all that difficult to have just an isle where we can find iOS compatible products. Or is it just me that most Mac users get their stuff at the Apple store and can't find them no place else? read more

Office Max the past few times I came here I had to fax something as I have given up my landline at home. This last visit entailed me going on their computer to fill out a form online get it printed out, sign and than fax. The whole transaction cost $2,61. The company that needed this does not use email because if they did I could have done this from home. The gentleman that works here was helping me and two other customers at the same time as well as someone on the phone. I find that land based brick and mortar stores are extremely under staffed so the customer waits. After this transaction my hubby who drove me here was looking at the laptops and 2 and 1 tablets. Prices were insanely cheap that compared to Costco this was clearly the winner. So we attempted to find someone so we could buy. Easier said than done other than the guy juggling people to send faxes and printing you have a Customer Service Manager guarding an empty register with no customers at the exit. Ok so get this he hesitantly leaves his spot to assist us. This is after telling us that someone didn't show up for work and someone else is out to lunch. All during the back to school rush. So he upsells us to a better computer for the money. Fantastic price an HP for $399. with Office already installed as well as Mackee Fee security and also comes with a portable mouse. So he gets everything for us rings us up while trying unsuccessfully to sell us sevice and additional years of security. Sorry that this store is so poorly staffed during the back to school rush this place could actually make money if they had staff. Hopefully we don't have to fax anything again any time soon. This place is a chore to go to. read more

Wow this place sucks no organization. A clutter of people seemed to walk in before and after us. We all just scanned the place for some marking of where a line should begin. A quick print trip turned into 10 minutes of walking around to look for an associate. We never did, but people just started creating a line. We stay in line and an associate pops up like a ghost. Maybe 5 minutes later we are told that we are in the wrong line? TF? One associate was handling 3 imaginary lines that were filled with hostile people. We decided not to react as others and received decent service - but really what TF was going on here. Computer wasn;t printing like the screens directed. And computer was not (thankfully) billing per every minute of use. Most of the time in line we listened to people reminisce about a Staples that use to be in the area. If you're here, you probably have no other options. read more

Officemax - Office Equipment Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Office Max, which has merged with Office Depot; offers a variety of electronics, filing supplies, copy paper, ink for printers, office furniture, desk organizers, paper & pads, stationery, planners, etc. for the home and/or office. The prices for the items can range from affordable to pricey with certain items on sale at times. There are a few friendly and knowledgeable employees on the floor ( if you can find them) who will offer to help the customers find what he or she is looking for. I like coming here at times to get the things I need, but I find it frustrating that the store doesn't have a particular item that I see on their website in the store or such restrictions on items I can not use a coupon on. read more

Called to see if they had a specific printer in stock, as online showed one. The guy said to pay online, when we went online it kicked us out. This place seems understaffed. I've been waiting for a good 20 minutes in line to pick up a poster. That said, the customer service has been good. Huntley has been very kind and helpful. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The staff is nice. However prices hardly ever come up right in the register. Check your pricing before you pay. Forget the clearance section. 90% of the items in the clearly marked clearance section have not been price reduced. They know this and they don't care. Usually only one register open no matter how busy. Save yourself the aggregation and go to the Office Depot in Sheridan plaza instead. It's nearby. Trust me. read more

Clean and organized store. Luisa is the store manager at this location and she's always helped me and assisted me with any purchase, return, or question I may have had in a professional and timely manner. Definitely come to this OfficeMax to shop! read more

Always get what I need in a hurry and deal with the nicest people ever. Maybe it's because I'm nice to others and don't expect the world to be perfect at every moment for me but I've frequented this place many times without issue. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The place had about 10 staff just roaming around and fiddling their thumbs and only one of them was actually at the printing counter, typing one letter per minute on the computer, and after about 30 minutes of wasting my time to drop off 2 packages, I just gave up and decided to drive to another location to just drop off my packages. I'm surprised this location hasn't gone out of business because I've seen understaffed locations get done 20 times more. Also the so called "manager" claimed that he didn't even know how to use the shipping center of the store. Pathetic. read more

This is the worst place to go and get any help Horrible the don't know what they are doing after spending 30 minutes to send next day fedex I had to walk away I wouldn't come to buy paper in this place read more

I just walked out of this OfficeMax I have been standing in line for 32 minutes waiting to buy a stamp I called the manager on my phone and explain to him that all I needed was the paperwork to order it and according to him he has no one else in the store qualified to run that section I explain to him I didn't need help I just need the form. you would think that he would have come out and handed me the form so that I could fill it out, so that when it was my turn I could pay this allowing the person behind me to get Service quicker also. after standing there for another 7 minutes that Ideal never crossed his mind. I was looking at him on the other side of the store he could have handed me the form. read more

Bought an external hard drive earlier this year. It stopped working . Went to store for return and was stonewalled by manager named Sunhail whose only assistance offered was an 800 number which was incorrect! When Sunhail tried to call again she was unable to find anyone in customer service as well for 10 minutes She claimed they could not check any date of purchase or warranty that was more than a few weeks old and that I had no recourse but to talk to an 800 number that put her and me on indefinite hold This is why you should not buy from this chain I still have no resolution read more

This is the most poorly run store I have ever been in. Waited 15 minutes in line and was told by a manager to move to another register. I ordered something online for quick and easy pick up. Don't bother! I arrived and the clerk located my order on the computer then the manager- I believe his name was Vincent came over took the receipt and went to locate my order. She finished processing my transaction while he was off doing that and I signed that I picked up my order. One would think I would be able to leave with my 1 little item but no, he then proceeds to hold my item hostage for about 5 minutes while he fiddles with the computer and the young clerk quietly asks if she did something wrong. That's when he proceeds to say, "that's what I'm trying to figure out honey". Honestly, I wanted to flip my lid- you don't call your subordinate "honey" EVER!!! and give me my item!!!! I could have walked into the DEAD store and finished faster. I asked for my item to leave and he said, "ma'am I'm trying to figure out how to close out the transaction and you need to sign for it". I pointed out I already did that, grabbed my bag, and made a beeline for the door. Office Depot apparently bought out the company but they have not gotten rid of the horrible employees or archaic processes. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere or don't order online "honey"! read more

Ordered a printer on good ole Amazon and it didn't work. Had to go through the trouble of returning it. Stopped in to this office max and the manager helped me pick a printer. He recommended a Brother, as he had no problems with his. I did...and NO PROBLEMS!! Thanks guy! I am committing to shopping less on Amazon and go to stores to make sure what I am getting will work/fit. Also, I learned they offer delivery for an office chair I had my eyes on. Ordering that now, that is why I am on here..looking up their contact info. Thought I would leave a review. read more

I have never written a review for anything before but this store makes me so mad I had to let people and owner know. I have been going here on and off for about 4 years and every time it has been awful. I always say I won't go there again but it's close to home and office.
